(5) P L OPPORTUNITY was very good last week, closing fast to take 2nd behind a strong favorite and he gets top billing here. (2) ONEY HALL looked like he was going to give Logan Park a race last week, but he jumped it off in the lane. He is the obvious class of this race, but he has gone off stride several times in that same spot in previous starts, so I'd be careful to demand a price if you like him. (7) GIGONDAS is another that ran racing in the rain, and he fits here. He should take a share if he stays flat. (6) SHESTHELUCKYONE passes horses every race and she will be closing late here; using on the bottom.

Race 2: NW $4,900 L5 AE: NW $1,200 L3

(7) JJ XAVIER drops and moves into Barrington's barn, and he will likely offer a good price here facing rivals that are taking bigger drops; call to upset. (1) PIPEWRENCH CHARLIE is obvious here dropping several levels and Cullen will surely put him into play. He's hard to leave out at this level. (4) WHICHWAYTOTHEBEACH paced a qualifying mile that could blow this field away if he comes close to replicating it. I just wonder if he will get overbet. (3) MAD MAN HILL paced a big back 1/2 last week. He should be part of the exotics tonight.

Race 3: NW $8,000 L5 AE: Starters for a purse of $15K or less L3 or NW $12,000 in 2023

(3) MACALLAN has been facing a steady diet of tougher company and he stands a great chance to drop and pop tonight. (5) ITSTIMETOGOHOME is the other dropper in here that rates highly based on his most recent mile vs. better and he will probably look to lead all the way; using. (6) STAY CLOSE gets J Mac for this and they teamed up to beat similar in January. He is another in with a shot here. (4) COOL CLIFFORD comes off a decent first-over try and he should be in the exotics mix again here.

Race 4: NW $4,900 L5 AE: NW $1,200 L3 - Pick 4

(4) BETTORBEFLYIN qualified quickly for this return, and this is a field that he should beat. Getting McNair in the bike adds to his appeal; top call. (3) RESPECT OUR FLAG jogged at Flamboro Downs on Thursday night and he fits well vs. these. He should be a threat on the quick return. (7) SOUTHSIDE EDDY woke up with a much better try last week now he steps up a level. He should contend for a share. (8) COLIGNY HANOVER takes frequent shares, and he is sharp. He's a good one to use on the bottom tonight.

Race 5: 5YO and Younger winners of 2 (F&M3) but not more than 4 or $45,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO OPT CLM $50,000

Great betting race here with plenty of possibilities. I'll side with (3) BUSY MAKING MONI who looked good in defeat last week and typically races better off a helmet. I see him stalking the leaders and vaulting past late. (10) EDEN ONTHEHILL impressed powering down the middle of the track in the rain and he is sure to offer a good price here starting from the 10-hole. (2) STABLE GENIUS comes off two blowout wins at this level, and he is an obvious threat, but this is a tougher field, so I'd demand a price. (4) DAHLQUIST HANOVER is another that has been on a roll that is in with a good chance in a very competitive dash.

Race 6: NW $8,000 L5 AE: starters for a purse of $15,000 or less L3 or NW $12,000 in 2023 - Pick 5

(4) DEALIN WITH DEWEY had no chance last week because he got buried in traffic. Assuming he gets a more aggressive drive this time, he gets top billing. (6) GOLD EDITION has a decent chance to control this race from the outset and his speed makes him a threat; using. (7) MUSCLE FASHION was closing late last week but he ran out of racetrack. He should be good for at least another share in this spot. (3) MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE raced well in defeat last week but he couldn’t fend off a classy rival. He is in the exotics mix.

Race 7: 5YO and Younger winners of 2 (F&M3) but not more than 4 (F&M5) or $45,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000

(9) LINDYS IRISHCREAM was well-driven to take another win and she is the one to beat again here. (5) CARTER MICHAEL DEO was reeling the choice in last week and he is an obvious threat, but keep in mind his summer stakes schedule is the main goal before you take a short price. (6) DEVILS ARCH was good in the Spring series, but he was facing easier then. I'll use him underneath tonight. (3) CLEVELAND MASSIMO should close late to be part of the Tri or Super.

Race 8: CLM HDCP $17,000 to $22,000 - Pick 4

(7) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ showed a new dimension last week, leaving hard to get position and that new found tactical speed makes him extra scary; call to repeat. (9) SIR A raced well in defeat to the choice when claimed by Montini and he is the one to fear here. (5) ROYAL RENEGADE likely sets the pace early and sticks for another share tonight; using underneath. (3) SNAP TEST was 2nd behind a hot horse last week and he should be part of the Tri or Super.

Race 9: PREFERRED 2

(2) PATRARCH HANOVER couldn’t beat Logan Park, but then no one else could either. With that rival gone this week, this stallion gets top billing. (1) LOCATELLI should work out a good trip from the rail and he figures to be a threat tonight. (5) PERFETTO is on a roll and his best puts him right there with these. He will need to be faster tonight, but he could be up to it. (3) WARRAWEE XENIA is fast enough for these, but she surely has a steady diet of stakes on her schedule this year and there is no reason to go all out to win here. I'll use her underneath.

Race 10: NW $1,500 L3

(3) NIGHT SHADOW paced a 27 1/5 second 1/4 to make front and he held on well considering the fractions he cut. Moving inside improves his chances tonight, top call. (2) TYGA HANOVER’s comeback race was good, and he is fast enough to beat these. He should be the one to fend off late. (9) CAPITANO ITALIANO has had issues recently, but he fits with these, and he should go better in this spot. (4) ROSE RUN VORTEX was going good at London, but these are tougher; small share predicted.

Race 11: CLM HDCP $12,000 to $16,000

(9) DO YOU SEE IT has been lights out since being claimed by Waxman and he can win from just about anywhere. Post 9 should help his price; call to repeat. (6) SKYLAR was a no-doubt winner when claimed by Fellows and he should be a big threat right back considering how sharp he is now. (7) BETTOR NOTBITTER A couldn’t hold off Skylar last week but it's hard to fault his form. He will be forwardly placed early and that gives him a shot. (4) JIM STRIKESITRICH probably didn’t like the rain last week as he is quirky under ideal conditions. The track should be dry this time and he can factor in the exotics. (8) MR MACH JIMMY can close for a slice racing off the Montini claim.
