Late Pick 5: 1,4,10/3,6,8/2,5,6/2,3,7/2 = $16.20

Race 1: NW $18,000 L5 or $28,000 L10 or NW $120,000 LT AE: 4YO Mares **GTD $75,000 Pick 5**
(7) P L MATT made his first mistake since changing barns and his stable continues to run hot. His price likely goes up here, so I'll give him the nod in a contentious opener. (2) ONLY TAKE CASH gets into the race only because she is a four-year-old mare and she certainly isn’t out of place here; using. (8) STEUBEN HANOVER couldn't chase down Refi who inherited the lead at the head of the lane, but that was another sharp effort and he is another in with a shot here. (9) PERFETTO drops but draws worst. I’d demand a price here.
Race 2: Claiming $30,000
(5) OCEANVIEW MAGNUM was very sharp winning last week and in this short field he should be tough to beat tonight. (6) LONE WOLF TERROR was flat last week but he has fewer horses to pass here so he could go forward this week. (2) P L IDAHO often shares but hasn't won in a while; using underneath. (4) JAYDENS PLACE should improve in this spot but he is another that may be best used on the bottom.
Race 3: 3YO NW1 or $7,000 LT
(8) HAYEK is quite obviously the fastest horse in here and he goes for the hottest connections in the world; Pick 5 single. (3) SEBASTIAN DUHARA is worth a long look for the Exacta on the driver change alone. (1) REMEMBER TITANS comes off a sharp effort and he should land in this Tri somewhere. (5) SPARTAN GENERAL finished behind a promising colt in his debut. Give him a look for the Tri and Super.
Race 4: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT – Pick 4
(3) BETTER TAKE IT was a game 2nd to a colt that came back to win so easily in 1:52 flat that it looked like a training mile. He gets top billing here. (10) TRUFFLE DOG gets the Steacy stable's main catch driver coming in off a nice win at Georgian Downs and he is an interesting price option here. (4) CANTFINDABETTORMAN is capable of better. Perhaps he just needed a race coming off the break. (6) MENLO PARK is usually around the money and he should find his way into the Super in this spot.
Race 5: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $33,000 LT
(2) IDEAL PERCEPTION was picked off very late by a sharp rival last week. This race shapes up as a battle between him and (9) NIGHT WATCHMAN who played giant killer last week beating the choice's stablemate. A strong case could be made for either of these colts. (3) BEYOND BETTER impressed in the spring, but is he developed enough to pace in 1:50 coming off the shelf? I'd demand a price here. (7) CAPTIVATE HANOVER was good when third to a potential monster in his seasonal debut but he will likely be at a tactical disadvantage here; using underneath.
Race 6: 3YO Fillies NW1 or $7,000 LT – Pick 5
(10) ALPINA didn't have much chance of cutting into a 28-flat final 1/4 in his sophomore debut. She can go forward here and I'll give her the nod over (1) MODERN MASS who had it all his own way on the engine last week but couldn’t seal the deal. (4) ZAKARINA was cutting into the winner's lead late but it was too late. She is another who could take this with the right trip. (7) LASS SHOT had a decent debut and she could hit the ticket at another big price.
Race 7: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000 LT
(8) REAGAN BLUE CHIP was overtaken by the pocket-sitter last week, but he still managed to drop two seconds. He should be tough in here. (6) TEAM BEST chased a sub-1:50 pacer around the track in a good effort, He may get the sweet pocket ride behind the choice here; using. (3) SUNSHINE LIST looked good winning his debut and he probably won't get used much here stepping up a level. I'll include him as a price option. (1) WELL ELL should pass some of these late; using on the bottom. .
Race 8: NW $30,000 L5 or $150,000 LT AE: 4YO
When (5) HEY LIVVY races like she did last week, she can beat any trotter WEG has to offer. I'll take her here to topple millionaire (6) FORBIDDEN TRADE who might need a race or two to reach peak form. (2) RUN DIRECTOR is an obvious threat if he stays flat this time; using. (7) R FIRST CLASS should come on late again for a minor award.
Race 9: NW $5,000 L5 or $10,500 L10
(7) MACH CODE beat easier last week, but he looked the winner every step and required no urging from driver Young; call to repeat. (2) FASHIONONTHEBEACH classes up well vs. these. He could pop right away vs. these. (3) BETTER MOONON OVER could sit in the choice's pocket and that makes him a threat on the class drop. (5) FREDDY BEAR is also worth a look on the drop, but he often finds himself out of position early; using on the bottom.
Race 10: NW $11,000 in last 5
(2) BAUTISTA exits a salty NW $16,500 L5 and he is one of few that this barn has sent out that hasn’t won since returning from the break. He looks good vs. these. (1) KNIGHT ANGEL was better last week, and this should be an easier spot for him, too; Exactor factor. (4) KAMERAN HANOVER was picked off late by a sharp rival last time. He certainly isn't out of this. (8) B YOYO drops again, but from out there I'll be using him underneath only. (7) ST JAMES GATE should be passing a few of these late to take a slice.
