$160,000 yearling buy (7) FRENCH PERFUME finished fast in her lone qualifier and I'll give her the nod at first asking here. (1) MERCUTIO was Grand Circuit placed in 2021 and he should have a god chance of breaking his maiden in this field; using. (5) TYMALPASSUBY is related to several winners and she is another that looks ready for a good performance on debut. Here is another possibility for the early Pick 5. (2) BARROOM BRAWL BOYS is possible for the exotics getting Roy in the bike over Toscani this week.

Race 2: NW $13,100 L5 or $28,000 L10 or NW $121,000 LT AE: Mares

(1) ALL WRAPPED UP takes a big drop here and he should be tough to beat in this spot. (8) H P MAMA B looks well-prepped for her four-year-old debut but she draws widest. If she gets put into the race, she will contend. (7) PHOENIX is another that should move up on the class drop. He is the third one that I'll use in the Pick 5. (2) MUSCLE FASHION should sit another good trip racing near the front and he can take a share.

Race 3: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $22,000 (F&M $30,000)

(1) ANGELS EXPRESS looks well-prepped for this sophomore debut and McClure should put her in action early here; top call. (5) ANGELONIA is another returnee from the Moore barn that looks ready to roll and last year's Harvest series winner should get a good trip racing near the front; using. (6) GLOBAL NEWS exits a tough race that featured a fast final 1/4. I can see her improving here; upset chance. (2) WEE JILL should be good for a share if she stays flat here.

Race 4: NW $6,000 L5 or $14,000 L10 - Pick 4

This is a much better spot for (6) HESOHOT HANOVER, who had little hope of closing from where he was as the winner accelerated the pace last week; top call. (2) HOLDIN ACES looked good winning on the barn and driver change as chalk last week and he should be a threat right back despite moving up in class. (9) CINDY LYNN probably wins last week if she gets clearance a split second earlier. She's in the mix here. (5) COOL CLIFFORD’s last couple of miles are decent and he rates a chance in this field. He is another possibility for early multi-race tickets.

Race 5: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT

(9) GOT THE GOLD, a $60,000 yearling buy with only one start at two, looks faster this year and she should have a good shot here if she gets put into the race. (5) BETTER SING IT might have been a bargain buy for $26,000 in Lexington judging by her lone sharp qualifying mile; using. (1) TALL DARK BEAUTY, 1/2-sister to Tall Dark Stranger, is worth a look on pedigree alone. (8) BET ON SANDY is a 1/2-sister to millionaire Speed Again; worth a look for the exotics with Macdonald taking the lines for this debut race.

Race 6: NW5 (F&M7) or $86,000 (F&M $100,000) LT- Pick 5

(5) L DEES PATRICK almost knocked off a big favorite last week and off that effort he gets the nod here. (4) AMAZONE DUHARAS had a good sophomore season and she fits well vs. these. She would be no surprise in this spot. (1) HIGHLAND MOWGLI came back to the races sharp and he should be in the exotics mix here. (2) HONE THE TONE is always around the money it seems. He is a good one to use underneath.

Race 7: NW $9,000 L5 or $26,000 L10

(7) H P ROYAL THEO bounces back down to the level where he was a winner two starts back and he is the one to beat in here; top call. (5) TRUFFLES TOO wasn't beaten far in that win by the choice and he should be a speed threat again if he stays flat this week; using. (6) MACALLAN looked good taking a new life's mark vs. easier but I'll use him underneath in this tougher spot. (9) KAMERAN HANOVER can improve enough to take a share on the class drop here.

Race 8: NW $3,000 L5 or $8,400 L10 - Pick 4

(4) DANCER HALL drops to the bottom and picks up the leading driver; now or never? (1) OKEANOS was a winner as the 1 to 5 favorite last time he raced this low. He can be an Exacta factor tonight. (2) WISHYOUDTELLME rallied well at a price at this level last week. He is worth a look at a price for the bottom of the exotics. (3) NEVER MIND N was first up with no success at this level last time. He can take a share if he gets a slightly better trip.

Race 9: FREE FOR ALL

(1) ONEY HALL shoots for six straight wins at the top class and he faces the same rivals that he keeps beating by open lengths. He can probably only beat himself at this point. (7) ONLY FOR JUSTICE's form is improved and I'm going to look for some value underneath with him. (2) SPARTAN GENERAL, a rallying 2nd to the choice last week, likely sits and rallies for anther share here. (5) DREAM NATION is another likely to rally late and make it into the Tri or Super.

Race 10: CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000

Hot (9) LEGAL BETTOR was re-claimed by Barrington last week and drawing wide should keep his price viable tonight; top call. (1) MACHIN A TRICK needed a clean line last week so he took back and rallied wide. He is in with an upset chance here. (6) AIR STRIKE paced a big mile to dominate easier. He's not out of this but I wonder if he would be overbet. (4) JULERICA is another worth a look racing off the Moreau claim in a race with several good options.

Race 11: NW $3,100 L5 or $9,500 L10

(2) POINTOMYGRANSON jogs on these on his best night and he had a useful tightener at Flamboro Downs. I expect an aggressive try here. (9) ROCKIN N TALKIN is an obvious threat dropping to the bottom here; using. (6) BAD EYE BILL jogged on the barn change and he was claimed by Auciello. He is in tougher here but he is worth using on late multi-race tickets. (7) AREUKIDDINME CABBIE should contend for a share dropping to the bottom level tonight. (1) DONTPOKETHEDRAGON should share vs. these moving inside from the 10-hole last week.
