(8) SLICK N SPORTY raced here on Thursday night and he was sent forward leaving the gate, a tactic that produced a better result. This seems like a good spot for him and he gets my nod. (6) ITS EDS IDEA has been on a tear at the 'B' tracks and his sharp gate speed is an asset; using. (2) ROCKINMYDREAM is worth a look for the early Pick 5 moving into Auciello's barn tonight. (1) NO TIME AT ALL raced okay at Flamboro Thursday night. He can take a small share here.

Race 2: NW $19,000 L5 or $32,000 L10 or NW $120,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $50,000

Last time (1) DREAM NATION raced at a level this low, he jogged. He is the one to beat here but I'm not sure if he offers any value. (6) WHITE TIGER has done well to work his way up to the Preferred level and he gets a bit of class relief tonight. He will probably get the jump on the choice and that makes him the one to catch; using. (5) KAMERAN HANOVER fits well here but he will probably need one after having an abbreviated 2021 campaign; using underneath. (3) REFI should get a better trip tonight and take a share.

Race 3: Pop Up Event 1st Leg Claiming $8,500

(8) MISSION THREE wasn't asked to do much at Flamboro on 12/30 after missing a week. That race should sharpen him up for this series and sharp improvement is expected tonight. (9) SUNNY BO raced great here on Thursday night and he was game in defeat. He should be right there again; using. (2) DELLAS BOY has two wins at odds-on since shipping from Ottawa to Ontario but this is much tougher; small share predicted. (4) MACH LEE is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics racing off the Bishop claim.

Race 4: NW $12,000 L5 or $24,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $35,000 or Pop Up Starters - Pick 4

(3) ONLY FOR JUSTICE was probably best last week he was just too far back at the head of the lane. I'm counting on him being put into the race earlier tonight and he gets the nod. (5) NEVER MIND N is always dangerous with his speed and he should contend here despite stepping up one level. (7) MUSCLE FASHION raced much better last week and he was quickly getting to the winner when they hit the wire. He is another in with a chance tonight. (8) ALL WRAPPED UP failed as chalk last week. I see him taking a more conservative approach tonight and closing for a share.

Race 5: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $8,900 LT

If (2) BANKROLL SEELSTER can replicate his effort from last week, his rivals are likely racing for 2nd tonight; top call. (1) SHES WATCHING ME made two moves in the same race and couldn't stay with the leaders late. Maybe she sits in and pounces late tonight? (8) BELECHICK made a nice late move last week following a deflating effort the week prior. He could vault past them all if the pace is honest tonight. (5) WHISKEY BREAK is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics at a price.

Race 6: Pop Up Event 1st Leg Claiming $8,500 - Pick 5

Tough race here. (6) GENERAL LEE draws best after leading all the way for 1 1/16th miles in London on 1/4. He can be a big speed threat here, too; slight nod. (7) JULIAN I AM gets Roy racing off the claim and his Flamboro form puts him in the picture vs. these; using. (3) EASY FLYER is also worth a look racing off the Tierney claim. I could see him tripping out in this spot. (1) SIGHTS ON YOU raced okay at Flamboro Thursday night and he is another who could get a nice trip; price look.

Race 7: NW5 (F&M7) or $72,000 (F&M $87,500) LT

This is a better spot for (6) LOCATELLI and he should have a good chance to drop and pop tonight. (3) PHEONIX is right there every week and he is the other one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (1) TRUFFLES TOO draws the rail here which isn't typically the best post for a trotter intent on making front. I'll play to beat him tonight. (2) ROWLEN beat easier on New Year's Day. A small share is likely for her this time.

Race 8: Claiming $15,000 for NW $40,000 LT - Pick 4

(1) PETER POOLE took a lot of action racing off the claim last week and he tripped out to win. He faces similar here and from the rail another good trip is very possible; top call. (7) JUST PLAIN NEEDY was edged by the choice last week. His potent gate speed makes him dangerous; using. (2) KINKAID SEELSTER was first up in the race won by the choice last week. He could be closer here if he gets an easier trip but I'll use him underneath. (8) G A SPEED JOEY could go better vs. these. Give him a look for the bottom of the Super.

Race 9: Pop Up Event 1st Leg Claiming $8,500

Wide-open race here. I'll side with (7) EVASIVE CARD SHARK who comes off a sharp win at Flamboro four nights ago and should be sent forward leaving the gate. Things didn't go well for (9) OAKROCK ELDORADO racing off the claim in London, but he gets his nose back on the gate now. He could rebound at a price tonight. (5) ELROY SHINER's last two starts don’t inspire confidence but he is obviously capable on his best, and Macdonald will probably look to get him covered up tonight; using. (6) UBER HANOVER takes a share every week but he can't seem to get the job done. Maybe tonight racing off the Tierney claim?

Race 10: NW $6,500 L5 or $17,500 L10 AE: Pop Up Starters who are NW $33,000 L10

(5) BUCK DANCER gets some needed class relief tonight and he should be aggressive early. Maybe fifth time back is the charm. (3) ITSTIMETOGOHOME shows one good recent race and it came in this class when he jogged two starts back. He should be a threat tonight. (4) GOLD EDITION was right there at this level two starts back. He should contend if he stays flat tonight. (7) FLY BEYOND followed an unyielding leader around the track last week. He can take another share racing close to the front tonight.

Race 11: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $22,000 LT

There was no way (2) MERITO HANOVER was chasing down the sprinting Texas Miki last time, but he looks best of these and he gets top billing. (4) DR JOE is capable vs. these and now that he got a needed clean line maybe he is given a more aggressive steer tonight; using. (7) PREMIER NACHO returns in a spot where he should contend immediately. The tote board might provide some clues here. (9) LIFETIMEEXPERIENCE is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics at a price. I can see him passing a few of these late. (10) ODDS ON CARMEL was bet like he couldn't lose on the class drop last time, now he draws widest. His price should be better tonight if you still like him.
