(8) HOW THE HELL shoots for the threepeat and his sharp gate speed will help him get positioned near the front leaving the gate. He is the one to beat. (4) RED OVERBACH is in easier tonight and he gets into this race by being tagged for $75K. Macdonald sides with him over the choice. He should be a big threat here if he stats flat. (5) ROSIES WAR BONDS couldn't hold off the choice last week and she is now 2 for 44 in the past two years and likely best-used underneath. (2) KEVIN ANTHONY will likely rally late to take another share here.

Race 2: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of L4 AE: NW2 in 2022

(3) O NARUTAC PERFETTO is the class of this field and he should beat these if he gets a reasonable trip. (4) DEALIN WITH DEWEY raced once for a purse lower than $15K and that fits him into the conditions of this race. He fits well vs. this group and he should be one of the main contenders. (7) HANG ON BABY is another that started once for $13K and that gets her in here. Her Flamboro lines are a toss. She is capable vs. these. (2) ESQUIRE is having a good season and his sharp gate speed should help him get a nice trip and land in the exotics.

Race 3: CLM HDCP $8,000 to $12,000

The three horses lined up widest look best in here and I'll side with (6) THUNDERING JIM who seems to just have a nose for the wire. (8) BETTOR NOTBITTER A closed from a mile back to be 3rd last week and he should be a bit closer this time because the field is limited to eight starters. He should be the one to fend off late. (7) MACH ART IN MOTION couldn’t outfight the choice last week and I am inclined to use him underneath tonight. (1) XTERNAL likely sits another trip and land in the Super again.

Race 4: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4

(10) BARONESS HILL was patiently driven on debut but when she was asked for her best in the lane, she responded with an impressive late surge to get up for the win. She looks best here, the obvious barrier she must overcome is the wide post. (5) ALCINA showed a bit of late trot last week now she gets a barn change; price look. (1) HEARTBREAK BEAT has the fastest mark in the race and post advantage on the choice. He is another in with a shot here. (7) INN AT RODANTHE took a check in a fast race won by a horse that was extending a winning streak. He can take another slice here.

Race 5: Harvest Series Ont. Sired 3YO Fillies

(5) HERSHEY SEELSTER got a good speed tightener in for this series last week and she is simply the fastest filly in here. She should convert as the chalk. (4) SAINT ANTOINE comes into this race in good form and teamster Young has been a good partner for her. Her good tactical speed makes her a contender tonight. (3) MUSCLE UP THE GOLD comes in off a good closing effort and she figures to come on late for a share again. (7) ANGEL OF MY DREAMS has been dominant at London but this is a much tougher spot; small share predicted.

Race 6: NW $12,000 L5 or $22,000 L10 AE: Starters for a purse of $16K or less in 1 of L4 - Pick 5

(1) PATRIARCH HANOVER didn't pick up a check last week and that allows him to drop to this level where he should be tough; top call, (4) RESOLUTE BAY just keeps winning and not even missing 30 days last week deterred him from taking another victory. The Stable has been running hot lately, too; using. (6) SPARTAN GENERAL is the other dropper in here that figures but I wonder what trip he will get starting from the widest post. (5) RITSON is sharp and he should be flying late again; using underneath.

Race 7: CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000 - Pick 4

There is ample early speed signed on here which should set things up for stout closers (7) HERESTHATMANAGAIN and (9) QUAN BLUE CHIP. Slight nod to the former who should get the jump on the latter. (3) ALWAYS A HOTSHOT has found a niche in claimers and he will likely be the one to catch despite stepping up tonight. (8) CENTURY GIGALO moves back into Moreau's barn on the re-claim and he's worth using in the exotics at a price tonight.

Race 8: NW $5,700 L5 or $12,000 L8

(1) FREE WILLY HANOVER came close vs. better last week and I would expect an early move from Drury here on the class drop; top call. (7) HAMMER TIME is the other dropper that is sure to be sent forward leaving the gate. This race should be a battle between these two for the win. (6) ITSTIMETOGOHOME left for position, sat a trip then rallied for a share. He is in the exotics mix again. (2) HESOHOT HANOVER is on a good roll right now but in deeper tonight facing the droppers. I'll use him on the bottom.

Race 9: NW $25,500 L5 AE: NW $150,000 LT

(3) HP MAMA B's Breeders Crown line is a toss considering the blow up at the start. She should handle these. The choice's stablemate (5) H P ROYAL THEO has faced some tough ones recently and he figures to be the main rival. (2) WHITE TIGER is another that fits better in this class. He should get a slice. (1) RENEGADE GYPSY couldn’t be any sharper right now and he should be in the mix for a share despite facing much tougher.

Race 10: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $20,000

(7) THE AMAZINGSANDO is solid at this level and the 7-hole is perfect for his typical racing style; call to repeat. (1) LARJON LUCKY raced tough when 2nd to the choice here two starts back. He should be the main threat and I think he'll be third choice tonight. (9) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ was flying late last week but he will likely be far back early again starting from a wide post. He is a contender but I think he will be overbet. (3) JAYDENS PLACE got a needed clean line and he closed well without threatening. He is in with an upset chance tonight. (10) REAL WICKED can take a small slice here despite drawing widest.
