Race 1: 5YO and Younger CLM HDCP $50K to $60K **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**

(6) OVERKILL HALL tried a first-over move last week and he trotted a sub-28 third 1/4 which took its toll late in the mile. I think J Mac tries to make front this time and he could lead them home. (4) WARRAWEE XALT is a bit unlucky to have lost both of his last two starts. His speed makes him a threat every week; using. (2) ITSTIMETOGOHOME raced better last week and back at the same level here I give him a slight chance to notch the upset. (8) MIDNIGHT MIRACLE is capable at this level but I don’t love the wide post for him tonight. I’ll use him underneath.

Race 2: 5YO and younger winners of 2 (F&M3) but not more then 4 (F&M5) or $45,000 LT

Tough race here. I’ll side with (3) DAHLQUIST HANOVER who raced in the top class at Flamboro twice after shipping north and should find this spot easier. (9) STORMONT DIVIDE roared home to win at this level at a big price last week and he should be right there again despite drawing wide. I wouldn’t be shocked if he tried to leave hard this time. (7) DONT TREAT ME BAD comes off an improved effort and J Mac sticks. She is another in with a chance here. (4) DOWEDEALINANDWHY gets first time McNair here and that makes him worth a look for the exotics.

Race 3: NW $20,000 in 2023

(7) REACTOR NOW A ships north and gets to face much easier at this level. I’ll single him in this Pick 5 and look for prices in other legs. (1) WILDRIVERBUMBLEBEE made a couple of moves when 2nd vs. similar last week. He is the obvious threat. (5) MIGHTY MACH benefited from some pace battling to upend the choice and he could get a similar trip scenario here so I’ll use him in the Pick 5. (8) ILLGETMYOWN THANKS will probably be closing from the back in this spot and he can land in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 4: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of L3 - Pick 4

(10) ALL GAS NO BRAKES has shown he has a nose for the wire and he gets tested here starting from the widest post, but I think he’s up to it. (9) R ROYAL PORT got the jump on the choice last week and just failed to hold him off. That was a much-improved performance and he is dangerous here. (6) ROYALTY BEER always seems a threat with his speed and he has post position advantage on his main rivals tonight. He is useable on multi-race tickets. (2) RADIO LAB gets post relief which should lead to him taking a share this time.

Race 5: HARVEST SERIES Ont. Sired 3YO fillies NW $30,000 in 2023 as of 9/30/2023 Leg 1

(8) THE BALLYKEEL DEAL, winner of three of hr last four, may get sent right down the road by hot driver Borth in this spot. (2) OLIVIAS GOLDNUGGET raced well in the Popup series and she fell short each time. She should contend again here, but I wouldn’t take a short win price on her. (7) LUCY WHO was used up early when facing tougher than these last time. She is worth using on multi-race tickets in this spot. (10) JAYPORT ANNA MAY was a winner last time Macdonald drove. She should offer a big price here from post 10 and she’s worth a look considering she also gets a barn change tonight.

Race 6: CLM HDCP $25K to $35K - Pick 5

(10) I AMA ROCKET overcame post 10 last week when claimed and he remains the one to beat here. (7) SKYLAR fell just short to the choice and he could now be sitting on a win in this third start back; using. (1) SIR A motored late for a share and he can be part of the exotics again tonight. (2) HEAD HONCHO is capable of sneaking into the exotics starting from a better post this week.

Race 7: NW $9,500 L5

(6) ESPLOSIONE gets both class and post relief here and he has a big shot vs. these; top call. (2) WALKONTHEMOON flashed more speed last week and he drops, too. He could lead these a long way; using. (8) ALL WRAPPED UP is another dropper in here but starting from a wide post I prefer to use him underneath. (4) VILLEFRANCHE AS should sit another good trip and take a small share.

Race 8: NW $1,750 L3 - Pick 4

(6) SPORTS FAN takes a big drop here and he should prove very tough to beat as a bug favorite. (3) HESINCONTROL improved with McClure in the bike last time and that driver sticks here. He should be a late threat. (7) DAY DELIGHT tried it first up last time and it didn’t work out. I see him sitting and rallying this time and I’ll use him underneath. (4) SIP OF BOURBON is a good one to use on the bottom of the exotics.

Race 9: NW $14,000 L5 or $110,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $65,000

(6) TRUFFLES TOO drops from the top class, and he was an easy winner last time he raced in this class; top call. (8) STORM TROTTER is peaking right now, and he will be flying late from the back again. A threepeat is not out of the question. (7) FLEURIE is another dropper that win last time he raced in this class and he merits consideration for late multi-race tickets. (4) LOCATELLI is certainly classy enough to beat these racing off the shelf, but I prefer to give him a start and I’ll use him underneath.

Race 10: CLM HDCP $17,000 to $22,000

(2) BLAKESAGENT never looked a loser last week when claimed now he draws better; call to repeat. (5) MUSIC TO MY GEARS got pounded down to chalk racing off the Takoor claim and he got a perfect steer to win. He should be the main threat here. (4) CHOREOGRAPHER was a front end winner in the slop last Wednesday and he should be part of the Tri here racing close to the front. (8) MACH IMPACT will likely close from far back to take another small slice.

Race 11: CLM HDCP $12,000 to $16,000

(3) ROYAL REGATTA should be able to make front in this field racing off the claim and he is the one to beat. (9) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ clearly needed last week’s start as he had no pop in the lane. He could improve sharply now; using. (8) BAD EYE BILL raced tough in Leamington racing against some salty older claimers. He has some longshot appeal here. (6) UF BETTORS HANOVER typically finishes well and he should be passing horses late to land in the exotics. (10) LITTLE MANNY would be rated higher if he drew better. His ceiling is probably a small slice tonight.
