Race 1: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $30,000) **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**
Interesting opening leg of the early Pick 5 here with several options. (9) R ROYAL PORT tried last year's champion two-year-old in the SBOA elimination and he wasn't close enough to make an impact when they started to sprint at the 3/4 pole. His 26-flat kicker indicates that he is sharp and he will likely be more aggressive vs. NW2 company; slight nod. (2) SAFE CONDUCT was a Gold winner in his second start at two then he had some gait issues. This race is probably not the goal, but if he stays flat, he could beat these even with a careful drive using one brush in the lane; using. (5) UNBEATABLE KEMP has excuses in his past couple of starts. He is another Pick 5 possibility in a race where I'll go deep. (7) BLUE BAYOU DEO missed some time but she is capable of being a threat if she is tight enough and she should offer a good price.

Race 2: NW5 (F&M7) or $89,000 (F&M $100,000) LT
(7) KIPPER WHIPR SNIPR had a start vs. the best trotting colts in the country and he showed a bit of late zip as the pace accelerated rapidly. He should be looking for a good result here as he gears up for sires stake season; top call. (1) HONE THE TONE was used up early making front from a wide post last week. He can get a much easier trip here and that makes him a threat. (6) THE PRINCE was better last week and he should be an exotics factor again making his fourth start back here. (2) MYSTIC should pass a few of these late and grab a share.

Race 3: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000
(1) SAKE TUMI has raced well in both of her starts as a sophomore and she faces what appears to be easier now; graduation time. (3) STONEBRIDGE THALIA exits some fast races and she is another that seems like a good fit here. She should be a threat racing from close range. (4) MIGHTY MELISSA won her debut so you know she can fire fresh. Tab the tote for clues with this one. (5) TALL DARK BEAUTY, 1/2-sister to double millionaire Tall Dark Stranger, qualified okay for this but that was three weeks ago now. I'll give her one and tab her for next week.
Race 4: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4
(6) BABY LONGSTOCKING went off as the chalk in her SBOA elim but being first up as they powered through the final 1/4 in 27 4/5 wasn't ideal. I can see her going right down the road facing maidens tonight. (7) ALL ABOUT ADDIE had the misfortune of colliding with Hang On Baby three straight times in the Spring Series. She is in with a much better chance here; using. (5) SAINT ANTOINE is a full-sister to two winners and she is by a top sire. Her qualifiers suggest that she can take a slice if she stays flat. (1) STORMONT MOLLY, the only winner in this race, is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics.
Race 5: NW $13,000 L5 or $29,500 L10 AE: OPT CLM $45,000
(2) DERF HANOVER drops again, picks up Macdonald, and he likely controls this race as the chalk. (9) INAMINUTE HANOVER is interesting at a price here. He had an even start back, drops now, and this is a field that he can handle if he gets put into the race early enough; using (5) MUSCLE FASHION is another dropper that also gets major post improvement here and he is in the exotics mix. (6) H P ROYAL THEO will likely pass a few of these late and land in the Super.
Race 6: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 5
(5) HEAVENS PIC making his first start for a new barn after changing hands at the end of last season, qualified nicely and he looks as good as any in this race that has no standout; top call. (8) P P E has shown the best late speed of any of these and he is in with a decent chance here. Young will likely get more aggressive in this spot. (4) STORMONT LESLIE ships west from Ottawa with some decent form and she picks up the leading driver who has often been the difference in these types of races; using. (3) MAGICAL MAJOR qualified nicely with a trainer in the bike and he is another worth a look in this wide-open race.
Race 7: NW $6,000 L5 or $14,000 L8 AE: OPT CLM $25,000 - Pick 4
(7) FINAL CLAIM drops and likely pops vs. this group in a spot where he should be aggressive early. (6) ALL THE TRUTH, who got a needed clean line last week, raced great at this level two starts back and was unlucky in defeat. He should be a threat here. (3) LIFE IS A FEAST lost by a nose last time he raced this low. He should be part of the Tri. (5) LAZZARO has been a consistent earner since being claimed and he will likely round out the Tri or Super here.
Race 8: FREE FOR ALL
(6) PEMBERTON raced great last week considering that start was his first in 19 months. The problem was the winner Oney Hall was on another planet. With that rival gone this week, Pemberton gets the nod here. (9) FORBIDDEN TRADE figures to improve tonight with a race under his belt and the fractions likely to be a bit softer; using. (4) PATRIARCH HANOVER needs a clean line here, but he is capable of rallying for a good share if he behaves. (7) PIKACHU HANOVER is another that figures to be closer with Oney Hall out of the mix this week but I prefer to use him underneath.

Race 9: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of last 5
(2) TYMAL RIGGS blasted to the front, yielded, then deftly stickhandled through traffic in the lane last week to get the job done. He is sharp and he gets the call to repeat. (5) STAY CLOSE lacked room for most of the stretch drive last week when he had some trot to offer. He figures to be the choice's main rival here. (9) TREASURED TEE has been competitive without taking a win for a few weeks, deploying various styles. He figures to be part of the exotics again tonight. (3) I GOT THE LOOKS should contend for a share if he stays flat tonight.
Race 10: CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000
(1) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ was too far back last time when claimed now he draws inside where he should be able to get away slightly better and stay in striking range; top call. (9) JULERICA crushed at this level when claimed and he is obvious here, but he can be quirky and I'm willing to try to beat him racing out of a new barn for the first time. (7) CHOREOGRAPHER has been in the mix frequently since returning to the races and his good tactical speed should have him in position to take another good share. (6) ROYAL RENEGADE, first up last week, likely sits and rallies for a share this time. (2) MACHIN A TRICK is always rallying from too far back, it seems. I'll use him on the bottom expecting more of the same here.
