Top Pick Stats: 69 - 218 / $349.40 (-$86.60) Best Bets: 13 - 20 / $39.60 (-$0.40) Spot Plays: 2 - 20 / $6.50 (-$33.50) Best Bet: BIG BULLY (8TH) Spot Play: KINCAID SEELSTER (6TH) Early Pick 5: 1,3,6/3,7,9/2,7/8/4,6,9 = $10.80 Late Pick 5: 1,6/2,3,4/8/1,5,7/2,4,5,6 = $14.40 Early Pick 4: 8/4,6,9/1,6/2,3,4 = $3.60 Late Pick 4: 2,3,4/8/1,5,7/2,4,5,6 = $7.20 Race 1: NW $8,000 L5 or NW $67,750 LT AE: Starters for a purse of $15K or less last start **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5** (6) MUNK missed a week due to sickness, but he looked good winning two straight prior to that and he gets the nod here. (1) QUEBEC HANOVER cost himself all chance when he jumped it off on the lead at the 3/8ths pole last Monday night while on the lead. He will likely be the one to catch if he stays trotting. (3) BETTINA HANOVER steps up but she comes off a game win and she is in excellent form. She is in with a chance here on the class rise. (10) ANDY OVER would be rated higher if he drew better. He could sneak into the bottom of the exotics at a price, though. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: CLM $8,000 (7) MACH ART IN MOTION looked good winning when claimed by Fellows last week. He is in peak form now and he gets the call to repeat. (3) TOO MUCH DUNCAN couldn’t repel the sharp pocket sitter in his first start for Waxman and he adds Lasix now. He should be the one to catch here. (9) ROYAL REGATTA is worth a look for the early Pick 5 getting J Mac here in this second start since being claimed by leading trainer Moreau. (8) MERCENARY has raced better since being claimed by Waxman. He can take a slice at a price here. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: PREFERRED (2) AMIGO VOLO draws well again, and he is the one to beat again coming back in seven days. (7) SOUTHWIND ONCORE couldn’t be any sharper and he never gets bet. He could do here if some things fall his way and I’ll use him in the Pick 5 as a possible value player. (1) ONEY HALL should be better with Macdonald back in the bike, but I prefer to use him underneath tonight. (5) HANDSOME SEBASTIAN did well in his first try in the top class and he can take another share here. Race 4: CLM HDCP $10,000 to $12,000 - Pick 4 (8) HES GOT SWAGGER absolutely crushed last week and anything close to a repeat of that mile will make him very tough to beat here. (3) CHOREOGRAPHER flashed speed last week and I could see him riding the pocket here; Exacta factor. (10) JITTERBUG FLIP was a distant 2nd to the choice last week and a small share is probably his ceiling starting from the widest post. (5) ISITFRIDAYYET keeps taking money and keeps disappointing. He is another that will likely be fighting for scraps here. Race 5: 5YO and younger winners of 2 (F&M3) but not more than 4 (F&M5) or $45,000 LT (9) COLLECTOR S was kept covered up until very late in the lane last week when he zigged outside and flew the last few strides to get up for the win. He will offer a good price from post 9 here and I’ll call him to repeat. (6) MERCUTIO has been consistent at this level, and he fits great here. He should be right there vs. this group. (4) STONEBRIDGE BOMBER was too far back last week now he gets Roy in the bike. He’s worth a look here at what will likely be a big price. (2) ARCHIMEDES was out a long way and prevailed in a solid effort, but these are tougher. I’ll use him underneath. Race 6: CLM HDCP $19,000 to $24,000 - Pick 5 (6) KINCAID SEELSTER is razor-sharp right now and he draws best seeking for a third win in four starts. He will probably be hard to hold off in deep stretch; call to repeat. (1) NORTHERN SPY moved earlier than the choice in that race and he hung in for a share. He goes for Fellows off the claim, and he will likely be the main threat. (4) LETS GET ROCKED survived in a race where the pace slowed late. I prefer to use him underneath in this spot. (7) MACH IMPACT gets Jamieson back and he should be closer tonight. He is in the exotics mix. Race 7: CLM HDCP $55,000 to $65,000 (4) CROSSFIT gets Roy back tonight and a much better post and he gets the call to bounce back at what should be a square price. (3) BUCK DANCER had traffic issues two starts back but last week he stayed out of trouble and crushed. He fits well at this level and he’s hard to leave off Pick 4 and Pick 5 tickets. (2) CHULO is another that gets post relief that should get a better trip leading to a higher placing. He is in the exotics mix. (6) NASEY will likely appear on the scene late and land in the bottom of the Tri or Super. Race 8:  CLM HDCP $19,000 to $24,000 - Pick 4 (8) BIG BULLY gets tagged here and he picks up McNair. He can go right down the road vs. claimers. (5) SWEET DEISEL got bottled up when he stayed inside last week, and he had no chance. Roy takes the lines now and I could see him sending him to ensure he gets the pocket leaving; Exacta factor. (4) NIGHT CLUB HANOVER produced a nice late kick last week and he almost blew up the tote board. He can take another share here. (1) SAULSBROOK BOOMER should sit another trip racing near the front and find his way into the Tri or Super. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: NW $14,000 L5 or $26,250 L8 AE: OPT CLM $70,000 (7) GIGONDAS gets a driver switch to Roy tonight, and I’ll give him the nod expecting an aggressive steer at a good price. (5) PATRIARCH HANOVER raced better last week when 3rd to a strong winning favorite. He should be a threat here and McNair stuck with him over the choice. (1) WALKONTHEMOON figures to get another following trip racing close to the front here. He is another in with a shot that merits a look for the late multis. (3) FRANKS ANGEL typically shows speed and sticks around for a share. He will probably be in the Super again. Race 10: NW $20,000 in 2023/24 (5) FOXHUNT likely bled when last seen here, thus the addition of Lasix. He shows a blowout win in 1:50 and change that makes him interesting and I’ll side with him hoping that Thiessen is his typical aggressive self here. (6) B STONEY was an okay 3rd when favored at this level last time. He draws best and he should be the one to fend off late. (2) HIGHLANDBEACHSBEST gets post relief tonight which should lead to a better trip. He could get brave on the lead this time; using. (4) GOOD AND SWEET fits decently at this level and picking up McNair to drive won’t hurt. He should be part of the exotics. (9) BEACH PARTY is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics on the barn change to Auciello.
