(6) TRUFFLES TOO tries this level again after getting passed as the favorite and he adds Lasix here. Another big speed try is likely coming; slight nod. (2) GIGONDAS won last time he dropped to this level, and he is the other fast leaver in here. He can get a great trip tonight; using. (4) TOKYO SEELSTER probably needed his first start in five months and Macdonald sticks with him. He is another that can win here to kick off the early Pick 5. (7) BUCK DANCER produced a nice closing effort last week and he can come on late here and land in the bottom of the exotics again.

Race 2: CLM HDCP $10,000 to $12,000

Lots of barn changes here. I’ll side with (1) LETS GET ROCKED, who goes for Demers off the claim following a fast Flamboro win. (4) DIRTY LIL PIGLET has developed a big late kick and he could get some battling leaders to chase down in this spot; using. I thought (6) NO TIME AT ALL was good racing off the claim last week, but the protracted first-over trip was too tough. He is another that is in the conversation here. (7) ROYAL REGATTA is on a big roll, but he moves into a barn that is winless so far in 2024. I’ll play to beat him tonight.

Race 3: Winners of 4 but not more than 7 or $80,000 LT

There isn’t much doubt that (5) DJIMON is the best horse in here. If he is close to fully cranked for this four-year-old debut, he should crush these. (7) BUCKHEAD RIDGE was ready to produce a big mile coming off the shelf last week and he is the logical alternative to the choice here. (4) QUEBEC HANOVER made a couple of moves to keep control on the lead last week, but he had no answer for Buckhead Ridge late. I’ll use him underneath here. (2) MERCUTIO will likely sit another trip and land in the Tri or Super.

Race 4: NW $1,500 L3 - Pick 4

(3) GATOR HANOVER made a decent first-over move at a big price last week and he has some of the best form in here; top call. (9) BROOKDALE MIKI drops to the bottom here and he could do if he gets put into the race; using. (6) PARTYINTHESHADOWS fired a fast kicker last week and I can see him closing for a share here. (7) MAJOR HILL tried to leave last week, and he was forced to take a tuck. He could get positioned better this time and he is worth a look for the exotics.

Race 5: 5YO and younger winners of 2 (F&M3) but not more than 4 (F&M5) or $45,000 LT

(4) ETERNALLY HANOVER got a needed clean line last week and he closed well at the end of the mile. This is an easier spot, and he is the clear top choice. (9) CACTUSTOTHECLOUDS raced decently in his first start in close to 10 months. He is worth using here because he will add a lot of value to multi-race tickets if he knocks off the choice. (10) YANK MY HALO is another that should improve at this NW2 level but from post 10 I prefer to use him underneath. (8) ZIP ME UP is sure gaited and he has been taking frequent shares. He can land a small share tonight.

Race 6: CLM HDCP $14,000 to $18,000 - Pick 5

(7) TREACHEROUS TOM was a good 2nd to a repeat winner, and he should be tough to beat here making his second start racing off the Waxman claim. (1) MACH IMPACT flashed big early speed in that race. He will likely get an easier covered trip here starting from the rail and he has upset potential. (3) CAPTAIN FIREBALL paced a 27-flat third 1/4 last week but he was too far back to make enough headway to get a check. He should be better tonight moving to an inside post. (5) MAINTENANCE MAN is racing well for trainer Schneider and he should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 7: NW $20,000 L5 or $32,500 L8 AE: OPT CLM $90,000

(6) FRANKS ANGEL took all the action last week dropping out of the New Holland series and he produced a big winning mile. Drawing best here, he gets the call to repeat. (8) PIKACHU HANOVER will get put into this race by McNair on the class drop and he should be right there vs. these; using. (3) PERFETTO showed his class and grit last week persisting on the lead despite being pressured for most of the mile. When he is at the top of his game, he can handle a field like this one. (9) LOCATELLI is in easier here, but he will likely be closing too late starting from a wide post.

Race 8: CLM HDCP $30,000 to $40,000 - Pick 4

(7) SWEET DEISEL will get beat one of these weeks, but it likely won’t be tonight. He is just too sharp. (3) ACAPULCO SUNBURN raced okay off the Moreau claim when 4th to the choice. He can be an Exacta factor tonight because I think he will lay closer to the lead. (5) HEAD HONCHO was no match for the choice last week, but he went first up and held 2nd in a good effort. He should be part of the Tri again. (6) ROCK AND TWIST races off the Cullen claim here and he should show speed again and stay for a share.

Race 9: NW $20,000 in 2023/24 or N/A $1,255 P/S in 2023/24 (Min. 10 starts)

(2) ACTOR HANOVER paced a sub-55 back 1/2 racing first up and just missed last week. A slightly easier trip should earn him a visit to the winner’s circle. (5) THONG CONTROL was intent on cutting the mile and he edged the choice for 2nd. This is a two-horse race on paper. (6) SIR A gets a barn change, Lasix and McNair tonight and he can be a threat if he stays flat; using. (3) FULL DISCLOSURE drops into a claimer and gets a key driver change to Gois. He can enter contention in this spot.

Race 10: CLM HDCP $19,000 to $24,000

(5) BIG BULLY got claimed by Merner, and promptly took a new life’s mark. He gets the call to repeat over (3) CAPT JACK HANOVER, who is another that produced a fast win racing off the claim on a night that yielded fast times in every race. (8) HES GOT SWAGGER produced a nice closing effort to get 2nd behind the choice when racing off the Lester claim. Another slice is likely for him starting from out there. (1) J J TOMMY should pass a few of these and close for another share.

Race 11: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of L4

(9) EZRA didn’t get the job done as the chalk last week, but the winner was just too good. His price should be better now, and he is in with a good chance vs. these. (8) DEALIN WITH DEWEY finds a good spot for this 2024 debut and I like that Roy is in the bike; using. (5) HEY RALPHIE followed up on a good qualifier to win on 3/30 and he was no secret that night. He is another in with a shot. (7) RITSON beat a good field on 2/23 then broke and now he has missed five weeks. I’d be careful here. (1) EDEN ONTHEHILL can sit another following trip and sneak into the Super or High-5.
