Top Pick Stats: 86/285 (-$92.30) Best Bets: 9/26 (-$17.50); Spot Plays: 11/27 ($11.60) Best Bet: BELMONT BLAZER (Race 3) Spot Play: GREEN GOOSE (Race 4) Early Pick-5: 3,7,8/2,7/2/6,9/6,9,11   $7.20 Late Pick-5: 6,8/2,8/1,8/2,7/5,6   $6.40 Race 1: HORSES & GELDINGS CLAIMING $8,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. (3) TANGO SEELSTER gets key post relief which should allow him to be much closer to the leaders this week. He took a step forward last time out in his second start back. (7) HES SWIFT had to settle for a check against tougher competition last week. He fits much better at the 8K claiming level. (8) TITANIC HANOVER produced a winning qualifier off the claim, and the barn usually has horses ready to go right away. He could be a step short if he blasts out too hard from this post. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 (FM 3) RACES OR $20,000 (OS $35,000) LIFETIME. AE: N/A $900 P/S IN 2025-26. (2) HAZELS MUSCLE was bet down to favoritism last week and eventually found his way to the front in the late stages. He moves up to NW2, but has the ability to win again. (7) CHECK MASTER took absolutely no money last week, which I found surprising given the shuffle that he took two starts ago. It ended up being a moot point anyway, because he broke at the start. I still think there is potential for him to add value to exotics. (5) FRENCHMONI HANOVER had to settle for third after leaving out. She is always a factor at this level. Race 3: CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $60,000 (OS $87,500) LIFETIME. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. (2) BELMONT BLAZER had to work off stale third-over cover last week and was between horses in the stretch. I think a better trip gives him a chance to pop at a price. (6) VOLCANIC had no business winning last week in my opinion, but he held off every challenge that came his way. McNair returns to the bike looking for four in a row. (5) WICKED EXPRESS has shown his vulnerabilities in his last two starts where he just came up short. Roy should have him in a good position again. Race 4: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $9,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. (9) GREEN GOOSE made a strong first-over move at a giant price in her last start. She faded back to sixth, but that was by far her best effort since returning. She should be a factor if she can work out a trip. (4) DULCES SUENOS DEO grinded out another second place finish last week, pushing him over $50K lifetime. The highest earning maiden continues to do his job. (6) NONE SHALL PASS showed some flash in the final quarter of his qualifier. He debuts for Henriksen tonight; there might be some ability if he can mind his manners. Race 5: POP UP SERIES: H&G CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $30,000 (OS $37,500) LIFETIME. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. LEG 3. AE: LEG 1 & 2 STARTERS. (9) TOUR CHAMPION was borderline lethal on the lead last week, pulling away by open lengths. This overflow field poses more of a challenge, but he doesn’t have to deal with the likes of RBStenacious T and Bettor Beast who have been white hot at this level. (11) ALL BETS ON GARY will have to navigate the second tier, but he has been sharp in his three recent starts with Louis Roy piloting. (6) RYLENTLESS sustained his outside move last week and finished a strong third. Getting away from the rail gives him more options. Race 6: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 (FM 3) RACES OR $20,000 (OS $35,000) LIFETIME. AE: N/A $900 P/S IN 2025-26. (6) SOUTHWIND MANHATTN was patiently handled again last time and methodically made his way past horses after moving to the outside. He should make a similar trip work tonight. (8) CHARMBO CASH was a strong second last week after leaving out and sitting in the pocket. His gate speed is no secret. (7) MAGGIES TOUCH just edged out Frenchmoni Hanover for second last week after an outside trip. Look for her to get another piece tonight. Race 7: HORSES & GELDINGS CLAIMING $8,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. (8) CAPTAIN HIGHLINER had a ton of pace up the inside last week and pulled off the upset win. His first trip around a bigger track was a success. (2) MUSIC TO MY GEARS was a good second just a few days ago at Flamboro. The veteran is in good form right now at the smaller tracks. (1) ARAGONITE was all in at the top of the stretch after setting some wicked fractions. A different trip can see him rebound tonight. Race 8: NW 3 (FM 4) RACES OR $50,000 (OS $75,500) LIFETIME. (1) ROYAL FLUSH DEO continues to win and continues to get better. A-Mac returns to drive him again as he continues his class ladder ascent. (8) VALIDUS went down the road as a short-priced favorite last week. I expect Roy to give her another aggressive steer. (5) JAYPORT CASH stayed on well after racing first over. He has been right in the mix in all five of his starts this year. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING $20,000 FOR NW $60,000 (OS $75,000) LIFETIME OR N/A $35,000 IN 2025-26. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. (2) SIDE EFFECTS looks to make it four wins in a row after last week’s two-move effort saw her win again. The rest of the field will be taking their shots. (7) TORNADO RAIN was put in play last week and finished a sharp second behind Side Effects. I can see her getting a good trip again if she uses gate speed. (3) WEDNESDAYS CHILD was better last week when adding Lasix. Her last effort at Mohawk at this level was a good third. I can see her grinding out another finish in the money. Race 10: HORSES & GELDINGS - N/W $4000 LAST 4 STS. AE: NW $12,750 IN 2026. (6) SERGEANT SLAUGHTER was overmatched last week in a race that went too quick for his liking. The drop in class should help him pop at a price if he is ready to go. (5) GRANITE BEACH has been right there against similar horses and got the nod from Travis Cullen. He looms as a threat to trip out. (1) ELLIOT MOOSE finished a strong second last week after a Flamboro speed try. Hensley could employ similar tactics tonight.
