(1) LINDYS IRISHCREAM just trotted a 27 2/5 kicker and she can beat these if she is in striking range at the 3/4 pole; top call in the opener. (7) BULLDOG comes off a solid effort in a good lower conditioned level field and he fits well vs. these; using. (9) MASTER GRAND will likely blast off early with Roy driving and he could get brave if he clears to the front. He is one to consider at a price for the early Pick 5. (6) UNCLE MORRIS just broke his maiden but he did so impressively. He can pass some of these and take a share.

Race 2: CLM HDCP $14,000 to $18,000

(8) MAINTENANCE MAN drops and likely pops here. Expect an aggressive Filion steer. (4) HERESTHATMANAGAIN stepped up to this level and doubled up. His current good form should be respected in this spot. (7) LETS GET ROCKED should get positioned near the front early and stick around for a share. (2) HAPUNA BEACH was on a big roll earlier in the year now he seems like a fringe player; using on the bottom.

(8) EPIC DREAMER races off the claim having requalified after breaking stride twice in a row. He is fast enough to beat these if he can stay trotting. (4) DELCREST BRENT was in some tough races at Grand River. He fits well here, and he will likely get put into play by Hudon; using. (2) VILLEFRANCHE AS is 1 for 28 this year but she seems to fit well vs. this Pop Up field and this is a spot where she could take her second win. (6) VICTOR INVICTUS holds no apparent edge as the morning line favorite. He will be a play against for me.

Race 4: 3 YO COLTS & GELDINGS: GRASSROOTS STARTERS. AE: 3YO NW $23,000 (OS $46,000) LT - Pick 4

(5) JACK N ABS stands out to me here starting from the middle of the gate and he will be a single for me in the early multi-race tickets. (9) SLAYIN THEDAY AWAY is improving every start, and he can be an Exacta factor in this spot despite drawing wide. (2) STORMONT HAPPY DAY raced okay in the mid-season Consolation, and he can take a slice here. (10) ROCK CLIMBER would be rated higher if he drew better than post 10.

Race 5: NW $9,880 LAST 5 STARTS OR NW $18,900 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. AE: NW $28,500 IN 2024 (MIN. 6 STARTS)

This looks like a race where (10) GIGONDAS can blast off early and either lead all the way or find the pocket; price play. (1) ESPRESSO shipped in and raced well immediately in a fast race. He should be right there vs. these. (6) RICKY RESOLVE draws better and he will be coming late. He is another live option for early multi-race tickets. (7) KEVIN ANTHONY has been taking frequent shares and he should get another one here.

Race 6: HORSES THAT HAVE STARTED FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS IN ONE OF LAST 3 STARTS - Pick 5

I think McNair blasts (5) REACTOR NOW A straight to the front and sends him on a speed mission in this spot and he gets top billing. (1) WOODMERE FENN is the choice’s main rival but he tends to be trip dependent so I wouldn’t take a short price here. (2) DOCSPHILLYCHEESE got hot at Grand River and he comes off a nice first up win. He is in the mix tonight. (4) HARPERS HAT TRICK’s race here two starts back identifies him as a contender for at least a share.

Race 7: NW $17,500 LAST 5 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $70,000. AE: NW $115,000 LIFETIME. AE: NW $32,000 LAST 5 STARTS TO DRAW OUTSIDE - Pick 4

(6) PATRIARCH HANOVER should appreciate getting away from Logan Park and Fashion Frenzie and he gets the nod starting from the best post on the class drop. (7) DEALIN WITH DEWEY trotted a phenomenal wining mile when taking a new life mark last week and he will be tough here if he can repeat that effort. (5) SAFE CONDUCT took a big shuffle and he still almost won. His strong late kick makes him a contender. (2) MRMAYOR HANOVER just won at this level, but this is a tougher field. I’ll use him underneath.

Race 8: NW $5,100 LAST 5 STARTS. AE: NW $30,500 IN 2024. AE: NW $1,850 LAST 3 STARTS

Two drop-and-pop specialists (2) ROCKME ROLLME and (1) POINTS NORTH line up beside each other after finishing a neck apart vs. tougher. It makes sense to play whichever one offers the better price when the gate starts rolling. (4) KOPI LUWAK is another dropper that figures in this spot. Four starts back he won racing one level higher. (3) BEYOND BETTER is another dropper to consider but he will likely need to chase down all of the top three picks and I don’t see that happening; using underneath.

(5) MACALLAN started getting better results when he got more aggressive, and he should be the one to catch here. (2) CADILLAC MOON is the other one that figures to get sent forward leaving the gate and I can see the top two battling for the win down the lane; using. (8) ZIP ME UP raced okay in both starts at Grand River and he should be good for a share in this spot. (1) NO ANGEL LIKE ME will likely sit a trip and take a slice if she stays trotting this time.

Race 10: CLM HDCP $30,000 to $40,000

(9) HES SWIFT would have equaled his lifetime mark last week if not for being set back due to a pylon violation. He remains the one to catch and beat. (6) DR JOE is 0 for 10 this year but he paced a 26 2/5 third 1/4 last week and he could be a threat here if the race falls apart late; using. (1) MR BEAST stepped up to this level last week and finished less than two lengths behind the choice. He should be part of the Tri again. (5) COALITION HANOVER should race better in this second start for Barrington. The tote board may provide some clues here. (7) SWEET DEISEL will likely improve in the second start racing off the Bourassa claim. He is in the exotics mix.
