(2) SOUTHWIND COORS returns quicker, and he is obviously capable of better. I think he lands in the Tri this time. Race 5: CLAIMING HANDICAP $30,000 TO $40,000 (3) B STONEY steps up in class here but he crushed racing off the Barrington claim last time and if he repeats that effort, he will be tough to beat here. (6) FROWNIES MIRACLE should be more aggressive in this second start for Lester, and he moves to the best post tonight; price looks for the multis. (5) JADENSMAGICSTEEL is another that steps up off a big win, but he took a nee life’s mark that night and he is in with a shot despite facing tougher. (10) HES SWIFT gets Jamieson back tonight but draws worst. I’ll use him underneath. Race 6: HARVEST SERIES: ONTARIO SIRED 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES, NW $30,000 IN 2024 AS OF SEPTEMBER 30TH 2024. LEG 1 - Pick 5 (5) YS QUEEN BETH had a decent debut where she showed a good late kick. Trainer Etsell excels with young trotters, and I’ll give this filly the nod here. Moving inside gives her a chance in this spot, but I prefer to use her underneath. LEG 1 (10) SUGAR PIE HONEY took a new lifetime mark winning the Grassroots Consolation and I don’t mine the 10-hole here because it should help keep her price viable; call to repeat. (9) OUTTATHISWORLD DEO made it into the Gold Final where she was overmatched. She has a much better chance vs. these. (7) SIDE EFFECTS hung on for a share despite getting parked the mile last time, but that race came six weeks ago. I’ll use her underneath based on the stale date. AE: N/A $1,315 P/S IN 2024 - Pick 4 This is a big drop for (10) DERF HANOVER and Cullen should put him into the race early from the widest post; top call. (2) FLY BEYOND is also in easier here and I would think he will lay closer to the front early in the mile. He is the other one that I’ll use on late multi-race tickets. (1) TWIN B ARCHIE has already had to cracks at this level and he could do no better than finish 4th. I don’t see him beating both droppers tonight. (7) WASTINGNOTIME closed well to hit the board last time and he is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics here. Race 9: PREFERRED (2) AMIGO VOLO was locked in behind winner Fashion Frenzie for the entire stretch drive on 10/7. This is an easier field, and he should control this race from the outset. (6) QUEBEC HANOVER will likely be the first leader then sit pocketed behind the choice. He should be an Exacta factor. (5) SAFE CONDUCT couldn’t be much sharper and he will likely close late to land on the board here. (3) NEW RULES beat the choice last time off a good trip. I see him taking a smaller slice here. (3) MR BEAST is capable of better than he showed last week, and I could see him blasting to the front and trying to go down the road here; price look for the late multis.
