(6) KIWI FOCUS N made a power move to the front and sustained it to the wire while beating many of these in a sharp effort here last week; call to repeat. (3) HANNAH ON THE VIRG took a shuffle in a tougher race and she should improve vs. these; using. (7) HOWMACFEISTY gamely chased the choice home and she is in good form now. She should be right there again. (4) BEHAVENMYSELF stopped to a walk as the heavy lock last week when something seemed to go awry. She's right back in against many of the same rivals but I'll play to beat her tonight.

Race 2: F&M NW9 or $130,000 LT

(7) SHESWILDNFREE is coming back to her best form and she can take her sixth win of the year vs. this group. (1) ANGRY EYES lacked room until very late in the stretch and she was flying at the wire once free. She merits a close look tonight. (5) PROFOUND PARAGON won several times over this track last year and she fits well here. She should be in the hunt tonight. (8) SORPRESE was good at a huge price here last week and she can land in the Tri or Super again tonight.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 3YO Fillies

(4) SCARLETT HANOVER could do no better than finish 6th despite pacing her own final 1/4 under 26 seconds at the Meadowlands but that should be a good tightener for her and the 2020 'O Brien Award winner should handle these as stakes season approaches. (2) BEST HEAD WEST was motoring late chasing a strong leader and she should be the main danger here. (3) ANDRA DAY gets away from sharp Voelz Delight but this spot is no picnic; using underneath. (1) NIGHTLIFE SEELSTER should e good for another share, likely at a price vs. these.

Race 4: Claiming Handicap $12,000 to $15,000 - Pick 4

(5) MISTER MAGIC goes back to the Auciello barn and he won 14 times for that trainer in 2020. A return to his winning ways would not be surprising at all here. (9) ARRAKIS was decent racing in the top class at Georgian Downs and he should be in the mix here racing on or near the front; using. (6) GLOIRE DREAM was best of the rest chasing an uncatchable winner last week and he should be part of the Tri tonight. (3) YOOOUKILIS is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics racing off the claim.

Race 5: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT

(7) CARTIERE showed some talent in his lone qualifier and this isn't a tough spot to make his debut. He gets the nod at first asking. (4) U R ASURPRISE TOME looks like a new (and much faster) horse this year under the care of trainer/driver Hudon and he's on my multi-race tickets tonight. (5) SAULSBROOK HERO has paced the fastest recent mile for driver Jones who won his first Mohawk Park here last week and looked confident doing it. He is another in with a chance here. (1) HESINCONTROL was edged late by the choice in that June 10th qualifier and he should be good for a share here.

Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 3YO Fillies - Pick 5

(1) JODY gets a big test here but she has been on fire and she might be up to it; slight nod. (3) VOELZ DELIGHT was on a roll before coming up against tough Lady Arthur in the slop and she's the one to beat here. (7) OURLITTLEMIRACLE is undefeated racing out of the Fellows barn and she's worth a look despite facing tougher tonight. (4) DABARNDAWGSWATCHIN is right there every week and there’s no reason to think that she won't be part of the exotics here.

Race 7: NW $12,000 L5 or NW L10 AE: OPT Claiming $35,000 - Pick 4

(1) RUN DIRECTOR starts the year at a reduced level and he qualified nicely for this. He should be tough vs. these. (9) DERF HANOVER drops and he is a threat to lead all the way here; using. (3) ZIG ZAG took a lot of pari-mutuel support last week but he wasn't very good racing first up. He is capable of better and he takes a big drop here; using. (5) SOUTHWIND AVENGER is in top form but this is a tough NW $12K Last 5. He is likely destined to get a small share tonight.

Race 8: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $30,000 LT

(3) CENTURY HANNIBAL was able to mow down the leaders late in the mile last week despite drifting wide in the lane and he gets the call to repeat against these. (5) MUSTANG BEACH fires a big final 1/4 every week and he should be right there again; using. (6) BRILLIANT CORNERS improved sharply in his first start racing out of the Auciello barn but these conditioned foes are much tougher and I wouldn't take a short price on him tonight. (7) TRUFFLE DOG was given a perfect steer last week and it resulted in a final stride decision going his way. I see him finishing on the edges vs. these.

Race 9: NW5 (F&M7) or $80,000: F&M $87,500LT

(8) NYLANDER powered up late in the mile to beat some of these last week and he can chase down the speed again in this spot; call to repeat. (6) ROYALTY DEAL tired late in the mile when beaten by the choice and she is likely the one to catch as they are coming to the wire again tonight. (5) HIGH GEAR NO FEAR can last longer with this drop in class but I see him finishing in the bottom of the exotics. (7) TOCCOA FALLS should pass a few of these late again to take a small share.

Race 10: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000 LT

(7) ISLAND BEACH BOY got the room he needed late in the mile last week but that was just when the eventual winner was kicking into high gear on the far outside. He should have a good chance vs. these. (10) LANCASTER BOMBER moves up off a sharp win and he has the gate speed and the driver to handle the widest post; using. (3) ARMOR SEELSTER is clearly improved but this is a much tougher assignment and I'll use him underneath tonight. (8) UCANTTOUCHTHIS demolished weaker foes and he is another I see finishing on the fringes with this step up in class. (2) COTE DAZUR has been finishing well and he could crack the exotics at a big price here.
