Race 1: 5YO and Younger NW $15,000 LT **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(1) WATCHMAKER was no match for a rival that was running off the screen in his season's debut in a Grassroots race, but he should have the carbon out of his engine now. He should go better here, and he gets the nod in the lid lifter. (5) TWIN B NATION will take lots of action here exiting a Grand Circuit event and his aggressive win two starts back makes him a top contender; using. (7) MIDNIGHT NATION is better when he follows a helmet, and he should be passing many of these in the lane. He is in with a chance. (10) SAUBLE ACE can fly late but he could be trying to pass them all. He may need a setup that won't materialize.

Race 2: Winners of 4 (F&M5) but not more than 6 (F&M7) or $80,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $60,000
(7) ESPLOSIONE raced great two starts back but Pikachu Hanover was just too good. He took a check vs. much better than these last week and he should have a big shot here - lands in his easiest spot in many weeks and he is hard to toss, but he could get overbet here. (1) CHULO was a strong winner here two starts back then over his head facing Jiggy Jog S. He should bounce back here, and he is a big threat. (3) SAFE CONDUCT won racing off a stale date, aided by a perfect drive and trip. He can be even sharper tonight and he is another in with a shot. (2) SHESTHELUCKYONE gets Macdonald here and she should be closing for a slice.

Race 3: Horses that have started for a purse of $15K or less in 1 of L4
(8) ALL WRAPPED UP was live last week, but he fell victim to racing luck following several mid race lead changes. If he had a clear lane to trot at the head of the land, he would have won. I'll stick with him tonight. (7) DEALIN WITH DEWEY was good last week, but the winner was simply dominant. He is in with a solid chance tonight. (2) ARRAKIS is sure to get a better trip here than he did in his last start at Flamboro. He is in the exotics mix. (6) CLEVELAND MASSIMO has a big kick on his best day, and he gets Macdonald; price look for the exotics.
Race 4: Horses that have started for a purse of $9K or less in 1 of L4 - Pick 4
(1) MERCENARY just jogged racing off the Waxman claim and he fires right back five days later. He could drop a few seconds here and he gets the nod. (10) HUNTER HILL was so good last week, setting big splits and fighting off challengers that post 10 might not matter here. He will be on my multi-race tickets. (5) BETTER BE GOUDA gets needed post relief, and he is another in with a shot here. (6) VANILLA MALTED ships in from Ottawa on a roll but I’m not sure he was beating much. Tab the tote for clues on this one.
Race 5: NW $4,500 L4 or $9,500 L8
(7) ARMOR SEELSTER was first up against tougher horses than these last week, and he should be the one to beat here. (5) PIRATE HANOVER paced two big miles in a row with no luck. He can win here if he gets a better trip; using. (6) P L OCTAVIUS is showing signs of improvement, but he needs a setup. I'd need a price on this one. More was expected of (8) ACAPULCO SUNBURN when he dropped to this class last week. I'll fade him tonight.
Race 6: Horses that have started for a purse of $15K or less in 1 of L4 - Pick 5
This race looks like it will set up for a closer, and I'll take a stab with (2) MARVIN HAGLER at a price. (1) FREE WILLY HANOVER looked good in his first start for Zeron. This is a tougher spot, but he will likely take a stalking approach this time and that could pay off. (3) HAMMER TIME is sharp and versatile, and he has as good a chance as any in here. (6) TREASURED TEE will likely be the one to catch but I can see him getting stung at some point. I'll use him underneath.
Race 7: CLM HDCP $12,000 to $16,000 - Pick 4
(2) POINTTO SWEET LOU is razor sharp right now and he seems guaranteed to get a lively pace to chase. Stepping up in class assures that he will be a good price and I'll give him the nod. (8) DREAMFAIR MOXY got past headstrong (9) ROYAL RENEGADE last week. These two will likely be 1-2 again at the 3/4 pole and they are both obviously in with a strong chance. (3) MISTER J R is around the money every week and he should be part of the Tri or Super again.
Race 8: NW $8,000 L5 or $14,250 L8 AE: OPT CLM $45,000
(2) ACTOR HANOVER had to wait for clearance in the lane last week and he was flying when he got it, but it was too late. He can win here with better racing luck. (8) SOMETIME SOMWHERE got the jump on the choice and held him at bay. He is the obvious danger looking for a repeat. (6) JABBERWOCKY's speed makes him dangerous, especially if he can take a breather at some point. He is another possibility here. (9) EAST END steps up but he has beaten better than these in the past. He can land a share.

Race 9: CLM HDCP $17,000 to $22,000
(6) SKYLAR goes back to Moreau who won twice with him in April and May, and he likely gets more aggressive here. I'll give him a slight nod over (1) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ who is in peak form right now. (8) REDNECK JIM jogged off a stale date for Team Cullen and he is a threat to double up here coming back faster. (5) PRIVATE SCOTT raced okay first up last week, and he can contend for another good share here.
Race 10: NW $1,950 L3
This is a good class for (6) STOP THE SHOOTIN and he should rally past these if he gets a reasonable trip. (1) HAIL CHRISTIAN N drops to the lowest class for this sixth start back and he should wake up in this spot; Exacta factor. (7) NUZZLE LOADER was put in an impossible spot in the amateur drivers race last time and he was live in the lane but way too far back. He can get a good piece of this. (10) BIG BULLY has a record of taking lots of small shares and he is worth using underneath with Macdonald in the bike. (8) NIGHT SHADOW is another dropper that should be in the exotics mix.
