Race 1: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT **$100,000 GTD Pick 5**
(1) HESINCONTROL faces much easier here and he should be able to control the fractions and hold off the closers; top call. (8) KINCAID SEELSTER is also in much easier here and sharp improvement from him tonight would not be a surprise; using. (9) CENTURY HEFNER raced well at Georgian Downs despite being out the route. He brings solid form back to Mohawk Park and he's worth a price look for the exotics here. (4) KOUNT BLASTER made a couple of moves and stuck around for a share. He can be part of the Tri or Super this week again.

Race 2: DREAM MAKER SERIES 2ND LEG 2YO
(4) TRUE BLUE LINDY let a rival get the jump on him last week and there was no catching that one in the final 1/4. He looks best here in this short field. (6) ATLAS HANOVER blasted for position, sat in, then moved first-over and couldn't keep going forward in a 1:51 3/5 mile. He stands a much better chance here and he is the other one that I'll use in the early Pick 5. (1) NAUTICAL HANOVER should go better having had a race over the track but I prefer to use him underneath here. (2) ROCKAWAY BAY moves inside off a decent effort and he should be part of the Super tonight.

Race 3: NW3 (F&M5) or $48,000 (F&M $50,000)
(7) RITSON was a dominant winner vs. similar here two starts back and he should be tough coming back from Pennsylvania sires stakes action. (1) PRINCESSPARTYPANTS is razor sharp right now and she should be the main rival to the choice tonight. (3) TRIP SEVENS hasn't seen a fast track in a while and she should find this company easier, too. She isn't impossible in this spot. (9) DEALIN WITH DEWEY kicked home in 27 2/5 and could do no better than finish 5th last week. He can hit the ticket vs. these tonight.
Race 4: ONTARIO SIRED 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES WHO HAVE STARTED IN THE GRASSROOTS SERIES - Pick 4
(1) SILVER LABEL, a dominant Gold winner last time, only gets into this race because she made her debut in a Grassroots race. She stands out here. (8) VELVET STINGER might have won by 10 had she stayed pacing the entire mile on July 20th. This is no easy spot but her price will climb tonight; longshot look. (4) MOTOVATION cruised down the stretch with the race locked up early last time but this is tougher and I'll use her underneath. (3) DELIGHT BAYAMA zig-zagged her way to a win on the 20th. In this much tougher spot I'll use her underneath.
Race 5: NW $18,000 L5 or $30,000 L10 or NW $120,000 LT AE: 3YO
(2) PIKACHU HANOVER drops from the top class and he draws well. He should have a big shot vs. these tonight. (4) LOGAN PARK is the undisputed leader in the three-year-old Gold division and he trotted the fastest mile in the history of Rideau Carlton in his last start. That race was three weeks ago however, and this colt will be racing for $100K next week against his own age group so be careful here. (3) DANCER HALL is a contender here moving back inside only two starts removed from a 1:52 4/5 score from this same post. (6) ALL WRAPPED UP used a perfect trip to reach up for a second straight win last week and he should be good for a share in this tougher spot.
Race 6: Fillies and Mares Claiming Handicap $12,000 to $16,000 - Pick 5
(6) VINES TO HEAVEN won for Moreau off the claim last week now she moves to another barn that is potent racing fresh claims; call to repeat. Not much went right for (1) COLD CREEK LACEY on the 12th. She can bounce back with a better effort here starting from the rail. (4) REAR VIEW, popular at the claim box recently, can come on late for a small share again tonight. (7) BLINK AND GONE was no match for the choice last week and she looks like a fringe player in this field; using on the bottom.
Race 7: NW5 (F&M8) or $70,000 F&M $87,500 or NW1 since Sept. 1/2020 - Pick 4
The NW1 since 9/1/20 condition of this race was written for (6) HP ROYAL THEO whose last win came on August 28th of last year. He handles these if he brings anything close to his best. (2) HEAVENSDOOR HANOVER shattered his previous lifetime best mark two starts back with McNair driving and that teamster returns here. That’s enough for me to use him on multi-race tickets. (8) MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE has really improved his late speed recently and he is a good one to use in the exotics at a price here. (10) LEXUS KODY is a rapidly-improving sophomore that is likely using this race as a tune up for next week’s $100K Gold event but he can land in the Tri or Super.
Race 8: Fillies and Mares Claiming $18,000 for NW $80,000 LT
(1) TUGGINONCREDIT gets Roy back tonight following a one race absence to drive Gold horses elsewhere and she should be tough starting from the rail here. (2) KAYLIES REAL was first up pressing some big fractions last week now she gets Henry. She's worth a look at what should be a square price here. (8) MCDELICACY responded well late last week now she gets the leading driver. She's not out of this. (6) HALLSGLENSMAVIS never misses a check and she's hard to leave off Super tickets.

Race 9: PREFERRED
For whatever reason, (1) TREASURED TEE performs at his best with McNair driving and he returns here; top call. (4) COMBS HANOVER was a bit too far back last week in a fast last 1/4 and he still trotted 27 1/5 but could do no better than 4th. The short field helps him here; using. (2) PERFETTO figures to get a good trip racing near the front and he is another in with a good chance tonight. (5) DREAM NATION never misses the Super it seems and he should be in it again tonight.
Race 10: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $18,500 LT
(3) ROUSER HANOVER comes out of the fastest qualifier in the history of the sport and he looks like a 1 to 9 shot that should dominate the final leg of the late Pick 5. (2) SARATOGA BLUE CHIP makes an interesting barn change here coming off a decent Grassroots effort. He could provide some Exacta value. (7) THE LEGEND HANOVER couldn't seal the deal last week as the 4 to 5 chalk but he can improve in this second start over the track; using underneath. (5) SHADOW IN RED has been firing quick final quarters recently and he should be part of this Super. (10) CODYS WATCHING is always passing horses. He's a good one to use in the bottom rungs of the exotics.
