AE: NOT AVERAGING $985 PER START IN 2024-25 (MIN 10 STARTS) **$75,000 Pick 5** This is a good spot for (7) FULL DISCLOSURE, and I think he will blast off the gate looking for the lead or the pocket. I’ll side with him at what should be a good price. (4) BET NINTEEN looked like a horse that needed a start last week. He should be sharper in this second start back and he is in with a chance. (5) BEACHIN LINDY seems like a good fit at this level, and he comes in off a good effort where he passed 1/2 the field after starting from post 10. His driver took him over the choice, but keep in mind that his last win came on 12/23/23 and he is 1 for 30 since when you ponder what price you would take. (2) WALTERJUSTWALTER had some late pace last week, but he was too far back. He is another in with a shot in a race that lacks a standout. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: PREFERRED (1) AMIGO VOLO shows a stale date, but it shouldn’t matter as every one of his rival steps up to this level tonight. A win at a short price is likely. (3) QUEBEC HANOVER will probably be the first leader and he can ride to pocket to an Exacta finish after the choice takes the front. (5) NEW RULES is very sharp now and he can land a share in this spot. (4) PERFETTO never misses the top 4 it seems, and he will probably be in the Super again. Race 3: HORSES THAT HAVE STARTED FOR A PURSE OF $15,000 OR LESS IN ONE OF LAST 3 STARTS. AE: NW $16,250 LAST 10 STARTS - Pick 4 (3) LOCATELLI is in much easier here and this is a field that he should handle. I think Hudon gets more aggressive with him tonight and he gets top billing. (8) ZIG ZAG is sharp, and he was motoring late in the mile last week. I could see him passing his rivals that chase the choice and adding some value to the Exacta. (4) CHULO is in great form, and he figures to be prominent again and land a spot in the Tri. (2) RADIO LAB couldn’t have got a better drive or trip last week, and he converted from the pocket. He gets McNair now making his second start off the Auciello claim and he is in the exotics mix. Race 4: CLAIMING HANDICAP $30,000 TO $40,000 - Pick 6 (2) FROWNIES MIRACLE didn’t get racing room soon enough to pass the leader last week, but he remains sharp and dangerous, and he gets top call here. (6) B STONEY latched onto bad cover in that race, following a rival that got parked the mile from post 10 and after he swung wide around that rival on the final turn, he was one paced in the lane. He could do here with a better trip; using. (3) TIGANELLO is an interesting speedster that at the very least will set the table for a rival that follows him for part of the mile. His best race makes him a front end threat. (4) WRY ships back north and goes for Menary here. Tab the tote for clues with this one. Race 5: NW $2,500 LAST 5 STARTS (W/O $17,500 LAST 10 STARTS N/E). AE: NOT AVERAGING $935 PER START IN 2024-25 (MIN 10 STARTS). AE: OPT. CLM. $20,000 (6) CIEL BLEU made a threatening looking wide move in a Popup race last week now he draws best. I’ll give him a slight nod in a tough race. (5) MSFRANNIE improved her late speed sharply last time in her fifth start for trainer Fellows. Davis Jr., who has had a good start to 2025, retains the drive; using. (4) RAISING RUSTY trotted a good back 1/2 and got a clean line after breaking twice in a row and he is another that could get more aggressive tonight. He is worth a look for multi-race tickets. (8) THE LIONKING AS has been showing speed and sticking around for shares and more of the same is likely for him here. Race 6: NW $14,000 LAST 5 OR $20,500 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $70,000. AE: NW $120,000 LIFETIME - Pick 5 (6) BELLA CAVALLA raced big first-over to win racing off the claim and I’ll give her the call to repeat off that effort. (2) HANDSOME SEBASTIAN is better than he showed last time, and McClure chose him over the choice. I expect a better result for him tonight, so I’ll use him on multi-race tickets. (5) DREBIN was on a roll until he broke at the gate last week. He should be in the exotics mix if he behaves tonight. (7) ROBERTSON DE typically has no gate speed so I can’t like him to win starting from that post; using underneath. Race 7: CLAIMING HANDICAP $12,000 TO $16,000 - Pick 4 (8) MACH ART IN MOTION raced at Flamboro on Thursday and after he gapped the gate by three lengths, he made a nice late wide move that fell just short. He gets Henry now and anticipating that he will get a faster start, he gets top billing. (3) HERESTHATMANAGAIN got the trip and won while under no urging last week and he figures to be the main threat here; using. (6) RAYS KREDIT is in solid form, and he should find a good spot early leaving from the best post then try to strike late. He is another possibility for multi-race tickets. (7) LETS GET ROCKED draws better and he should be the early leader. I see him staying for a spot in the exotics. Race 8: NW $4,000 LAST 5 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $25,000. AE: N/A $1,595 P/S LAST 10 STARTS (6) PATRIARCH HANOVER was underdriven last week and it cost him because he ended up with a first up trip that was too long. I’ll stick with him tonight expecting McNair to send him right down the road in the second try at this class level. (3) COLLECTOR S fired a big kicker in that race when he finished behind the choice. He should be better here in this second start back and I’ll toss him on multi-race bets. (1) BUCK DANCER and (2) MACALLAN finished 1-2 in an easier field last time. They can both be part of the exotics, but I prefer to use them underneath. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: HORSES THAT HAVE STARTED FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS IN ONE OF LAST 3 STARTS. AE: NW $8,500 LAST 10 STARTS. AE: N/A $1,400 P/S IN 2024-25 (4) SILVER BEAST fired identical 27 2/5 kickers in his two qualifiers preparing for this return start for a new barn. He had a nose for the wire last year and he looks ready; top call. (9) ACAPULCO SUNBURN was picked off by a deep closing rival that benefitted from a contested pace. That was a solid effort, and he should contend right back. (2) OVERTHINKING took a lot of action last week and he raced well but he was no match for an aggressive rival. He is another live possibility for multi-race tickets. (1) OPULENT DRAGON ships east in good form but he shows a stale date. I’ll tab him for next week. Race 10: POP UP SERIES FINAL: NW $30,000 (F&M $37,500) IN 2024 (MIN 15 STARTS). AE: N/A $1,500 (F&M $1,875) PER START IN 2024 (MIN 15 STARTS (4) NO ANGEL LIKE ME was bet like she couldn’t lose last week, and she was up to the challenge, circling rivals and easily sailing past for the win. Her strong late kick will probably be hard to repel, and she gets top billing. (1) MY HOLY MOLEY is the other “now” horse in this series coming off a blowout win, but he got a perfect trip that night and he moves to the rail where it isn’t easy to find the pocket leaving the gate. I wouldn’t take a short price here. (6) DELCREST BRENT dominated in Leg 1 then he was sluggish for most of the mile last week. Based on last week’s effort, I’ll use him underneath this time. (7) HEAVY DUDE E wired a weak field last week. I see him taking a smaller share this time. (2) P L QUINELLA rarely misses the top four and he is a good one to use on the bottom of the exotics.
