(9) PUBLICITY SEEKER showed speed in the first start for Moreau and expecting him to improve tonight, I'll give him a slight nod. (10) UNBEATABLE KEMP raced tough in defeat in his second start of the year and moving from the rail to post 10 isn't terrible for him. He should contend again. (7) HP RUNNING MASS jogged vs. slightly easier, and he is hard to leave off early Pick 5 tickets as he shoots for the threepeat. (6) CENTURY ISAIAH was good beating easier, but he loses J Mac now; small share predicted.

Race 2: CLM HDCP $25,000 to $35,000

(7) I AMA ROCKET lived up to his name in his first start racing off the Barrington claim, and he gets the call to repeat here. (3) MACH ART IN MOTION raced well off the Auciello claim but he couldn’t get close to the choice late. A similar fate probably awaits him here. (4) NIGHT CLUB HANOVER is in great form, but he missed three weeks now and I'll play to beat him out of the Exacta here. (2) SPEAKING OF ART can improve enough in this second start for Barrington to sneak into the exotics.

Race 3: PREFERRED 2

I thought (8) DULY RESOLVED was good in his first start as a four-year-old but he was too far back early. With that initial start in the books, I think he gets more aggressive now and he gets top billing here. (5) ONEY HALL showed a bit of a new dimension last time, following cover and launching late off a perfect trip. That makes him even more dangerous, and he is the one to beat. (1) LOGAN PARK is one of the best trotters on this circuit and he looks well prepped for this initial 2023 start. He would be no surprise here but he could get over bet and I imagine he has his sights set on much bigger races this summer, (4) PATRIARCH HANOVER steps up off a nice win but this is a much tougher spot; using underneath.

Race 4: NW $4,650 L5 AE: OPT CLM $20,000 - Pick 4

This race comes down to dropper (6) RUN DIRECTOR and sharp (4) MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE to me and the former will likely get more aggressive here seeking his first win since July 2021 when he was winning Preferreds. Slight nod to the former but using both on multi-race tickets. (3) SICARIO comes off a solid effort where he closed well, and he is not noted for having a big late kick. He should take a good share tonight. (2) VICTOR INVICTUS should be along late to round out the Tri or Super.

Race 5: CLM HDCP $12,000 to $15,000

(6) BETTOR NOTBITTER A jogged at this level in his first start off the Moreau claim and he gets the call to repeat drawing best here. (9) DREW THE DRAGON raced tough off the Fellows claim and he will likely be the main threat to the choice here. (7) JIM STRIKESITRICH can be quirky, and he was claimed by a barn that has been slow to get going up here. I'd be careful to not take a short price here. (2) MACHAL JORDAN should get a better trip tonight and he should be good for a share.

Race 6: Horses that have started for a purse of $15K or Less in 1 of L3 - Pick 5

Great betting race here with several possibilities. (1) DONATOVER has been lights out in his last two starts and he gets a slight nod to notch a threepeat likely making another middle move. (6) ALL WRAPPED UP was golden when the leader hit the 1/2 in 55-flat last week as he sailed past them easily late. I don't think he gets the same setup tonight, but he is sharp and capable anyway. (2) TREASURED TEE took two of three on the 'B' tracks and he fits well here. He is in with a shot. (5) WALKONTHEMOON was a bit of a runaway on the lead last week and he still hung on for 3rd. He is in the exotics mix here.

Race 7: CLM HDCP $17,000 to $22,000

(6) CURIOUS CORTEZ was taken by Barrington when he dropped in for a tag and it’s not hard to envision him making up the two lengths he got beat by in that start. (1) STEWS WATCHING took care of business at Flamboro now he gets J Mac back and he can be a threat here. (5) FLASHY DUDE was used too hard, too early last time. He will likely get a more patient drive here and he can take a share. (7) JULERICA raced better last time. He is in the mix for a slice again.

Race 8: NW $14,000 L5 or $27,500 L10 AE: OPT CLM $65,000 or NW7 LT

(2) HAMMER TIME was an unlucky victim of racing luck last time and he can beat these if he gets a slightly better trip. (8) GIGONDAS should be aggressive her on the class drop and he could be the one to catch at the 1/8th pole; using. (1) MACALLAN got a perfect drive and trip to beat the choice, but he is capable of repeating, and he will be on my Pick 5 ticket. Classy (6) PERFETTO makes his eight-year-old debut, and he will likely need a start or two before showing his best; using underneath.

Race 9: NW $2,050 L3 - Pick 4

This simply looks like a spot where J Mac points (3) POINTOMYGRANSON to the front and goes right down the road. He'll be a single for me. (1) CONTROL THE POWER raced well in defeat at Flamboro on Thursday night and he could get the same pocket trip here; Exacta factor. (6) SIR A is another that raced well in defeat on Thursday night at Flamboro and I see him closing for a share here. (5) GOOD AND SWEET should sit a trip racing near the front and land in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 10: NW $8,000 L5

(6) P L OPPORTUNITY should get positioned better this time moving off the rail to the best post and he can pounce on these in the lane; top call. (8) FREE WILLY HANOVER was good at this level last time and he figures to be the main threat here. Not much went right for (1) MR CONTESTANT last time. I can see him tripping out and threatening at a price here. (4) MUSCLE FASHION should get a good trip racing near the front and take a share in this spot.

Race 11: Horses that have started for a purse of $7,500 or Less in 1 of L4

(9) FINAL CHEESERECIPE gets McNair back tonight and that is key. He gets top billing based on that change. (7) VIPER was taken out of a sharp effort by Moreau now he finds a spot where he should contend in this first start racing off the claim; using. (6) SOMEWHERENTUSCANY paced past the like a 3 to 5 shot and lit up the board with a $70 mutuel. What price will you take betting he can repeat? (1) CORTEZ THE KILLER is worth a look making his first start of the year off one solid qualifier.

Race 12: NW $4,950 L5

This seems like a race where the leading driver will find the right trip and (3) EMBLAZE HANOVER comes in off a decent race in London last Wednesday; top call. (4) CODENAME CIGAR BOX is getting closer, and he figures to be a threat tonight racing from closer range; using. (5) ACTOR HANOVER got used up early last time. He should get a better trip and result tonight. (2) GA SPEED SAMMY should sit another nice trip and get a good share here. (7) FLYING ART A should find a helmet to follow this time and he can be part of the High-5.
