(1) BUGSY MAGUIRE, winner of seven of his past 23 races, looks sharpest in here and he should be able to work out a winning trip starting from the rail. (9) BETTER BE GOUDA flashed big speed last week when 4th behind the choice, and he finished with broken equipment. He is a threat to lead all the way here. (2) NUZZLE LOADER was taking his only win of 2022 when last seen and he seems to fit okay at this level. He should be in the exotics mix tonight. (6) GOLDINTHEBADLANDS is worth a look here picking up Macdonald to drive.

Race 2: Popup Consolation CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000

(7) JULERICA didn't show much when claimed by Auciello last week but in this seven-horse field I think he blasts and looks to lead every step; top call. (6) SPEAKING OF ART has been getting claimed every week and he finished with broken equipment last week. He figures to be a threat here. (2) MACHAL JORDAN finished well last week but he steps back up now. I'll use him underneath. (3) MERITO HANOVER will probably flash speed here and stick around for a share.

Race 3: NW $6,000 L5 or NW $13,000 L8

(7) MACALLAN should improve in this second start back and he races best for Young, who returns following a one race absence; top call. (3) DERF HANOVER closed for a check vs. better and he is an obvious threat getting both class and post relief. (9) HOLDIN ACES might have been best last time, but he got too far back early. He goes for Moreau now but draws worst. Your call. (6) P L OPPORTUNITY improved when he dropped to a similar level last week and he should be part of the Tri or Super.

Race 4: 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 (F&M5) or $45,000 LT - Pick 4

Good betting race here with several live options. I'll side with (7) SHESTHELUCKYONE who flew home last week and could get the setup that she craves tonight. (9) SHES BEER LEAGUE couldn’t be any sharper and Roy has been driving her with confidence. She should be right there again. (5) RADIO LAB ships in from Flamboro Downs in sharp form and his potent gate speed should play well here; using. (6) LILYS LASS can add some value to the Tri or Super in this spot.

Race 5: Popup Final CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000

(6) HP MOMENTUM moves from the worst post to the best one here and I see him vaulting past the leaders late. (8) I AMA ROCKET was claimed by hot Barrington for this final and you know Henry will be blasting with him. He would be no surprise. (4) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ couldn't be any sharper and he is another in with a good shot here. (10) ARUKIDINME CABBIE was claimed by Jamieson for himself and he is worth a price look here despite drawing widest.

Race 6: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $20,000 - Pick 5

(2) PROBERTS LEGACY was given a great steer by Macdonald to win last week but he paced his first sub-28 kicker in 27 starts dating back to last July. He is sharp and he gets the call to repeat. (6) COIN FLIP launched off stalled cover and chased down loose leader (8) CHOREOGRAPHER last week in another good effort. He is the obvious threat while Choreographer really had no excuse last week. (1) UNIQUE BEACH should be good for a share racing off the claim.

Race 7: NW $13,000 L5 or $22,000 L10 AE: Starters for a purse of $16K or less in 1 of L4 or NW5 LT

Wide-open race here. I'll side with (4) MR CONTESTANT who gets Roy back tonight. He steered him to an aggressive win at this level three starts back. (9) FRANKS ANGEL improved immediately with Macdonald in the bike and that driver chose him over some others here; using. (3) TOKYO SEELSTER followed a tripped out winner home in a good effort where he was closing late and he is in with a chance here. (2) SHADRACK HANOVER is another that is capable at this level that is worth a look.

Race 8: NW $1,500 L3 - Pick 4

(2) COLIGNY HANOVER gets to take a big class drop here and this is a field that he should beat, but keep in mind he has only 1 win in his past 30 starts. (5) NATIONAL DEBT was given a very aggressive steer from Macdonald last week due to the wide post draw and he raced well. He is in with a chance here drawing much better. (1) BIG ACE is another that was aggressively handled last week in a race that could be act as a speed tightener. I think he sits and rallies here and he has a big late kick on his best day. (4) GOING FAST is another that drops in class but he has missed a month. I'll use him on the bottom.

Race 9: NW $30,000 L5 or 9 races LT

(1) LOOKS LIKE MONI is 4 for 4 with J Mac in the bike and there's a good chance that streak will continue in this spot. (6) MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE went a huge trip to win last week and he is razor-sharp right now. He can be a threat here despite facing tougher tonight. (4) WARRIOR ONE, 2nd to the choice last time, should be in the exotics mix again. (2) DEALIN WITH DEWEY shoots for a threepeat but he is likely to take a smaller share facing tougher.

Race 10: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of L5

(9) OKEANOS is 2 for 2 for his new connections and he can extend that streak here despite drawing widest. (8) MUSCLE FASHION is no stranger to Mohawk Park and he exits tougher races in New Jersey. He should be the main threat here. (2) POWER AND GRACE should sit another trip and land in the Tri or Super. (4) SIMON GOT LUCKY can close late to take another slice vs. these.

Race 11: CLM HDCP $11,000 to $14,000

(4) JIM STRIKESITRICH was out a long way last week and he raced great but was eventually picked off by a rival that got a much better trip. He can beat these if he has better racing luck. (1) CUTTING CLASS is the obvious threat shooting for a threepeat and racing off the Moreau claim; using. (9) DREW THE DRAGON raced okay when claimed by Fellows and he is worth a price look here. (8) STATE OF PLAY disappointed at even money when he dropped and was claimed. I could see him being better here in the second start at this level with Macdonald taking over the lines. (3) BETTOR NOTBITTER A gets off the rall and he can sneak into the bottom of the High-5.
