This is the class level where (4) OKEANOS performs best and he gets top call to kick off the Pick 5. (2) REFI was an easy winner at 2 to 5 last time he dropped to this level so he is hard to leave out of the Pick 5. (6) MEMO beat better three starts back and he is another dropper that is likely to race much better tonight. This race should go to one of the top three choices. (5) MR CONTESTANT goes for Auciello off the claim here and he can improve enough to hit the ticket.

Race 2: PREFERRED

(3) PERFETTO is probably the sharpest trotter on the grounds and he gets the call to repeat despite facing the returning (4) WARRAWEE ROO, who comes back from a Breeders Crown stint. The latter took a new life's mark two starts back in New Jersey and he should be the main threat tonight. (2) HEY LIVVY draws better tonight and she is capable on her best, but I prefer to use her underneath. (1) ONEY HALL got a clean line that he needed and he should be part of the exotics tonight.

Race 3: Pop Up Event 1st Leg

(6) PRICELESS BEACH has been facing the best company of any of these and he gets the leading driver back for this; top call. (5) ALL CHEDDAR was claimed by Moreau for this series and he seems to fit well tonight. He should be the one to fend off late. (10) GREAT SOMEWHERE is fast enough to contend here if he brings his best effort and he could be a big speed threat blasting from the outer post; using. (7) PAT MCGARRY A has shown that he has the speed to go with these but he has missed four weeks and he might need this start coming off a sick scratch; tab for next week.

Race 4: F&M Claiming $15,000 for NW $64,000 LT - Pick 4

(7) SOMETHING ROYAL closed relentlessly to nail a drifting out leader last week and she should get another solid pace to chase here; call to repeat. (4) MILLIES MILLION obviously has the speed to contend here and the barn has been hot, but she drops in for a tag after missing three weeks. There are pros and cons to consider here before taking what will likely be a short price. (8) COUNTERCURRENCY comes off a sharp try and she has been around the money in every recent start. She is another to consider for multi-race tickets. (9) BAYWATCHING got a clear run up the inside in the stretch and she couldn't catch either of the top two who did more work last week. Another small share is likely for her.

Race 5: Pop Up Event 1st Leg

(7) PREMIER JOY A fits well here and owner/trainer Plante hands the lines to catch driver Filion. He could go right down the road vs. these. (4) MACHDAVID got a barn change last week and he made an eye catching wide move in the final 1/4 to catch a loose leader. He should be a threat right back. (2) DAY DELIGHT can improve in this spot and he is worth a look for the exotics. (6) CORTEZ THE KILLER is a closer that can pass a few of these and make it into the Super.

Race 6: HARVEST SERIES 1st Leg Ontario Sired 3YO Fillies - Pick 5

(6) STONEBRIDGE STRONG is clearly the fastest filly in here and she will be a Pick 4 and Pick 5 single for me. (10) DOING IT ALL exits the same race as the choice and she could be a good Exacta option at a price starting from the widest post. (5) EQUINOX ANNIE brings good form in from Flamboro and she picks up the leading driver. She could take a piece here. (2) FLANAGAN DESTINY moves inside where she can get a trip and take a share.

Race 7: NW $21,000 L5 or $34,500 L10 or NW $120,000 AE: OPT CLM $50,000

(5) PIKACHU HANOVER has improving form and he will offer a great price moving up in class tonight; call to upset. (6) DREAM NATION should have a good shot here on the class drop if he stays flat tonight; using. (9) WHITE TIGER is sharp as a tack right now and he is hard to discount with the speed and consistency that he has been showing. (2) ROYALTY DEAL is usually right there when he races at this level and he is another in with a shot in a competitive field.

Race 8: CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000 - Pick 4

(6) OUTKAST BLUE CHIP made two moves last week and provided cover for winner (5) LOVEMYROCKINBIRD. The former was game in defeat despite going the tougher trip of the two and I'll give him the call to turn the tables. (3) LEGAL BETTOR rarely misses the top three. He's hard to leave out of the Tri. (7) JM JACK OF HEARTS drops in for a tag and he should be heard from, but I prefer to use him underneath.

Race 9: Pop Up Event 1st Leg

(8) WILDRIVERBUMBLEBEE was a strong winner here last week leading up to this series and he should be tough racing on the engine again. (7) P L JACKSON is capable vs. these and his barn has been hot of late. I could see him blasting and sitting in the choice's pocket which would (9) MIDNIGHT MOOD is only 2 for his last 31 but he has taken several shares and he could sneak into the exotics going for trainer Moreau tonight. (6) BIG BULLY comes off a decent effort at this track and he is a good one to use on the bottom of the exotics.

Race 10: NW7 or $70,000 (F&M $87,500 LT) AE: 3YO

(2) LOCATELLI makes his first start for The Stable in a spot where he fits well and picking up driver Macdonald won't hurt. He gets top billing here. (6) P L OPPORTUNITY had a long win streak broken when he jumped it off in the SBOA stakes. He will be a threat if he stays trotting tonight. (1) SPARTAN GENERAL is in top form now and he could be the one to fend off in the lane; using. (5) POWERFUL SPIRIT looked good winning here last week and he should be in the exotics mix again; using underneath.

Race 11: Pop Up Event 1st Leg

This looks like an easier field than the one that (3) ROYAL RENEGADE beat easily after starting from the 10-hole in 11/1 and he should be very hard to beat. (4) STOLEN ART should get a better trip tonight and that makes him an exotic factor. (2) MILLENIUM SEELSTER is in solid form and from an inside post he should be able to get a trip and take a share. (6) GO NINE O got taken out of the race when the pocket sitter broke and interfered with him on the backstretch at Flamboro last Wednesday. He is worth a look picking up McNair here. (5) MERCENARY tries hard every race. I can see him sneaking into the High-5 tonight.
