Meet Stats: 29 - 105 / $160.80 (-$49.20) Best Bets: 5 - 10 / $14.20 (-$5.80) Spot Plays: 2 - 9 / $15.60 (-$2.40) Best Bet: ROYALTY DEAL (3RD) Spot Play: ON THE SLY (6TH) Early Pick 5: 5,7,9/6/5/3,5,7,9/4,5,7,8 = $9.60 Late Pick 5: 5,7/4/6,9/2,5,6,7/4,5,7 = $9.60 Early Pick 4: 3,5,7,9/4,5,7,8/5,7/4 = $32 Late Pick 4: 4/6,9/2,5,6,7/4,5,7 = $24   Race 1: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT   **$100K Guaranteed Pick 5** (5) LOVIN LIFE HANOVER didn't do much with the cover he was provided with last week but the winner and second-place finisher of that race have already come back to win and finish second again so maybe the company was just too tough. This looks like an easier spot and he gets a slight nod. (9) ONE TRIX PONY is capable in this spot if she can stay trotting. Her gait issues are an obvious concern so demand a price. (7) SPLASH OF HALO should be more aggressive in his second start and he is an obvious contender in this field where few have any form to speak of. (8) HEAVY DUDE E brings a perfect record to Mohawk Park and he isn't out of this although I prefer to use him underneath in this spot. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M Claiming Handicap $12,000 to $16,000 (6) BEHAVENMYSELF is on a roll and she draws perfectly here. A threepeat looms. (2) KIWI FOCUS N rode an inside trip to an Exacta finish behind the choice and a similar trip is very possible here. (5) REAR VIEW had every chance in the lane but she couldn't get to the choice. I'll predict another small share for her. (4) LADIES FROM HELL brings good form in from Grand River and she picks up McNair. She can take a slice here. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: NW5 (F&M7) or $75,000 (F&M $87,500) (5) ROYALTY DEAL has been sharp as a tack in his two wins and driver Macdonell has also been hot. She will be hard to beat here at a short price. (10) BRONZE YANKEE has the speed to go with these and he will be a big price again coming off a break in stride; longshot look. (9) TYMAL RIGGS produced a lifetime-best winning effort last week and he is an obvious one to use in the exotics. (7) CHARMBO PRINCE should get a spot near the front early and stick around for a small share. Race 4: 4YO NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4 (3) HURRYMIKI HANOVER was in no hurry early in his second start but he did pass some rivals late. He should get what he needed out of that start and no one in here is pacing in 1:51 2/5; top call. (9) DR JOE was hammered at the mutuels last week and he closed mildly, getting the clean line that he needed in the process. It will be no surprise if he blasts this week and he merits a close look for multi race tickets. (5) RHODENA ROAD comes out of a nice debut effort and he can take another slice here. (7) UCANTTOUCHTHIS is another that raced decently last week that’s worth a look for the Tri and Super. Race 5: F&M CLAIMING $18,000 for NW $63,000 LT (7) HALLSGLENSMAVIS was heavily-bet last week and she raced well but was overtaken late by (8) MCDELICACY who was perfectly tripped out by Macdonald. These two should be battling it out again for the win. (4) KOUNNIS made a middle move to the front but she couldn't seal the deal. Can she beat the top two choices with a different trip? I’d need a price to find out. (5) WATCH MY SPEED is always there early and she should stick around to land in the Tri or Super. Race 6: Claiming Handicap $12,000 to $15,000 - Pick 5 (7) ON THE SLY spun his wheels racing first-over trying to chase down a leader that no one could gain on. That's not his trip and I expect a Henry speed blast in a race where he has a much better chance to clear; top call. (5) GLOIRE DREAM is certainly capable at this level but his gait issues are worrisome. He could get heavily bet dropping into a claimer; your call. (8) Y A MUSCLE MASS picks up Filion here in a spot where he should get position early and he is an exotics factor. (6) UNDERCOVER STRIKE was only a couple of lengths behind the choice last week. Give him a look for the Super. Race 7: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $25,000 LT - Pick 4 (4) POWERTRAIN uncorked a wicked mile winning his debut and he will be hard to deny at a short price tonight. (3) JIM BLUE unleashed a powerful assault on the leader starting at the 3/8ths pole and he paced strongly the rest of the way in an impressive effort. He will need to be faster to knock off the choice. (8) MR CHARISMA was dead game despite being hung out a long way and he can take a slice here. (2) METALLICA tripped out but he was a strong winner and he should contend again racing from close range. Race 8: Claiming Handicap $8,500 to $12,000 (6) UF BETTORS HANOVER blasted right to the front last week against tougher and he could get a great trip racing near the front in what should be an easier spot for him; top call. (9) ALWAYSYOURWAY just missed in a solid effort and he figures to be right there vs. these. (3) COOL ROCK will be passing rivals last as usual but I prefer to use him underneath in this spot. (7) OUTLAW KISMET was in good form before racing stopped and he is worth using in the Super in this field. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 9: NW $18,000 L5 or $31,500 L10 or NW $120,000 LT or NW1 in 2020-2021 (5) DERF HANOVER had two even races in the top class now it's go time. I expect McNair to be blasting with him leaving from a good post and he gets the nod. (6) DREAM NATION has a similar profile as the choice and he should be in the hunt throughout in this field; using. (7) COMBS HANOVER is on a roll but these are tougher and his win streak could get snapped this week; using underneath. (2) REFI is worth a look for the exotics making the same class drop as the two choices. Race 10: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $25,000 LT (4) CADILLAC BAYAMA was the only one gaining on sharp P L OZZY on 6/22 and he looks solid against this lineup. (5) TRUFFLE DOG is capable of better and he has a chance to get into the race starting from the middle of the gate tonight; using. (7) CODYS WATCHING fits better vs. these and he should be a factor in this spot; using underneath. (2) PERFECTBOY HANOVER hung around for a share while chasing a winner that was blazing around the track. He should be part of the Super. (1) STONEBRIDGE REX can be closer with a better trip but I'm not sure he'll get it starting from the rail.
