Race 1: NW $1,500 L3 **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(5) BROOKDALE MIKI fits well in this field and I think Henry blasts with him and wins either racing on the lead or from the pocket to take his first victory of 2024. (10) TALK RACY TO ME missed a month but he flashed speed vs. tougher. If he can clear from the widest post, he might forget to stop vs. these; using. (1) RICARDOSHILYSHALLY is another that is in easier here and I could see him tripping out from the rail and rallying late. I’ll use him at what should be a very good price. (3) CAPTAIN BUTLER will likely rally past some of these late to take a share.

Race 2: Winners of 4 (F&M5) but not more than 6 (F&M7) or $80,000 LT
(6) PASSARINO jogged at this level twice in a row before trying the Ontario Graduate series and he is the one to beat here. (5) STONEBRIDGE BRAVO tripped out to win by skimming the pylons last week, but it is noteworthy that she did it despite missing five weeks. She can be even sharper now, and she is the obvious threat. (2) SOUTHWIND DOMINO stole an easy opening 1/2 but he couldn’t seal the deal. I’ll use him underneath here. (4) EDEN ONTHEHILL was first up in that same race, and he finished evenly. He should be part of the Super.

Race 3: NW $4,000 L5 AE: NW $12,100 in 2024 (Min. 5 starts) AE: N/A $1,170 P/S or NW $31,000 in 2024
(4) STOP THE SHOOTIN drops off a decent effort where he closed ground continuously in the back 1/2. I think Henry puts him into action earlier in this race; top call. (7) THAT’LL BE TIGER could improve sharply racing off the Auciello claim here. He could add some value to the Pick 5. (6) SERIOUS DRAGON had no shot in a 1:49 1/5 mile racing off a break. He is in the mix here. (1) LARRY KARR is another dropper who can improve enough here to land in the exotics.
Race 4: NW $9,300 L5 or $19,000 L10 AE: NW $100 in 2024 (Min. 3 starts) - Pick 4
(1) FLEURIE got an impossible trip from a wide post last week now she moves inside and gets McNair back. That teamster won three races with the mare last year; price play. (5) LOCATELLI raced great from the 10-hole last week, closing relentlessly despite being out the route. Drawing much better here, he is the probable favorite and one to beat. (6) KAMERAN HANOVER is another that raced well, and he was closer than he typically is early in the mile. He is another in with a shot here. (7) KEVIN ANTHONY will likely pass a few of these late and land another share.
Race 5: NW $9,300 L5 AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. AE: N/A $1,615 P/S IN 2023/24
(1) POINTS NORTH should be able to get away better here starting from the inside and that improves his chances; top call. (9) BAYFIELD BEACH would have been closer last week had he not been interfered with. He is worth using at a price here. (8) REACTOR NOW A is the lone class dropper in here and he will likely get sent forward by McNair at the start. He’s hard to leave out. (3) MARSHALL ZHUKOV steps up off the claim but he has been racing well and he can take air. He can sneak into the exotics.
Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GOLD LEG 1. 3 YEAR OLD TROTTING FILLIES - Pick 5
(4) WILLYS HOME RUN provided a perfect trip to the rival that nailed her right on the line last time. I think she is best in here and she bounces back. (6) R LIZA is 2 for 2 this year and she is obviously faster at three. She figures to be the main threat again. (5) KINNDER HOTBLOOD has been racing great, but this is a big step up from beating Tea Lake and Fala. She will probably be fighting for scraps here. (2) P L RAINBOW DASH’s big late kick should get her a share here.
Race 7: NW $9,300 L5 AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. AE: N/A $1,615 P/S IN 2023/24
(3) ROCK AND TWIST is obviously better with Lasix as he produced an impressive late kick to score last week. Off that winning effort, he gets the call to repeat. (2) BEYOND BETTER is razor sharp and the inside draw should help him, but he often falls victim to his deep closing tactics. Demand a price here. (7) TORONTO pressed some bug fractions racing first up and he held for a share. If he can find a live helmet to follow, he can win here. (6) WRY should be good for another small share in this spot.
Race 8: NW $14,000 L5 or $31,000 L8 AE: Mares - Pick 4
(7) ADARE CASTLE lands in a good spot for her five-year-old debut, and this is a field that she should handle; top call. (5) TOKYO SEELSTER has been chasing Mrmayor Hanover who is in the top class in race 9 tonight. He is the logical alternative to the choice. (3) YO MISTER dropped and popped as expected but this is tougher, and he loses Macdonald to the choice; small share predicted. (4) BUCK DANCER just took a new life’s mark, but he is another that steps back up and he will likely finish on the edges this time.
Race 9: PREFERRED HANDICAP. PP #1-6 DRAWN PP #7-8 DRAWN
(7) LOGAN PARK did all the heavy lifting first-over and he provided a perfect following trip for (8) GAINES HANOVER, who got the late measure. I think McNair blasts the former to the front and leads all the way tonight. (5) LOOKS LIKE MONI is a very nice trotter but the top two are very tough. I think this gelding closes late for another slice. Game veteran (2) PERFETTO should sit a good trip and hang around for a share.

Race 10: CLM HDCP $30,000 to $40,000
(4) COALITION HANOVER produced a huge effort when claimed to take a new lifetime mark now he goes for the leading trainer. He steps up but he will be tough if he comes close to repeating that mile. (8) ORDER ONE TO GO fires home every week and he will only need to pass seven this time. He would be no surprise in this spot. (1) CAPTAIN FIREBALL has been right there in four straight races, and he races off the Auciello claim tonight. He was a good 2nd behind the choice last week and he is another possibility for late multi-race tickets. (7) LETS TIE ONE ON has caught fire recently and he is another live option in a very competitive race.
Race 11: CLM HDCP $14,000 to $18,000
(1) CATCHMEONTHEBEACH was game in defeat here on Thursday night, and although he faces tougher here, I like that he fires back quickly. He might be able to work out a winning trip at a price tonight; call to upset. (9) J J TOMMY comes off a bug win and he goes to Barrington off the claim. He is an obvious contender that’s hard to leave out here. (5) HIGHLAND BEACH BOY was a good 3rd to J J Tommy last time and he ran into a bit of road trouble in the lane. He was closing well once he found clear racetrack and he is in the mix here. (4) DIRTY LIL PIGLET steps up off a strong effort vs. easier. He should be good for a share here. (3) STATE OF PLAY has been in great form racing in London. He can be part of the High-5.
