(1) BUSY MAKING MONI needed last week's start after missing a month and he should be sharper tonight and more aggressively handled. He gets top billing in the lid lifter. (8) STABLE GENIUS came ready to fire in his 2023 debut while beating the choice and he is the obvious one to beat here. (7) ANGELWITHATTITUDE is right there every week and getting off the rail should help her in this spot. She is in the exotics mix again. J Mac takes over the lines on (6) SHES BEER LEAGUE and he will probably get her a share if she stays flat.

Race 2: CLM HDCP $12,000 to $16,000

(1) DO YOU SEE IT has been lights out since being claimed by a barn that is blazing hot and a threepeat looms here. (3) JAYDENS PLACE raced better in his first start for Barrington, but first-over isn’t his trip. He could pop at a price here. (8) JIM STRIKESITRICH made a nice late charge racing off the claim, but you know he will be behind the 8-ball immediately because he will drop back to last from this post. I'll use him underneath. (5) MIDNIGHT MOOD will likely flash speed and stick around for another slice.

Race 3: NW $14,200 L5 or NW $100,000 LT

(2) WALKONTHEMOON raced well again last week but no one could get close to the classy winner who went right down the road. He faces tougher here, but he might to be up to it. (1) MUSCLE FASHION raced much better last week with McClure in the bike, and he is worth using in this spot. (3) PUBLICITY SEEKER raced well chasing a strong winner now he draws better. He is in with a shot here. (5) CHULO trotted away and hid in his qualifier. I’m not sure that same approach will work here, and I'll fade him.

Race 4: NW $4,000 L5 - Pick 4

(9) FLYING ART A gets the call to repeat after taking a new life's mark while beating similar in his last start. (6) SPORTS FAN was just short against a fast winner who has already come back to beat better. He’s hard to leave out here. (3) BEYOND BETTER got held up last week or he likely would have won. That is a recurring issue with him though and I could see him getting stuck behind a dead flow again in this field. I’ll use him underneath as a likely underlay. (4) STOP THE SHOOTIN was a bit one-paced late last week which allowed a pylon skimmer to take the win. These are tougher and I see him taking a small slice.

Race 5: CLM HDCP $17,000 to $22,000

(6) FLASHY DUDE goes for hot trainer Waxman off the claim, and he picks up McNair. I'll side with him expecting a decent price. (9) WINDSONG GRAYSON is razor-sharp and winning with a variety of trips. He’s the one to knock off. (2) SPEAKING OF ART hasn't raced this low since last December when he was 2nd by a head and claimed. He should be a threat here. (10) SIR A is racing well but from post 10 he will likely be limited to taking a small share only.

Race 6: NW $8,000 L5 AE: Starters for a purse of $15,000 or less L4 or OPT CLM $45,000 - Pick 5

(3) HP ROYAL THEO got Macdonald last week and promptly went right down the road. That teamster sticks with him over the rail horse who also won last week. Call to repeat. (5) DERF HANOVER drops several class levels, and he figures to be sent forward leaving the gate tonight. He should be the main threat. (6) MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE raced well in defeat last week despite being out a long way and he can close for another share here. (7) ARRAKIS is on a roll, but he meets tougher tonight. I'll use him on the bottom.

Race 7: NW $1,650 L3

(2) HES SWIFT improved on the drop and raced decently first up when facing similar from the 9-hole last week. Moving inside, I think Drury gets more aggressive early in the mile and he gets the nod. (10) EMBLAZE HANOVER is fast enough to beat these if he stays flat and he is worth using at what should be a good price starting from the widest post. (9) G A SPEED SAMMY raced okay at Flamboro Downs on Thursday night, and he was facing better at this track in previous starts. He's another possibility for multi-race tickets. (8) SIMON SAYS HANOVER is another dropper that will likely improve in this spot, but I prefer to use him on the bottom.

Race 8: CLM HDCP $12,000 to $16,000 - Pick 4

(3) MALVOLIO was hard used when claimed by Moreau now he draws better and projects to get an easier trip; top call. (6) SKYLAR was claimed by Fellows at the peak of his form last week and he should be the one to fend off late. (8) VIPER is in easier here in this third start for Moreau and Cullen will likely get more aggressive with him. He can roll by late if the pace is solid. (2) MR MACH JIMMY comes in off a nice win in London on Wednesday, but these are tougher. I'll use him on the bottom.

Race 9: NW $25,000 L5 or NW $36,200 L10

I think (1) ONEY HALL can get away fast enough to land in the pocket of (4) H P MAMA B tonight. The latter blew what looked like an insurmountable lead last week and I'll try to beat her here as the likely big chalk. (5) SHADRACK HANOVER was first up against Perfetto last week and that wasn't going to work. He's sharp and he should be in the exotics mix here. (7) PIKACHU HANOVER is capable of better than he showed last week. Consider him for the bottom of the exotics.

Race 10: CLM HDCP $25,000 to $35,000

Jamieson claimed (7) ARUKIDINME CABBIE for himself last week and I'll give him the nod in a field with three or four that can win depending on trip and pace. (2) CURIOUS CORTEZ raced tough first up only to be nailed late by an onrushing (9) QUAN BLUE CHIP. Both of these are sharp contenders that merit long looks for late multi-race tickets. (6) LEGAL BETTOR races for Team Cullen off the claim and he can crash the exotics tonight.

Race 11: Horses that have started for a purse of $9K or less in 1 of L4

(7) CAPITANO ITALIANO beat similar two starts back then faced much better and showed little. He has a much better shot vs. these; top call. (10) CONTROL THE POWER has a similar profile as the choice and McNair will likely put him into the race early vs. these. He can be a big speed threat. (1) ROLLIN IN NEW YORK raced well first up last week and Macdonald sticks tonight. He should be heard from late here. (4) HERVEY HANOVER couldn’t hold off a horse that moved into a live barn last week and he fits well here. I just wonder if he will be overbet. (6) REAL WICKED, who raced decently on Wednesday in London, can take a small share vs. these.
