(5) OKEANOS made a remarkable recovery racing in the snow after blowing up at the start and he passed his overmatched rivals fairly easily considering the trouble he had to overcome. This field will might be at his mercy if he stays flat. (3) MACALLAN finds a great spot for this 2023 debut, and he looks sharp. He should be the main threat to the choice. (2) PUBLICITY SEEKER should have won two starts back but he got stuck behind a stopper at a critical part of the race. McClure took no chances last week and sent him right down the road and he is a contender right back. (7) WISHYOUDTELLME is a great one to use on the bottom because he finishes on the edges every week.

Race 2: CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000
(8) I AMA ROCKET was claimed last week by a barn that has been winning with everything; top call. (4) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ is razor-sharp and an obvious contender here as he seeks a repeat. (3) NIGHT CLUB HANOVER, claimed by Moreau, is another in with a shot in a contentious field. (1) PARTYINTHESHADOWS could trip out here with Macdonald in the bike; price look.

Race 3: 5YO and under winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000
(6) DAY AT THE GYM looked a winner in every step of the mile on 1/26 and I could see him reeling off a few wins in a row if he keeps minding his manners. (5) STORM TROTTER was too far back last week, and he should be closer early here starting from a much better post; using. (1) ILLUSIONAL raced well off the shelf, but these are tougher, and I'll use him underneath. (8) SHESTHELUCKYONE, 2nd to the choice last week, takes frequent shares and she should be in the exotics mix again.
Race 4: CLM HDCP $11,000 to $14,000 - Pick 4
(9) MACHAL JORDAN drops for this fourth start back and he should get put into play tonight; slight nod. (4) JIM STRIKESITRICH looked good vaulting past some tired leaders last week and he is the obvious one to fend off here. (8) MISTER GODRO and (3) PROBERTS LEGACY, 2nd and 3rd behind the choice last week, will likely fight for some scraps here.
Race 5: NW $2,100 L3
(4) BUGSY MAGUIRE fires back fast after winning at Flamboro Downs on Thursday night and he gets owner Sorrie in the bike tonight; call to repeat. (2) GOLDINTHEBADLANDS raced better last week, and this is an easier spot tonight. He is in with a shot here. (8) ISITFRIDAYYET is another that was better last week, and his late speed should play here. He should be part of the exotics. (9) NATIONAL DEBT gets Macdonald, but he typically has no gate speed. I'll use him underneath starting from a wide post.
Race 6: CLM HDCP $22,000 TO $30,000 - Pick 5
(7) ARUKIDINME CABBIE got some class relief last week and he capitalized and won comfortably. He gets the call to repeat with post advantage on his main rivals. (9) MACH ART IN MOTION paced a huge mile in defeat, never seeing a pylon and re-rallying to just miss. He is a threat but no lock starting from the widest post tonight. (8) LEGAL BETTOR raced well off the Marfisi claim. He is the third contender that can win this race which will likely be decided by trip. (5) SPEAKING OF ART, racing off the Fellows claim, is yet another possibility in a race with several live options.
Race 7: NW $12,000 L5 or $23,500 L10 AE: Starters for a purse of $16K or less in 1 of L3 or NW 6LT - Pick 4
(8) MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE improved in his last two starts and I like that he was driven with aggression last week. I'll take a price stab with him here. (4) GIGONDAS hasn't missed the Exacta in five Mohawk Park starts and he is the obvious one to beat here. (6) RITSON typically races well at this level and he is in with a chance starting from the best post tonight. (1) MR CONTESTANT never got involved last week after starting from a wide post. I could see him sneaking into the Tri tonight.
Race 8: Claiming $7,000
(4) MATTS TUITION won at this level here Thursday night and he gets the call to repeat drawing well tonight. (6) HERCULE JM will get put into play early here by Macdonald and that makes him dangerous in this spot. (5) RYE N CLYNE was first up in the snow at Flamboro last week in another good effort and he should be in the exotics mix here. (7) ALWAYS N THE MONEY is hot, but he seems better suited for the smaller tracks. I'll use him underneath here.

Race 9: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $20,000
(5) COIN FLIP was an easy winner when claimed by Moreau and he gets the call to repeat facing similar. (6) CHOREOGRAPHER was trapped in the choice's pocket for most of the stretch run and I could see him turning the tables here; using. (3) UNIQUE BEACH dropped in 2nd early in that mile, but he got shuffled to 7th because of mid-race lead changes. He closed well late, and he is a contender here. (2) ALLGONOWHOA can take a slice here back racing in a claimer.
Race 10: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of L5
(8) ARRAKIS raced well last week but he provided the winning cover for the victor. He is sharp and he gets top billing vs. these. (5) THE LIONKING AS improved in his last two starts and he gets Macdonald now. He should be a late threat. (9) KAMERAN HANOVER was 7 to 5 vs. many of tonight's rivals last week and he tried the front which typically isn't his best trip. His price will be much better now if you still like him. (6) SIMON GOT LUCKY improved last week, and he is worth a price look in this spot. (2) POWER AND GRACE will likely show more gate speed in this spot, and she should be part of the High-5.
