Race 1: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 **$100,000 GTD Pick 5**

(5) JMR NIKMUS took some money at the windows last week but he came up against a very sharp rival that simply drove away from him down the lane. This doesn't appear to be a tough spot and I’ll give him the nod. (7) TRIP SEVENS was stakes-placed in NYSS action last year and she qualified well for this. The barn's main driver gets the call and she is in with a decent chance vs. these. (4) ZION appears to be a recent private purchase for Team Henry and they have done well with trotters in recent years. He could make it into the Tri at a price. (2) CASSANDRA CRUISIN's was only 1/2 length behind the choice in her debut and she is worth a look for the exotics at least.

Race 2: NW $18,000 L5 or $28,000 L10 or NW $120,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $50,000

(2) BUCK DANCER was on a roll here when racing stopped and his races in New Jersey weren’t bad. I’ll jump on him tonight when the price should be decent before he starts another roll. (4) MEMO will get bet here after finishing third vs. better last week and he is an obvious threat. (6) MUSICAL RHYTHM steps up off a perfect trip win but if he ever finds his best race his five rivals here would be in trouble. If you like him tonight the price will be right. (5) BAUTISTA raced well in his comeback race and he should be good for at least a slice here.

Race 3: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000

(4) SO FIA LOLITA was trying to close into the fastest 1/4 of the race which was mission impossible last week. I'll give her a slight nod here in a wide-open race where several have a chance to pop. (1) NOTHINGCOMPARESTOU finished ahead of the choice in an improved effort and she should contend tonight but you won't get 35 to 1 on her this time. I like (3) COLD FREEZE’s 2/25 qualifier and she'll be on my Pick 5 ticket. (6) CENTURY GALA was in to go at London Friday night with the result unknown at press time, but she could land here with a perfect 2 for 2 record looking for more; another possibility.

Race 4: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000) LT - Pick 4

(3) TYMAL RIGGS was sharp in his comeback race but the winner was just too tough. Driver Roy sticks here and this might be the spot for him to notch with #2. (4) WINDSONG PATRIOT wasn’t far behind vs. a tougher NW2 field and he is another who has been stuck on one win for a while that might break through here. (9) TUCKERS OUT lost all chance at the start last time when he broke. Needing a clean line now, I see him rallying late for a slice. (2) OH LINA should get good position early and she can ride a decent trip to a spot in the Super.

Race 5: CLAIMING $8,000

(3) COOL ROCK flew down the centre of the racetrack last week looking like he would finally end his long winless streak but he fell a whisker short. He'll get there soon and maybe tonight is the night. The rival that beat him that night, (4) SPEED TO MARKET, appears to have the lead all to himself again tonight and he should be the one to catch again. (10) JACKSON K DOWN was a sharp first-over winner at Flamboro Downs last Thursday and he should work his way into the exotics vs. this group. (7) BANKROLL can pass a few of these in the final 1/4. I see him rallying for a small share again.

Race 6: NW 6 (F&M8) or $85,000 (F&M $87,500) LT - Pick 5

(2) TOCCOA FALLS comeback race was good and if he gets moving earlier here, he can mow these down. (8) BEYOND KRONOS was also sharp and he finished ahead of the choice after cutting all the fractions and the Moreau barn has had them all ready to go following the break. He may lead these all the way; using. (6) DELILAH SEELSTER is capable of better and if she can land in the pocket, she would be extra dangerous. Expect Filion to blast for position, (1) HOT WHEELZ would beat these if he decided to wake up and produce one of his better efforts but he is hard for me to love off his 2/22 return race. I'll play to beat him.

Race 7: NW $12,000 L5 or $24,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $35,000 - Pick 4

(2) TREASURED TEE got a great trip to win his comeback race but I won't hold it against him because you could see he was always loaded and he steamrolled in the lane once he was shown racetrack. His price should be good on the class jump and he gets top call. (3) DUNBAR HALL gets to drop several classes here and Jamieson is sure to put him into the race early. He should be the main danger. (4) DANCER HALL loses McClure but it appears that an equipment break led to his demise last time. Give him a price look. (9) REFI is capable vs. these but from an outer post I’ll use him underneath.

Race 8: CLAIMING HANDICAP $25,000 to $30,000

(2) MACH IMPACT had a tough trip last week and he stayed game to hold third. A better trip can get him into the winner's circle here. (4) MACHIN A TRICK was the one that battled with the choice and neither won the war as they were both softened up. He is another that will improve with an easier trip; using. (5) JEWELS DRAGON races better for Cullen and he returns here; using. (3) P L IDAHO beat easier but the 2nd-place finisher has already come back to win. He’s not out of this.

Race 9: PREFERRED

(1) ONEY HALL couldn’t have qualified any better for this return to action and he gets the nod in this short field. (4) PERFETTO was relentless despite being out a long way and he was promoted to the win when the leader (6) ITS ACADEMIC switched to the pace right near the wire. Both of these could win this if the choice falters. (2) P L JILL is always dangerous because when she produces her best there aren’t many on this circuit that can go with her. I'll use her underneath tonight well aware that she could kill my tickets.

Race 10: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000

(6) KINGS JESTER has improved in both of his last two starts driving and he might be ready to roll by them all now; top call. (1) LEVI AT PLAY got hammered for at the windows his debut and he raced well. He is an obvious threat. (2) BIG CHIC MAGNET gets McNair and if he stays flat, he should be dangerous. He is another multi-race ticket possibility. (5) SONIC FLARE has some races last year that put him right there with these if he is ready. McClure chose him over the choice; give him a look for the exotics. (4) MARLBANK ROAD should get positioned near the front leaving and he can make it onto the High-5.
