(5) HANG ON BABY is another that got a useful tightener in for this. She is capable of upsetting in this spot. (4) MUSCLE UP THE GOLD has improving form and she should be in the exotics mix here.

This is a race that (3) ROYALTY DEAL should win after facing the likes of Atlanta last weekend but she will likely get overbet. (4) ALL WRAPPED UP motored between horses late to get up for 2nd last week and he should be closer early tonight leaving from the 4-hole; using. (6) STAY CLOSE has been hot recently but this is a tougher spot; using underneath. (2) P L OPPORTUNITY will likely show speed after trying it first up last week. He should be in the Tri or Super.

Race 3: Pop-Up series: Starters for a purse of $10,000 in 1 of L4

(2) YOURETHEONE made two moves on his way to a powerful win that established a new life's mark last start and off that effort he gets the call to repeat here. (7) GOOD AND SWEET gutted out a fast win at Georgian and he fits well in this spot; using. (9) BETTORBEFLYIN got a dream setup and capitalized to take a fast new speed badge. I think he rallies for a slice this time. (5) THRILLING TIMES is worth a look for the exotics on the barn change to Moreau.

Race 4: NW $9,000 L5 or $20,000 L10 AE: Starters for a purse of $16K or less L3 AE: OPT CLM $35,000 - Pick 4

(5) I GOT THE LOOKS has reached peak form and he was an impressive first up winner here last week; call to repeat. (4) ONLY FOR JUSTICE failed to convert as chalk last week, but no one was beating white-hot Macallan. He is in with a decent chance here. (6) RITSON flew late last week and he is rounding into his best form. He should be in the exotics mix again. (7) LAZZARO, 3rd to the choice last week, should be part of the Tri or Super here racing from close range.

Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Leg 2 3YO Trotting Fillies

(8) SAINT ANTOINE looked good vaulting off cover to win going away last week and she gets the call to repeat in her initial Grassroots attempt here. (10) KIKIKAWA was also impressive winning last week after getting spooked and breaking at the 1/2 in her debut. She is a threat despite drawing widest. (9) MAGIC MAGGIE was given some time off after being used hard and failing as the chalk in leg 1 of the Grassroots. I think she sits and rallies for a share tonight. (3) GRACE lost her regular driver to Magic Maggie tonight. I think she lands on the edges.

Race 6: NW5 (Ont. Sired 6) or $80,000 ((F&M $100,000) - Pick 5

(4) WARRAWEE WHISPER gets Macdonald back in the bike after breaking stride and I'll give him the nod in a race where he could get gifted a soft trip on the engine by the sophomore stakes colts whose primary goal could be to get a tightener in and close ground in the back 1/2. (5) LEXUS KODY is fast enough to contend with these and his price should be good in this 2022 debut; using. (3) ESPLOSIONE and (7) WORLD AT WAR DEO are both capable of winning here, but intent and tactics will play a role in the outcome. This is a race where it makes sense to go price shopping.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Leg 2 3YO Trotting Fillies - Pick 4

(6) STORMONT MOLLY was tremendous winning a Grassroots race here two starts back then she got a useful tightener in against the boys. I don't think her closing price will be anywhere close to the 9 to 2 morning line quote. (3) SILVER DIAMOND stayed sharp chasing dominant Baby Longstocking around the track twice and she doesn't have to face that rival tonight. She is an obvious threat here. (8) CALM COOL COLLECTED race evenly here on Thursday night. He is worth a look for a share in this spot.

Race 8: Pop-Up series: Starters for a purse of $10,000 in 1 of L4

(7) CENTURY HANNIBAL raced terrific in defeat last time and he deserved better. He is a clear top pick and a single for me in this spot. (2) ALEX HAVING FUN rallied well into a strong wind last Saturday and he fits well vs these; Exacta factor. (4) ROYAL RENEGADE comes off a nice win at Grand River but this is tougher. I see him rallying for a slice. (8) MR MACH JIMMY is another that should be passing rivals late that can land in the Tri or Super.

Race 9: OPEN

(2) FORBIDDEN TRADE raced himself into top shape and now that he's there, that spells trouble for his rivals. A threepeat looms. (4) HEY LIVVY had no shot from the 10-hole in the Armbro Flight. She has beat the boys before and she can be a threat tonight. (3) MACALLAN couldn’t be any sharper and he can take a share facing the best trotters on the grounds tonight. (7) PATRIARCH HANOVER will likely rally late and wide for another slice tonight.

Race 10: Pop-Up series: Starters for a purse of $10,000 in 1 of L4

Tough race here to finish off the late multi-race tickets. (7) DM JOHNWICK made two moves before tiring when facing better now he gets McClure, who chose him over another in here. I'm expecting a better trip and result tonight. (2) CROSSCUT raced better when he returned to a 7-day cycle last time and he is worth a look here for Pick 4 and Pick 5 tickets. (9) ILLGETMYOWN THANKS has been firing fast kickers and Macdonald will likely put him into play early here; using. (1) DRAGON ENERGY, 3rd the last two times he raced in Pop-Up dashes, can take a slice here. (3) ISITFRIDAYYET should go better here. I see him flashing speed and hanging around for a small share.
