Top Pick Stats: 105/369 (-$184.50) Best Bets: 12/33 (-$20.70); Spot Plays: 11/35 (-$4.40) Best Bet: SUMMER DANCER (Race 8) Spot Play: CHEF (Race 6) Early Pick-5: 1,3/1,3/2,4,5/1,2,7/1,4,7   $21.60 Late Pick-5: 3/3,4,5/2/1,2,3/3,4   $3.60 Race 1: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $9,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. (1) UP TO NO GOUDA continues to improve with each start and could be ready to earn his first career win tonight. He navigated the rail just fine last week. (3) SIMPLY CHAOTIC took a strong step forward last week when qualifying with some classy rivals. Look for him to be a big factor in his first start of the season. (7) SWITCH was a good third from off the pace in his first action of 2026. He tends to race from further back; He can get a piece. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $60,000 (OS $75,000) LIFETIME. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. (1) ARIELS BET gets major post relief this week and should be able to challenge the ML favorite if she gets a trip. Her price will be inflated. (8) SIDE EFFECTS has won five in a row and is the obvious choice, but has to navigate the high draw this week. If they are going to beat her, it would be now. (3) TALLDARKLATTE was a game third last week after racing first over against Side Effects. Her two starts at this level have been solid enough. Race 3: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 (FM 3) RACES OR $20,000 (OS $26,000) LIFETIME. AE: NW $5,500 IN 2026. AE: MARES N/A $1,530 P/S IN 2025-26. (2) RESOLVED ISSUES has posted five quality efforts in this class and has the versatility to get in play with any trip. (4) DIVINE LOVE put it all together last week with a sustained outside move. I’ll count on her being a big factor in his first start at this level. (5) DONT CHANG MY NAAM was a good second last week behind Check Master, who I thought was sitting on a win. She gets away from the rail which could be good for her. Race 4: CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $35,000 (OS $44,250) LIFETIME. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. AE: NW $5,000 IN 2026. AE: OS NW $40,750 IN 2025-26 (MIN 15 STARTS). (1) CRAZIN PARTY BOY didn’t get much love on the show last week, except from yours truly, and I thought he raced very well when finishing second. I’ll go right back to him tonight. (7) COLD CREEK PANTERA finds a weaker bunch this week which could allow his gate speed to stick, if he uses it. I think it gives him a much better chance if he does. (2) MONEYBAGS made an okay account of himself in his return, especially after being shuffled, but had just one qualifier coming in. I think he should be tighter tonight and can step forward with a better trip. Race 5: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $9,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. I still contend that (7) LOYAL LEO would have won last week if he didn’t break at the top of the stretch. He at least was finishing second, because it was a mile back to the others. I’ll try him again, hoping that he minds his manners. (4) GREEN GOOSE spoiled his chances last time with an early miscue. He finally draws a decent post and has the middle move to make an impact. (1) STONEBRIDGE CHIPS comes off a winning qualifier for his 2026 debut, and she was pretty well wrapped up in that morning prep. If she can navigate the rail, she can make an impact right away. Race 6: CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $60,000 (OS $75,000) LIFETIME. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. AE: N/A $1,890 P/S IN 2026. It’s unfortunate Wicked Express isn’t here, because I would bet against him again. (3) CHEF was the direction I went in last week’s race. He will take some support from trip handicappers who saw that he had nowhere to go in the stretch. He is sitting on a win with how he has been racing. (7) ALL BETS ON GARY was a winner off the claim after grinding into contention. He can keep himself afloat on the outside for a fair amount of time. (8) VOLCANIC is probably going forward from the high draw, which is likely to set it up for others. He can hold on for a piece tonight. Race 7: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 (FM 3) RACES OR $20,000 (OS $26,000) LIFETIME. AE: NW $5,500 IN 2026. AE: MARES N/A $1,530 P/S IN 2025-26. (3) JUST BUSINESS got some help when Loyal Leo broke, but still turned in a sharp winning performance on debut. She steps up right away and looks to start her career 2-for-2. (4) CHECK MASTER didn’t win as confidently as I preferred, especially after getting some easy fractions up top. If Roy uses gate speed again, he should be a factor. (5) KINNDER ICECUBE was part of what turned into a four-across finish when Check Master barely held on. He was much better last week from off the pace. Race 8: CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $35,000 (OS $44,250) LIFETIME. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. AE: NW $5,000 IN 2026. AE: OS NW $40,750 IN 2025-26 (MIN 15 STARTS). (2) SUMMER DANCER is another who was held up without room until it was too late. The top two already had more momentum on the outside, so he had to settle for third. Try him again. (6) TH ALLOWMETOLEAD got a slick steer from Thiessen who found the horse some room in the stretch. He capitalized on that and blasted through on the wide side to get the job done. He tends to work from mid-pack. (3) JACK WICK took too much pressure in his first start back. Look for him to be tighter from a better post. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: NW 3 (FM 4) RACES OR $65,000 LIFETIME. (3) FLORIDA GUY has looked better and better since getting back on a regular rotation. I’ll give him the nod in what continues to be a competitive class. (2) LUVUTOTHEMOONANBAK tried the lead last time from the outside, but had to settle for third. If he can get a stalking trip in this short field, he could be dangerous. (1) BONITO BOY gets a big post switch tonight after just missing a check in his latest. He should be a factor tonight. Race 10: HORSES & GELDINGS CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $5,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR N/A $1,090 P/S IN 2025-26. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. (4) PLAY THE ACE was able to sustain his move on the outside and be part of a dead heat for win. Unfortunately, his value was cut significantly because of that, and he should take more support tonight. I’ll go right back to him tonight. (3) LIVIN LARGE has reeled off three in a row in London and has more than enough gate speed to get him in play. (8) JINGLE INMY POCKET was a winner when last seen at this level, but hasn’t raced for nearly two months now. A patient drive is expected from the high draw in tonight’s finale.
