(8) BETTING MARKER goes to Menary after being bought privately by a high-profile owner after his most recent win and he will likely drop several seconds here; top call. (2) CENTURY KOMODO takes a big drop here after facing some killers that raced in Saturday’s North America Cup eliminations. He is an obvious threat vs. these. (1) CHESTERMAN sat too long behind a dawdling pace last week and he had no chance of catching the winner. He could pop at a price here in a race that should feature a much faster early pace. (5) D A WICKED SHINE took a fast mark last week, but he won’t get the same trip here facing tougher; small share predicted.

Race 2: Winners of 4 (F&M5) but not more than 6 (F&M7) or $80,000 LT

(4) PASSARINO keeps lowering his lifetime mark racing at this level and he is the one to beat again this week. The choice gets a new challenger this week in (2) BARONESS HILL who was much improved last week and can be even sharper now in this second start back; using. (8) EDEN ONTHEHILL raced well first up against the choice last week and he should be part of the exotics again. (3) STONEBRIDGE BRAVO hasn’t missed the top four yet racing at this level. She likely sits another trip and shares.

Race 3: NW $5,750 L5 AE: N/A $1,595 P/S 2023 or 2024

(2) ROCKIN N TALKIN paced a nice back 1/2 last week now he gets a class drop and J Mac in the bike; down the road. (5) CODE CRACKER tried to leave from post 10 when he dropped in class last week but too many to his left has the same idea. He is well drawn to get a trip racing close to the lead and he is the other one that I’ll use in the Pick 5. (4) ILIKEMEBETTOR A should be tighter for this, and he is another that should get positioned near the front leaving the gate. He should be part of the exotics. (6) LETS GET PICKLED has raced well since being claimed two starts back and he is worth a look for the bottom of the Tri and Super.

Race 4: NW $10,850 L5 AE: NW $15,000 in 2024 - Pick 4

I thought (7) FLEURIE raced well in defeat last week and I’ll stick with her tonight. (2) MUSCLE FASHION has raced well fresh in the past and he is worth using here at what should be a square price because he may trip out racing near the front. (8) ALL WRAPPED UP came hard at the choice in the third 1/4 and he couldn’t go past. That move sealed both their fates and set the race up for a closer. I see him sitting back and rallying for a share this time. Veteran (1) OKEANOS can get a piece of this making his first start back.

Race 5: 5YO and younger NW2 or $30,000 LT

I don’t see many leavers in this race, but one gelding that figures to be blasting is (4) LOGAN BEHOLD and he may steal one on the lead here. (1) FOUR BY FOUR made a nice recovery from a break to finish 2nd to the choice and he is another that will likely be looking to get early position near the front. His best effort can win this. (10) CHALK HANOVER is on a roll now, but I wonder what kind of a trip he will get from post 10 racing between sires stake events. He can obviously win if he gets put into the race early enough. (7) WIKIPEDIA was better last week when 3rd to a dominant winner but if he deploys his typical style, he will likely be a victim of pace and trip. Demand a price.

Race 6: NW $5,750 L5 AE: N/A $1,595 P/S 2023 or 2024 - Pick 5

Every horse in this field drops from basically the same level, so in essence, it’s not really a class drop for any. (2) SMOKESTACK made a decent late charge when chasing a winning 1 to 9 shot last week and I’ll give him a slight nod in a tough race. (4) REACTOR NOW A figures to go better in this spot and he has a good post from which to blast and try to last. (1) CAPITANO ITALIANO just won in 1:51-flat two starts back and he could do here if the race falls apart late; using. (7) TORONTO fired a fast kicker last week, but he is 0 for 20 this year. I’ll use him underneath tonight.

Race 7: NW $24,500 L5 AE: OPT CLM $90,000 - Pick 4

(3) SOUTHWIND COORS was winning a Grand Circuit race here about a year ago and he should improve sharply on the class drop in this spot; top call. (10) MRMAYOR HANOVER is tagged for $90K here and he has been racing well even at the Preferred level recently. Jamieson will put him into play early and if he clears, he may never be caught. (6) FRANKS ANGEL is another one that should be better racing at this level and there is potential that he could get a great trip racing near the front; price look for the multis. (7) TOKYO SEELSTER has been right there in four straight starts but he will most likely take another slice tonight.

Race 8: 5YO and younger winners of 2 but not more than 5 or $45,000 LT

(1) LEAVE IT TO LEO raced well when 2nd to a big chalk last time. Leaving from the rail here, he probably makes a backstretch move to the front and leads them home from there. (2) SAULSBROOK IAN comes out of the same race, and he obviously can’t be ninth early in this short field. He should be the main threat. (4) TARQUINUS HANOVER smashed his lifetime mark on 5/11 but that was a month ago and he missed time due to sickness since. I’ll use him underneath here considering the stale date. (6) ENFORCER looked good on the lead in London until an equipment break caused him to go off stride. He can take a slice in this spot.

Race 9: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of L3

There is a lot of speed lined up on the outside of the gate here and I see the race setting up for a stalker. (4) JOHNNY BUCKSHOT, who won at this level two starts back fits that bill and he gets top billing. (8) R ROYAL PORT comes in off three blowout front end wins, and he will probably clear to the front by the time they reach the 1/4. From there he will likely be the one to catch. (6) CHULO is in good form now and he exits a fast race in a tougher class. He is another in with a shot here. (2) BELLA CAVALLA had broken equipment last time so that line is probably a toss. She should get a decent trip here and close for at least a share.

Race 10: NW $2,050 L3

(6) TYPHOON STRIDE N was live at a level similar to tonight’s two starts back but he got locked in a protracted duel that proved to be his undoing. He drops and draws best tonight, and he should be blasting and looking to lead all the way. (7) FOREFATHER fired a big kicker in his return race, and he can get a good share tonight. (9) FABRIZIO N goes back to trainer Auciello who last won with him and he qualified quickly for this. He is another potential speed threat. (3) RILKOFF took some early action last week and he closed well for a share. He should be part of the exotics again. (5) IM SPONGE WORTHY sat and rallied for a share last week and I expect more of the same here.
