(6) TURBO COMPRESSEUR was lethal in his Mohawk debut and is the clear horse to beat. (3) M E LAUREL beat a similar field last week and looks like a logical second-best pick on paper. (8) SHERRYS FRIEND has the potential to improve and could make her presence felt against older competition.

(6) UNCLE SHANK A got back to winning form last week and made a statement. He can go back-to-back if that form sticks around. (7) PREMIER FIRST STAR has won two of his last three starts. That form should carry him a long way tonight. (4) SHADOW OF AN ANGEL has been consistently competitive in this claiming division and owns a recent victory.
