Meet Stats: 289 - 935 / $1,569.10 (-$301.90) Best Bets: 49 - 89 / $166.00 (-$12.00) Spot Plays: 28 - 89 / $182.00 (+$4.00) Best Bet: ONLY FOR JUSTICE (9TH) Spot Play: LESTENPERCENT (8TH) Early Pick 5: 2,3,4/2,3,5,8/5,6,7/3,5/4,9 = $28.80 Late Pick 5: 2,5,6/4,8/2,5,7/2/1,2,4,5,6 = $18 Early Pick 4: 3,5/4,9/2,5,6/4,8 = $24 Late Pick 4: 4,8/2,5,7/2/1,2,4,5,6 = $30 Race 1: NW5 (F&M7) or $87,000 AE: 4YO who are NW1 in L10 **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5** (3) TRUFFLES TOO was game in defeat to a class-dropping winner last week and I'll give him the nod here with the improved form he brings to tonight's race. (2) STAY CLOSE was a monster two starts back then perhaps affected by a dead track last time. Macdonald sticks with him over (4) WARRAWEE WHISPER, who just destroyed easier and took a new life's mark and also merits consideration shooting for the threepeat. (5) HIGHLAND MOWGLI is in good form and he should be in the exotics mix again. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: 2YO Colts and Geldings (3) PESO HANOVER, a $70,000 Lexington buy, looked good in his qualifier on 6/17 grinding first-over and wearing the leader down with only mild encouragement. I'll give him top billing here. (5) ENZO AGUELLO, a $17,000 Lexington purchase, qualified fastest and he is sure to get put into play by A Mac; using. (2) CARTER MICHAEL DEO was motoring late in his qualifier and he is another in with a shot here. (8) SNOWPEIRCER was another that was flying late but he ran out of racetrack now he draws widest; small share predicted. Race 3: 2YO Colts and Geldings (5) NAZARE, a $105,000 Harrisburg yearling and the first foal out of a Somebeachsomewhere dam, looks ready to roll for Menary who typically sends them out to win early; top call. (6) TWIN B SEAMONSTER, the choice's stablemate, brought $65,000 at the same sale and he also qualified impressively; using. (7) PRINCE SHADOW, a $50,000 Ontario Select yearling, is related to six winners of seven foals from the dam that have raced and Team Jamieson looks like they have him cranked up for a sharp debut. He is another option in a good betting race for rookie debuatants. (1) GUNG HO was bought for $120,000 at Lexington and he is a 1/2-brother to $810K earned Malicious. I prefer to use him underneath from his rail draw on debut. Race 4: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of L4 AE: N/A $2,300 P/S in 2021/22 -  Pick 4 (3) KAMERAN HANOVER faces his easiest field of the year and this should be a spot where Christoforou looks to send him right down the road; top call. (5) ARRAKIS jogged with McClure at the lines two starts back and he returns to the bike here. He is in with a decent chance. (2) HEAVENSDOR HANOVER appeared to lack room along the pylons at a critical point of the stretch drive last week. He is worth using underneath tonight. (6) TREASURED TEE likely flashes early speed and sticks around for a share tonight. Race 5: 3YO Colts and Geldings Grassroots Starters (4) HP MAESTRO has reached peak form and his barn is starting to heat up as it typically does during stakes season. He has a good chance of wiring these. (9) ARMSTEAD COLE raced well last time. Lacking room until the 1/8th pole, then flying late once free. Macdonald sticks and he should offer some value from post 9; using. (5) STAR POWER HANOVER and (7) KIPPER WHIPR SNIPR are both obviously capable but intent isn't always the same in these tweener races that fall in the middle of Grassroots starts as they are in those points races. I'd demand a price with either of these two. Race 6: 2YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 5 (2) BRACE FOR LANDING, 1/2-brother to $2.8 million earner Shake It Cerry, brought $155,000 in Harrisburg and The Stable sends them to the track to win early; top call. (5) DAHLQUIST HANOVER brought $210,000 at Harrisburg and the son of top sire Walner indicated that he is ready to roll in his sharp qualifying win; using. Homebred (6) AIRBORNE had a good qualifier and he draws best here. He is in the exotics mix. (1) NOTHINGBUTADREAMER, stablemate to the choice, looks fast enough to take a share on debut. Race 7: Pop-Up Series Final - Pick 4 This shapes up as a two-horse battle between (4) WESTFIFTYSECOND and (8) COOL CLIFFORD who have been dominant leading to this final; slightest nod to the former thinking he will be sharper tonight coming back to a 7-day schedule. (7) SHOSHIE DEO has 9 slices in 21 starts and she hasn't missed the board in this series. She should be part of the Tri in this final. (2) OVERSERVED raced better last week but he was no match for the winner. He should get another good trip racing near the front and land in the exotics. Race 8: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of L4 AE: N/A $2,300 P/S in 2021-22 (2) LESTENPERCENT took a ton of support on the barn change to Moreau last week, then he squandered a win when he jumped it off as he was passing the leader in the lane. He can make amends if he stays flat tonight. (5) SAYLOR continues to race well and he can take long trips and keep coming. He is the one to beat. (7) LAZZARO was locked up tight for the entire stretch drive last week as the leader couldn't put away the outside challengers. He could get over bet off that trip, but he does figure in here. (6) I GOT THE LOOKS powered up late on the far outside, but he wasn't catching Saylor. He is in the mix again. Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter Race 9: NW $13,000 L5 or $24,000 L10 AE: NW $115,000 LT (2) ONLY FOR JUSTICE drops to a likely spot here and Christoforou should be looking to send him right down the road; top call. (6) ALL WRAPPED UP takes a multi-level drop tonight and he gets Filion in the bike. I can see him being more aggressive in this spot; using. (5) MACALLAN seems to work out a trip and fond his way into the win photo at any class and he is hard to toss right now. (1) P L OPPORTUNITY is razor-sharp coming off a lifetime-best score but I see him finishing behind the droppers here. Race 10: NW $3,000 L5 or $8,000 L10 AE: Starters for a purse of $9,000 or less L4 starts (5) CLEVER CHARACTER was game in defeat in a fast mile last week and the barn has been heating up lately; top call. (2) ILLGETMYOWN THANKS looks primed for a big effort in this third start back and dropping to the bottom level after finishing fast last week. He's hard to leave out here. (4) DENMARK SEELSTER has done well in three starts since switching to the McKibbin barn and he is another that is in with a chance here. (6) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE set big fractions then tired. I can see him sitting and rallying for a share tonight. (1) GOING FAST comes off an improved effort and he can sneak into this High-5.
