(2) KING KACTUS got a needed clean line and he gained a lot of ground late on a big favorite last week. He is in with a shot here. (5) MRMAYOR HANOVER, stablemate to the choice, ships in from Pennsylvania sharp and he is dangerous here. (6) POCOHONTAS should close late again for another share.

Race 2: NW $10,000 L5 or $28,000 L10 AE: Starters for a purse of $16,000 or less in 1 of L4

(4) MUSCLE FASHION dropped, got Filion, and popped and he only missed his lifetime mark by 3/5 of a second. I like him to repeat here despite the class rise. (6) I GOT THE LOOKS races best for Drury and he returns tonight; price look. (8) GETTING SERIOUS had a race over the track now he gets the first time McNair angle tonight. He is another that could improve sharply here. (1) ALL WRAPPED UP is a bit of a brain teaser because he often stacks up well and comes too late. I'll use him underneath.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Third Leg 3YO Fillies

(6) QUEBECOISE was a first-over 4th in a tougher field in a fast race last week. She looks good vs. these and she will probably get an aggressive steer from Young; top call. (7) ADDICTIVEBEHAVIOUR was a good 3rd to the choice last time after leaving from the 10-hole. Her outside draw in this shorter field isn't as bad and she is in with a decent chance tonight. (3) RAPTORS WON gets McNair with her regular driver out with an injury. She should get put into the race early and she could get a great trip racing near the front tonight. (2) GIRL SCOUT COOKIE will likely get positioned near the front early and ride a trip to a spot in the Super.

Race 4: Pop-Up series Claiming $15,000 for NW $20,000 LT - Pick 4

(8) ALADDIN DU LAC is interesting here dropping out of a tougher race in Quebec that featured fast fractions. Part-owner Roy takes the lines and he should put him into play early; top call. (5) FEAR THE DICE shoots for a fourpeat after dominating conditioned claimers three times at Grand River. He is an obvious speed threat here. (6) BIG ACE clicked in his second start for the Cullen barn and he is another to consider for multi-race tickets. (2) PHILTHEBANK will likely sit an inside following trip and take a slice.

Race 5: NW $35,000 L5 or NW9 LT AE: 4YO Mares

(6) PIKACHU HANOVER will be happy that he doesn't have to chase Fashion Frenzie around the track tonight and he gets the nod with that sharp rival ineligible for the conditions of this race. (4) PATRIARCH HANOVER is another that will move up with Fashion Frenzie missing and I can see him and the top choice fighting it out for the win here. (8) LOGAN PARK improved last week and he finished ahead of the top two choices partly because he got a better trip. I'll use him underneath here. (1) DONNA SOPRANO made only one start following a Grand Circuit win last fall so something obviously went amiss. I'll give her one making her first start in 9 months.

Race 6: Winners of 3 (F&M4) but not more than 6 (F&M7) or $80,000 (F&M $100,000) LT AE: Ont. Sired 3YO - Pick 5

(3) WORLD AT WAR DEO just faced the best sophomore male trotters on the continent twice and he should enjoy this class relief tonight; top call. (6) SAFE CONDUCT gets a better post here and he is capable of beating these if he is in striking range at the 1/8th pole; using. (1) TWIN B ARCHIE is a high class Gold trotter that has missed three weeks and could need this race as a tightener for an upcoming stake. He can win but I wouldn't take a short price. (4) LEXUS CODY has been a bit unlucky to lose three straight by a neck or less. He should be right there again.

Race 7: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT

(6) CHOCOLATE PARFAIT draws best for this debut and she wouldn't need to improve much on her lone qualifier to get the job done at first asking; top call. (10) HANDSOME SEBASTIAN keeps coming up short and while he will get there one of these times, he isn't one that I can accept a short price on, especially from the 10-hole. (2) SEVERENCE ANGEL is probably fast enough to win this but she comes off two breaks and she will likely get a conservative steer tonight; using underneath. (1) SEEKING SALVATION will likely close from the back for another small share.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Third Leg 3YO Fillies - Pick 4

(6) MOMENTARILY was nailed late by two rivals last week but that was a non-points race and she had missed a week. I'll give her the nod to rebound tonight. (2) GIRL IN A TAVERN tripped out perfectly in the choice's pocket and she got by late. She took a new lifetime mark though, and she is sharp and dangerous. (1) DEWITT FOR JOSIE is a good one to use underneath because she will likely sit an inside following trip the whole way racing close to the front. (8) IM ON THE EDGE shoots for a threepeat here but this is a big step up; small share predicted.

Race 9: NW $10,000 L5 or $28,000 L10 AE: Starters for a purse of $16,000 or less in 1 of L4

(2) FREE WILLY HANOVER drops after racing well vs. better. He could be sitting on a win; top call. (3) HP ROYAL THEO has reached peak form, winning two of his last three and he should be the main threat here. (4) GLOBETROTTING is another dropper that could do here with the right trip; using. (9) BAUTISTA hasn't missed the Exacta in several weeks but he faces tougher here. I'll use him on the bottom.

Race 10: NW $2,000 L3 AE: N/A $670 P/S in 2022

(8) ROCKIN N TALKIN gets a cushy spot here and I imagine he will go right down the road racing at this bottom conditioned level tonight. (6) LORD ANTHONY exits some fast Pop-Up races and he should improve sharply in this spot. He is the other one that I'll use on late multi-race tickets. (7) UNCONTROLLABLE wasn't far back twice in fast miles. He should improve enough to take a share here. (3) PIPEWRENCH CHARLIE should sit another inside trip and land in the Tri or Super.

Race 11: Pop-Up series F&M Claiming $15,000 for NW $20,000 LT

(9) MIGHTY MELISSA adds Lasix after flashing big early speed before breaking last time out and she could lead all the way tonight; top call. (8) CENTURY ISABELLA stacks up well on the drop into a claimer and she should be the main threat racing from close range. (6) THE WITCHES BREW is in good form, but at press time she was listed to race in Sarnia on Saturday night, so I'm not sure she won't be a late scratch if she does indeed race on Saturday. (2) WINDSUN MARTINI’s recent form is improved. She can take a share here. (10) DUSTINS GIRL would be rated higher had she drawn better. From out there I'll use her on the bottom.
