(5) THRILLING TIMES was bet like he couldn't lose on the barn change to Moreau last week and he converted. He could be even sharper tonight returning to a 7-day rotation and he is the one to beat. (4) GOING FAST was doing just that at the wire last time but he ran out of racetrack. He stacks up well in this Pop-Up race; using. (2) FLASH CUBE exits some tough races in Ottawa and he should contend for at least a share in this spot. (7) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE got a perfect trip and he had the livest legs in the lane last week. I’m inclined to bet against him as an underlay here.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD LEG 1 2YO Colts and Geldings

(6) SNOWPIERCER won like a good colt in his debut, in command all the way and never looking like he could get beat; call to repeat. (1) MASS MARKET produced a nice rally at big odds in his debut. He is the main danger to the choice. (8) ALL STAR YANKEE closed well for 3rd in that race and he likely gets more aggressive now racing for $70K; upset chance. (7) I AM SPEED, a $17,000 Ontario Select sale buy, looks ready for a good try on debut and he should be part of the exotics.

Race 3: Pop-Up series Leg 2 for horses that have started for a purse of $10,000 or less in 1 of L4 AE: 1st leg starters

Last time Doug McNair took over the driving duties on (6) HESINCONTROL, he won two straight immediately. He should convert here as the probable chalk. (4) CLEVER CHARACTER raced tough last week only to be picked off by a rival who enjoyed a perfect setup. He should be a big threat right back. (9) LYONS JOHNNY JR was a game winner last week in leg 1 but I don't love the widest post for him tonight. I'll use him underneath. (8) BETTOR BE GOING will likely flash gate speed and stick around for a share.

Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD LEG 1 2YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 4

(1) OH LOOK MAGIC won well on debut now he gets the leading driver in the bike; call to repeat. (7) OSCEOLA, a $70,000 Lexington purchase, might just be faster than these judging by his most recent qualifier and he is hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (6) NOTHINGBUTADREAMER gets a driver change to Roy and he is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics making his second start. (5) PASSARINO finished well in his second qualifier. I can see him landing in the bottom of the exotics on debut here.

Race 5: NW $9,000 L5 or $20,000 L10 AE: Starters for a purse of $16K in 1 of L3 AE: NW1 in L12

(8) TRUFFLES TOO produced a big first up effort and he dug in late to hold off a rival that got a much better trip. Off that strong performance I'll give him the nod to repeat. (6) ALL WRAPPED UP drops again and while he has won 15% of his starts so far in 2022, he is hard to trust at a short price because he often falls victim to trip and pace; your call. (4) SAYLOR, winner of three of his last six, adds Lasix after trotting a 30 3/5 kicker last week. He has upset potential in here. (9) I GOT THE LOOKS probably takes back, sit, and rallies this time; using on the bottom.

Race 6: Pop-Up series Leg 2 for horses that have started for a purse of $10,000 or less in 1 of L4 AE 1st leg starters - Pick 5

Tough race here to kick off the late Pick 5. (7) ILLGETMYOWN THANKS was picked off very late in the mile as the 2 to 1 choice last week now he gets a better post. I'll give him the nod. (5) WILDRIVERBUMBLEBEE had a nice comeback race and his best wins this, but his driver is 1 for 27 at Mohawk Park in 2022, so I’d demand a price. (8) GOOD AND SWEET raced okay last week when aggressively handled now he gets regular pilot Kelly back. I could see him winning this at a price. (1) UF BETTORS HANOVER should get a setup for his late kick, pass a few rivals, and land in the Super.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD LEG 1 2YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 4

$55,000 London Selected buy (5) STONEBRIDGE BOMBER looks primed for a top effort on debut and I'll give him a slight nod over (1) DOWEDEALINANDWHY who couldn't have won any easier at 19 to 1 on debut but now draws the tricky rail post. (6) WHAT AN ANGEL closed willingly without threatening in debut. He is worth a look at a price for the bottom of the exotics. (8) DEADLINE HALL, another who wasn't asked to do much on debut, could improve enough to take a slice here.

Race 8: Pop-Up series Leg 2 for horses that have started for a purse of $10,000 or less in 1 of L4 AE 1st leg starters

(6) BETTORBEFLYIN was good last week but the winner was much better and couldn't be caught. He should be tough in here racing on the engine or in the pocket; top call. (5) DRAGON ENERGY flew late to just miss. He will probably be the one to hold off late. (4) ALEX HAVING FUN was a decent 3rd in a fast race for this class and he is in with a shot tonight. (3) LEGAL BETTOR can land in the exotics in this second start off the Arsenault claim.

Race 9: NW $20,000 L5 or $30,000 L10 or NW $130,000 LT AE: MW $12,000 in 2022

(1) P L OPPORTUNITY looked terrific in the post parade and scoring down last week and she followed it up with a blowout win. I'll call this peaking mare to repeat. There isn't much doubt that (2) PEMBERTON is the best horse in here but he comes off two breaks and the trainer takes the lines tonight. I can see him being driven carefully and rallying late for a share, the #1 goal being to get a clean line down. (3) FASHION FRENZIE makes his four-year-old debut coming off a sensational sophomore campaign and he looks ready to make some noise; using. (6) MACALLAN continues to race well but this is a bit of a stacked NW $20K L5 field. I'll use him on the bottom.

Race 10: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of L4

(6) MISTER MAGIC was victim of bad racing luck last week, getting stuck on bad cover and forced to move wide early. He closed like a rocket to just miss and he gets top call here. Price is gone now, though. (3) TREASURED TEE races best for McNair and I could see him tripping out racing near the front tonight; using. (1) GLOBETROTTING is a classy mare that stacks up well vs. these and she adds Lasix but I wonder if she'll need one having been on the shelf for five months. I'll use her underneath. (10) COOL CLIFFORD barely held off a horse that came back to finish 9th in his next start. I'll bet against him in this spot from the 10-hole. (7) ESQUIRE is always in the exotics mix. Toss him on the bottom of exotic wagers.
