Race 1: NW $4,000 L5 or NW1 L10 **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(6) ROCK AND TWIST draws best, and he gets away from the streaking Iama Rocket tonight. He has a good shot to lead all the way. (7) FULL DISCLOSURE drops, and he is another that should be blasting for position early; using. (2) JABBERWOCKY is better than he has shown in his two starts since returning. The drop could wake him up. Consider using him on the bottom of the exotics. (1) GRAND POOBAH comes off a strong effort, but I don't love the rail for him stepping up in class; small share predicted.

Race 2: CLM HDCP $12,000 to $16,000
(5) WINDSONG GRAYSON goes for Barrington off the claim here and immediate improvement is likely; top call. (8) PRESS TIME absolutely jogged racing off the Moreau claim and he is the obvious one to fear here. (4) JIM STRIKESITRICH adds Lasix, and it is unlikely that any of these will pace in 1:51 flat tonight. He isn't impossible in this spot. (1) ARTISTIC PICK is always around the money, but he rarely wins. I'll use him on the bottom tonight.

Race 3: NW $28,500 L5
(6) LOCATELLI should appreciate the class drop here and Macdonald should be sending him to get position leaving the gate. He is the one to beat. (2) SHADRACK HANOVER beat similar two starts back and he is the one to fear in this spot. (7) MUSCLE FASHION followed up on the fastest trotting win in Canada two starts back with another good mile, but his final 1/4s seem to suggest he is ripe to get picked off late. I wouldn't take a short price here. (4) GIGONDAS is in solid form. He should be in the exotics mix here likely racing close to the front throughout again.
Race 4: NW $14,000 L5 AE: NW7 LT - Pick 4
(7) ESPLOSIONE should appreciate not being required to tangle with Adare Castle tonight and this is a group that he should handle; top call. (5) DULY RESOLVED drops out of the same races as the choice and he should wake up in this spot. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him lead all the way and he is the other one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (2) PIKACHU HANOVER dropped and popped, and he looked good doing it, but he will likely find one or both of the top picks too tough; using underneath. (1) ITSTIMETOGOHOME is consistently around the money, and he figures to get a piece here.
Race 5: 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but no more than 4 or $47,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000
(9) BELLA CAVALLA is right there every week, and she fits this class like a glove; call to repeat. (2) LOWRY produced his best effort of the year last week and he was in a tough spot trying to close into a 28 1/5 kicker. He looks like he is coming around and he is worth a price look here. (10) STABLE GENIUS couldn’t hold off the choice now he draws widest. I'll play to beat him from post 10. (3) EDEN ONTHEHILL likely sets the pace and sticks around for a small slice.
Race 6: CLM HDCP $17,000 to $22,000 - Pick 5
(4) SNAP TEST just took a new life's mark, and he figures to get another good trip racing near the front here; call to repeat. (2) SKYLAR is on a roll, but he moves into a low-percentage barn here. What price will you accept? (5) LEGAL BETTOR drops and gets away from a rival that has been almost unbeatable lately. He is another in with a chance here. (1) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ should close for a slice in this spot.
Race 7: 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $47,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000
(4) BUSY MAKIN MONI got a needed clean line, and he closed well. He likely wins here if he stays trotting. (6) STORMONT MOLLY compiled a good record in 2022 and identical 27 4/5 kickers in her two qualifiers shows that she is ready to roll. (1) SOUTHWIND DOMINO has a case of seconditis but he fits like a glove vs. these and he is hard to leave out. (2) EVIL GUY finished with some interest last week. He is worth a look at a price tonight.
Race 8: NW $8,000 L5 AE: Starters for a purse of $15,000 or less L5 - Pick 4
(8) RESOLUTE BAY wasn't competitive against the top trotting mare in Canada but Macdonald sticks with him over two others in here that show better recent form. That makes me think that the leading driver believes the gelding will wake up in this spot; top call. (5) CALL ME DANI ships in, faces easier, and goes for the leading trainer. She figures to be right there vs. these. (6) CHULO was too far back last week but he closed well. Maybe Drury puts him into action earlier tonight; using. (1) SHESTHELUCKYONE should close for another slice in this spot.
Race 9: FREE FOR ALL
(6) LOGAN PARK returns to a 7-day rotation tonight and he should go right to the front early and lead all the way. (5) PATRIARCH HANOVER tipped his hand two starts back when he was flying at the wire then he upset the choice last week. He couldn’t be any sharper and he should be the main threat. (2) ADARE CASTLE is perfect so far this year, but she is in tougher now and I'll play to beat her in this spot. (3) WARRAWEE XENIA likely sits and rallies for a slice in this spot.

Race 10: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of L4
(8) SPARTAN GENERAL is razor-sharp right now and he gets the nod to notch the threepeat facing similar to those that he beat last week. (2) TREASURED TEE comes off a sharp win and he fits well here. He should be prominent early and that gives him a chance. (6) VILLEFRANCHE AS is in easier here and she should stick around for a share vs. these. (1) GOLD EDITION likely sits and rallies in this spot; using underneath.
Race 11: NW $1,500 L3
(6) FOREFATHER qualified faster than most of these race for purses and he should be tough to beat if he repeats anything close to that mile. (4) ARUKIDINME CABBIE should improve on the drop, and I can see him riding in the choice's pocket. He is the other one that I'll use in the late Pick 4. (5) G A SPEED SAMMY raced well in London last Wednesday and he is a sharp one to consider for the bottom of the exotics. (8) NUZZLE LOADER would be rated higher if he drew better. A small share is likely for him starting from out there. (1) NIGHT SHADOW adds Lasix, and he is capable of landing in the exotics if he stays on stride.
