(10) MASSTERCRAFT just took a new lifetime mark in the OSS Mid Season Consolation and he is capable of overcoming the widest post if the intent is there in this NW3 race tonight; slight nod. (2) SOUTHERN MONI closed some ground on iron tough Mister Magic in his local debut and she will likely be sharper now. Trainer Macintosh has been running hot recently and I’ll put this filly on my Pick 5 ticket. (5) FLIRTY DANCER, winner of two of her last three, is in solid form and she will likely find another good trip tonight; using. (9) VALUABLE MISS hit her best stride in her last couple of starts but she shows a stale date and Henry opted for the choice over her. I think she rallies from the back for a small share tonight.

Race 2: NW $17,500 L5

(2) HP MAMA B raced well in defeat at this level two starts back then she was involved in a wild early pace in a sub-1:50 mile in the Miss Versatility. She has a big shot tonight. (6) MRMAYOR HANOVER raced well in a fast mile most recently. He might get covered up following the choice this week and that gives him a shot. (4) RICKY RESOLVE has never been better but he loses Jamieson this week. I’ll use him underneath. (1) DEALIN WITH DEWEY will likely sit a better trip racing close to the front here moving inside and stick around for a share.

Race 3: NW $4,550 L5 or NW $12,750 L10 AE: OPT. CLM. $25,000. AE: NW $27,000 IN 2023-24

(6) LINDYS IRISHCREAM took a ton of action last week and she closed well racing one class lower. She gets Henry now for a hot barn and she might be ready to fire a big effort in this third start back; price play. Veteran (8) O NARUTAC PERFETTO is having a big year having won nine times already and Sorrie has been a good partner for him. I expect an aggressive try here and he is in with a decent chance. (4) STORM TROTTER drops here and he will likely wake up and land a share vs. these. (9) CHARMBO PRINCE was much better in his past two starts, most recently blowing up the tote board in the Vic Hayter Memorial. He will likely blast and stick around for a share.

Race 4: 3 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS: PROSPECT SERIES STARTERS IN 2024 - Pick 4

(6) D A WICKED SHINE raced great in defeat last week, post and trip worked against him. He draws best now and he can turn the tables on razor sharp (3) TRICKY MCWICKY who did well to swing wide and chase down the choice in the lane. (8) MELS LEGACY has a nice late kick and he can use it to take another share here. (4) LAMBORGHINI LOU is another that figures to be part of the Tri or Super.

Race 5: WINNERS OF 3 (FM 4) BUT NOT MORE THAN 5 (FM 6) OR $80,000 LIFETIME

This is a good betting race to end the early Pick 5 with a few live possibilities. I’ll side with (1) COLD SNAPS, who will likely fall into another good trip racing in the outer flow in the back 1/2. (4) MYRETIREMENTDREAM probably deserves to have more than one win this year and he fits well in this spot where he has a decent chance to get that second victory; using. (3) BBC SPORTSBOY won as expected racing off the Gillis claim and if he finds another sub-1:54 mile tonight he will be in the mix again. (7) WILLOWTIME gets McClure back tonight and he is in the exotics mix here.

Race 6: 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS: GRASSROOTS STARTERS. AE: Ont. Sired 3 YO NW $23,500 IN 2024 - Pick 5

(4) FABULOUS FREDDIE likely would have won last week if he had racing room but he got locked up tight in the pocket for the entire stretch drive. He gets another chance here. (3) STONY BURKE showed some grit chasing down a leader that looked like he got away from him after stealing a cheap 3/4. He should contend again vs. these; using. (1) NZURI was a strong winner at 1 to 5 and he is yet another in with a shot that merits a look for multi-race tickets. (5) SLAYIN THEDAY AWAY in his first start for Montini was easily handled by Nzuri. I’ll use him underneath here.

Race 7: NW $25,000 L5 AE: NW 9 or $110,000 LIFETIME. AE: NW $85,000 IN 2024 (MIN 10 STARTS) TO DRAW OUTSIDE - Pick 4

(1) GHOSTLY CASPER got an impossible trip in the Hambo Maturity and he was still beaten only four lengths. His class should prevail in this spot. (8) HANDSOME SEBASTIAN raced well in two straight at the top class and Henry is a good partner for him. I can see him clearing before the 1/4 and playing catch me if you can; using. (7) FRANKS ANGEL drops but he will likely find one or both of the top two choices too tough; using underneath. (2) BRACE FOR LANDING has really improved in his past few starts and he should be good for a share vs. these.

Race 8: NW $9,100 LAST 5 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000

(5) PEMBERTON was given an easy trip in his qualifier racing over a sloppy track rated off by two seconds now he meets a field that he should beat; top call. (1) SAFE CONDUCT drops for this fourth start back and he figures to be the main threat to the choice in this spot. (6) LOCATELLI has raced first-over in his past two starts, last time trying to close into a 27 3/5 kicker which was mission impossible. I think rallies off a helmet this time and lands in the money. (4) ALL GAS NO BRAKES is racing well but he is probably limited to another slice in this spot.

Race 9: NW $4,000 L5 AE: STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS L5

(5) PALLADIUM HANOVER wins last week if he gets clearance one second earlier in the stretch. I’ll stick with him here. (4) BETTOR OF THE WEST was sharp in victory in his local debut despite missing close to three weeks. He could be even sharper now getting on a seven day rotation; using. (2) MAGICAL ARTHUR will likely get a better trip starting from the inside tonight. He is in with a chance racing from close range. (1) TYPHOON STRIDE N should be closer tonight facing easier; using underneath.

Race 10: HORSES THAT HAVE STARTED FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS IN ONE OF LAST 3 STARTS. AE: N/A $925 P/S IN LAST 5 STARTS

(2) MAPPOS LION has always done his best work racing on or near the lead and he hasn’t been pointed that way in his two local starts. This is a good spot for a speed try and I think Ratchford sends him; top call. (1) FOREFATHER comes off a sharp effort trying to chase down a strong leader and he fits well vs. these; using. (3) KANSAS PANIC had little chance trying to race first up in a 1:50 mile last week. He has a better shot here; price look for the late multis. (7) TORONTO has been facing a steady diet of tougher company. He will likely get aggressive in this spot and he’s not out of this. (4) COLIGNY HANOVER interestingly attracted a claim from Merner last week. He can improve here, but I prefer to use him underneath.
