(8) ITS EDS IDEA tried to bottom the field out last week on a track rated one second slow and it almost worked. He was claimed by Shepherd for this and he gets top call in a spot where there appears to be few real contenders. (6) ELROY SHINER hasn't been great lately, but he was claimed by Moreau which could lead to improvement tonight; using. (9) FUZZYWUZZYWASABEAR comes back quickly after racing well in London and he could sneak into the exotics here. (4) SEYMOUR LITTLE can close for another small share here.

Race 2: NW3 (F&M5) or $40,000 (F&M $50,000) AE: 4YO who are NW $1,100 L3

(6) L DEES PATRICK lowered the boom with a 27 3/5 third 1/4 with A Mac driving and the result was never in doubt. Now James hops in the bike and Lasix is added; call to repeat. (4) HONE THE TONE got a needed clean line last week and he finished well. He should be a threat tonight; using. (5) DEALIN WITH DEWEY is another that adds Lasix who figures to be in the mix tonight. I'll use him underneath. (2) MAGIC WANDA steps back up after beating easier. She likely finishes on the edges tonight.

Race 3: PREFERRED HANDICAP

(5) SPARTAN GENERAL was a victim of pace last week and he still kept coming and fell only a head short. He will likely get a better setup this week; top call. (6) PIKACHU HANOVER is on a roll with two straight wins in this class and he is sure to be sent again tonight. He is probably the one to beat tonight. (7) PERFETTO took a week off following a rare loss in which he was also set back for causing interference. He is so consistent that it’s tough to take a stand against him, but he will likely offer no value here. I'll play to beat him. (1) FREE WILLY HANOVER can close to land in the bottom of the exotics at a price.

Race 4: Pop Up Event 2nd Leg Claiming $8,500 - Pick 4

(1) EVASIVE CARD SHARK was noticeably trapped with pace until very late last week and once free, he flew to nab third. He gets key barn and driver changes here and he will be a multi-race single for me. (4) LARJON LUCKY was no match for a strong winner last week, but he did hang on for second when claimed. He should be an Exacta factor tonight. (3) SIGHTS ON YOU finishes 3rd a lot and he is a good one to use on the bottom of the exotics. (5) SANTANNA TONY is another that takes frequent shares who can be part of the Tri or Super tonight.

Race 5: Pop Up Event 2nd Leg Claiming $8,500

(10) SUNNY BO tried to bottom out the field when claimed last week and there was one rival that was much better. He stacks up well vs. these and he gets the nod. (8) ON CRUISE CONTROL has been showing speed racing for higher tags and he should be a speed threat tonight; using. (2) CHEAPSKATE HANOVER is worth a look racing off the Menary claim and getting Macdonald in the bike. (7) SHADOW ME THE MONEY raced okay last week and he could be part of the Tri or Super again in this field.

Race 6: NW5 (F&M7) or $80,000 (F&M $100,000) LT AE: 4YO - Pick 5

(7) LOCATELLI just jogged at this level last week and he faces many of the same rivals; call to repeat. (5) TRUFFLES TOO had a perfect following trip behind the choice last week but he couldn't threaten him in the lane. More of the same is likely tonight. (1) HP RUNNING MASS steps up off a nice win but he is probably going to use position to the two choices at the start; using underneath. (9) URNTROUBLE HANOVER can pass a few of these late and land in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 7: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT - Pick 4

(9) BORN A REBEL made two moves when beaten by a debutant on 1/3 and that was a good effort. I'll give him the nod here. (3) LINEDRIVE HANOVER is obviously fast enough for these if he minds his manners, but his lone start that was fraught with issues came 1 1/2 years ago. I can't take a short price here but acknowledge he could jog if he gets put into play and behaves. (7) BANKROLL SEELSTER jumped it off as the 3 to 5 chalk last week and he is another that should be in the mix if he stays flat this time. (1) BELECHIK can rally for a small slice here.

Race 8: Claiming $15,000 for NW $36,000 LT

(8) JUST PLAIN NEEDY gets away from the streaking Peter Poole tonight and he makes his first start off the claim for trainer Fellows. He should have a big shot in this field; top call. (1) MELODY MAKER was good in the claiming stakes series and he should be the main threat if he is completely over his bout of sickness; using. (4) TWAIN SEELSTER raced better last week and he should be good for another share tonight. (5) BELIEVE IN BRIAN fits well here, but he is an infrequent winner that is more likely to take a slice than a win.

Race 9: NW $3,000 L5 or $8,700 L10

(5) HERVEY HANOVER, a winner here at this level on Thursday was double-entered early so he gets to feast on this class again tonight. He should be hard to beat. (7) CARSONS SHADOW comes off a remarkable win in a good class at London considering he was out every step. He is the main danger. (3) SIDDHARTHA was close last time he dropped to a similar level as this; using underneath. (4) AIR STRIKE was a winner at Flamboro Thursday night and he can take a share here racing from close range.

Race 10: NW $12,500 L5 or $28,500 L10 AE: OPT CLM $35,000 or NW1 in 2021-2022

(3) ALL WRAPPED UP races best for Roy who returns tonight and the move inside should help. Sharp improvement is likely; top call. (6) MUSCLE FASHION will likely look for a trip racing near the front tonight and that makes him a threat; using. (5) KAMERAN HANOVER drops, but he didn't show much in his return from a 6 1/2 month absence. He can improve enough tonight to take a share, however. (10) LIFE IS A FEAST looked good winning the Pop Up series final but he will likely need to pass all of these to win which is unlikely; using underneath. (7) MEMO should take another small share racing near the front here.
