AE: NW $20,000 IN 2025 (MIN 10 STARTS) LEG 2. AE: LEG 1 STARTERS. (8) BETTER SUNSET looked lost at the top of the stretch before re-rallying impressively to get the win. The post will help his price. (4) BOOMING ECONOMY could be first to the lead which would help try to get him a rated second quarter. He can sprint with anyone in here if he gets it. (2) BET THE BB could be favored again this week, but the race might set up for him to be first over. (7) DOWS UP was a strong third from off the pace. He can pass tired rivals late to hit the ticket. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 (FM 4) RACES OR $52,000 (OS $62,500) LIFETIME. (3) ZETTE ATHENA is logical off the class drop and has been showing more since adding Lasix. (1) P L SAPPHIRE rallied well from the back to pick up the pieces. She tends to have success when grinding into the race. (5) COVER BAND is usually always involved, and has versatility. A definite use in exotics. (4) RIGHT HERE HANOVER produced a big effort in defeat last week. His style should keep him at a reasonable price and allow him to hit the ticket. Race 3: NW $9,000 LAST 5 STARTS OR NW $23,250 LAST 10 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. AE: NW $91,000 LIFETIME OR NW $1,700 LAST 3 STARTS. (1) MYFRIENDJOSE was a down the road threat last week, and went exactly that trip en route to a new career best. He faces a different bunch, but can repeat. (7) LMC WAGON WHEEL has more than what he showed last week. Even if he races from off the pace again, he should be able to grind into contention. (2) SOUTHWIND DOMINO should take plenty of support on the strength of that last line, and if they leave him alone up front, it could be trouble. (3) WILLOWTIME will need to show more off the claim. He is moving in the wrong direction. Race 4: POP UP SERIES: H&G THAT HAVE STARTED FOR A PURSE OF $7,500 OR LESS IN ONE OF LAST 3 STARTS. AE: NW $20,000 IN 2025 (MIN 10 STARTS) LEG 2. AE: LEG 1 STARTERS. (7) LIVINTHEBEACHLIFE dropped and popped as expected. He stands out here. (9) ULYSSES made a sustained grind into the race and only lost by just over a length. I think a similar trip is in store, and he can get a big piece. (2) LEAVE IT TO LUTHER finished best of the rest behind a runaway favorite. His staying power is better than others, especially if he has to be first over. (5) JK VICTORY got shuffled after initially leaving last week. He is best when tracking from up close. Race 5: NW $17,500 LAST 5 STARTS.  AE: NW $45,000 IN 2025. (10) EMOJI HANOVER was on her way to a win two starts ago before making a break. I’ll try her this week despite the wide draw. (7) QUEBEC HANOVER drops from the Preferred level and should be forwardly placed. He is racing well. (2) PEMBERTON is the trotting enigma of Mohawk. He finally popped last week but was odds on. He should work out a good trip against these. (5) SAFE CONDUCT returns to action for the first time this year after two sharp qualifiers. The tote board will tell us plenty. Race 6: NW $3,000 LAST 5 STARTS. AE: NOT AVERAGING $1,350 PER START IN 2025. AE: NW 2 RACES LAST 10 STARTS. (7) PALLADIUM HANOVER comes off an easy win on the front end. He should have a similar time getting to the front against this field and look to repeat. I’ve been waiting for (3) LARCENY to be forwardly placed, at least a little bit. He should sit closer in this short field and add value if he can work out a trip. (5) FOREFATHER is always in the mix and should also be upgraded with the short field. (6) JMR SPEAK AWAY loves to get checks and doesn’t need to pass many rivals to get another. Race 7: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER NW $18,000 LIFETIME. AE: PROSPECT STARTERS. (2) FIVE STAR LOU has a solid move to get himself into the race, but he needs to sustain it or not get lonely on the lead once he makes it. I’ll give him the nod over his stablemate. (3) PAC MAN HANOVER has been off for over a month but the late kick he showed was excellent. I would expect him to be forward if he is ready to roll. (6) SHINING MOMENT has shown plenty of speed under the hood, but is yet to hit the board this year. That could change. (1) DANCININTHEFIRE is a step below these right now. He can track along and get a piece. Race 8: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 (FM 3) RACES OR $26,750 LIFETIME. AE: 3 YO N/A $3,380 P/S IN 2025. (6) WILDTURKEY HANOVER has two solid tightening efforts under his belt since the qualifier, and now faces easier competition. I think this is his week to break though. (7) BEERSNSUNSHINEDEO got an equally good tightener last week and now draws slightly better. Both of the top two can be forwardly placed. (2) FRENCHMONI HANOVER stuck around after an outside move and raced well. He can do well against this group. (4) LANCELOT stayed flat last week and rallied for a share. He is on track to get another check. AE: NW $20,000 IN 2025 (MIN 10 STARTS) LEG 2. AE: LEG 1 STARTERS. (1) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE was a dominant winner when dropping into this Pop-Up Series. It’s to ignore an effort like that. (2) WALLACE HARTLEY was equally as aggressive and strolled to victory too. They should provide most of the early speed. (6) TARQUINUS HANOVER should have every chance to track from up close and outsprint rivals late if he’s good enough. (3) WRY loomed up in the late stages after swinging wide. He can use the early speed to his advantage and get a share. Race 10: NW $6,000 LAST 5 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $30,000. AE: N/A $1,430 P/S IN 2024-2025. AE: NW OF A RACE IN 2025 (MIN 10 STARTS). (4) MASSTERCRAFT is a major drop and pop candidate in tonight’s finale. His recent efforts have been fine against tougher, but fit very well here. (2) MYRETIREMENTDREAM has added value to exotics for many weeks now. He is another who should flourish on the drop in class, combined with the post switch. (6) MY BUDDY SAM should step forward in his second start off the bench. He preferably doesn’t get mired in mid-pack. (5) EYES OF JUSTICE got one trip lately that was going to help him win, and it was when he blasted to the front and kept going. I don’t think he wins until that happens again. (1) PESO HANOVER has shown enough in recent weeks to be a factor tonight. He can round out the Hi-5.
