Race 1: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES Grassroots 3YO Fillies **$100,000 Guaranteed Pick 5**

(6) MIAMI SEELSTER didn't get the best trip last time but she did finish willingly. She gets a good draw here and she rates highly with these; top call. (10) DOCS DELIGHT was solid beating easier and while she draws poorly here, she is still in with a decent chance. (5) LA PETITE GRISE has never missed finishing in the Exacta and she comes in off a good effort in the slop Thursday night in Ottawa. She should be in the mix vs. these. (7) COUNTERCURRENCY is another invader with a good record who is worth a look for the exotics.

Race 2: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000

(5) ISLAND BEACH BOY was forced to move or likely be trapped in past the 1/2 and he paced a wild 26 1/5 third 1/4 to open up, only to tire very late and get nailed. He is obviously sharp and he will be tough with a slightly easier trip. (7) TWIN B HEARTHROB is in an easier spot here and he should be a big threat from close range; using. (3) SOUTHBEACH HANOVER was part of the early pace in the race the choice comes out of and he didn't fare terribly considering there were no breathers. He is in the mix with these. (2) TWIN B FIGHTER is another that drops out of Gold company that can land in the Tri or Super.

Race 3: NW3 (F&M5) or $40,000 (F&M $50,000)

(1) HEAVENSDOOR HANOVER is stuck on two wins, but he was very good here in a NW5 race last week and if he brings that same effort tonight, he will be tough vs. these. (4) MUSCLE DYNASTY provided cover for the choice in that race and he is another that should be right there in this easier field. (10) WARRAWEE WHISPER has improving form and he could provide some multi-race value starting from the 10-hole. (7) MACALLAN has a solid record and comes in off a good qualifier. Give him a look for the bottom of the exotics.

Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES Grassroots 3YO Fillies - Pick 4

(8) GOOD NIGHT MOON just broke her maiden but she is improving rapidly and she gets the nod in her first Grassroots try. (6) SPITTIN CHICKLETS is another who has clearly improved and from her good draw she should be a big threat tonight. (10) SHIATZU SEELSTER was game in victory at Georgian Downs and she has enough gate speed to get position leaving the gate; using. (2) KATYS DELIGHT figures to get a good following trip here and she can take a small share.

Race 5: F&M Claiming $18,000 for NW $70,000 LT

(5) ROCKINWITHCUSTARD left and made front, took a shuffle then lacked room in the lane until it was too late. She gets top call here in against many of the same mares. (4) TUGGINGONCREDIT drew a claim last week so she was sent hard and she went too fast in the opening 1/2. She gets Roy in the bike this week and she should rebound here with a better effort. (7) HALLSGLENSMAVIS was part of the early pace and she finished slightly ahead of the choice. She too should improve with the expected pace to be slower in this race. (8) KOUNNIS is always around the money and she should be part of this Super.

Race 6: 5YO and Younger NW3 or $51,000 - Pick 5

(7) LANCASTER BOMBER was out in 55 3/5 and home in 55 flat to win while being parked for 95% of the mile last week. That was a remarkable effort from post 10 now he gets a shorter field and the call to repeat. (1) TWIN B EAGLE is fast yet erratic. If he behaves for this entire mile, he is capable of knocking off the choice. (6) BETTIM AGAIN rode a good trip to a 2nd-place finish vs. a hot colt and he can be in the exotics mix here. (4) CENTURY GRIZZLY can pass a few of these and land in the Super.

Race 7: F&M Claiming Handicap $12,000 to $16,000

(5) BEHAVENMYSELF rebounded to take her third win in four starts and I'll give her a slight nod in a race where there are a few that have a good chance to win. (6) COLD CREEK LACEY is hot and hard to leave out from a good post. Henry takes a return drive on (4) HANNAH ON THE VIRG who was first up last week and she is worth a look at a price tonight. (8) KIWI FOCUS N fits this class well and she should be a speed threat again, this time at a better price.

Race 8: NW $8,500 L5 or $17,000 L10 AE: OPT CLAIMING $25,000 - Pick 4

In a similar scenario last August where he was shipping in from the B tracks, (4) VEYRON took a big win here at a square price and I could see history repeating tonight. (1) ZIG ZAG gets bet every week but he is probably in the best spot vs. this group and he should be right there; using. (8) O NARUTAC PERFETTO is obviously one of the best ones in here but he will likely be dependent on pace and trip starting from out there so I'd need a price. (5) STORMONT VENTNOR is good right now and he can rally for a share.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES Grassroots 3YO Fillies

(6) VOLUPTUOUS is two seconds the best on paper and she will be hard to beat here at a very short price. (5) SHES A SASSY BEACH was much better at Georgian Downs despite parking the mile and she is worth a look for the Exacta at a price. (7) CELIA BAYAMA is improving and she should be in this Tri or Super racing close up throughout. (1) MARETRAFFICCONTROL can sit a trip and work her way into the top four, adding some value to the Super.

Race 10: NW $12,500 L5 or $24,000 L10 or NW $120,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $35K

This race should come down to class droppers (3) REFI and (1) GRANDMA HEIDI. I'll side with the former who could sit a perfect pocket trip following the choice. (2) I GOT THE LOOKS can rally for another good share in this spot. (4) DONATOVER rarely misses the board and he should be good for another slice off a following trip.

Race 11: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES Grassroots 3YO Fillies

(7) GAME OF SHADOWS likely needed her first start back and even then, she made an eye-catching third-quarter move before tiring late. I expect a speed blast from Roy here. (4) WESTERN WISH was lights out in her first start here and she should be a big player here if she is fully recovered from sickness. (6) SAULSBRROK OLYMPIA has been on a tear this year and while this is a tougher spot, she's not out of this. (9) A BETTER GAME is likely to get a better trip than she did in the Kin Pace final and she's another that's in the mix here. (3) ARDYNE GRAYSEE is improving and she should be part of the High-5 tonight.
