Race 1: NW $5,000 L5 or $10,000 L10 **GTD $100,000 Pick 5**

(1) AMERICAN VIRGIN drew bad posts in four of his past five starts and got mostly poor results and that allows him to drop down to face a field that he should handle; top call. (10) MAJOR HILL also drops again after just missing getting a check one class higher and he can get a good trip following the choice here; using. (8) ICY BLUE SCOOTER is another that drops here and five starts back he was a close second at this level. He has a chance here but he will need to work out a trip. (3) TIGERS WAY should close for another slice in this spot.

Race 2: HARVEST SERIES 1ST LEG ONT SIRED 3YO FILLIES

(3) HAWAII stands out here and she will be heavily-bet. She's a Pick 5 single for me in this spot. (6) A BLUE BLOOD took a shot at big odds in her Grassroots final which eventually didn’t work out great but in this easier spot she could last much longer if McNair sends her again; Exacta factor. (5) TEALICIOUS should be in the exotics mix if she flashes the same early speed she has been in recent races. (1) RADICAL J J produced a good late kick in his Mohawk debut and she should pass at least a couple of these late.

Race 3: HARVEST SERIES 1ST LEG ONT SIRED 3YO FILLIES

(2) FUZZY ANGEL's August races are easily good enough to win this and she got a clean line vs. better now draws well. She should be tough vs. these if she stays flat. (6) SOMEWHAT SACY produced her best effort yet last time which included a sub-29 kicker. If the choice runs, she is the most likely beneficiary. (7) EDGEWATER has recurring gait issues but also enough talent to compete with these if she can stay trotting. I'd demand a price here. (1) FORTUNE TELLERS K should sit a good trip racing near the front and take a share.

Race 4: CLAIMING HANDICAP $25,000 to $30,000 - Pick 4

(8) ALLSTAR SEELSTER is on a roll that is unlikely to be stopped due to drawing an outside post and a threepeat looms. (4) TAKE THE DEAL gets a notable driver change from Gagnon to Roy. Is that enough to make up the two lengths on the choice? Your call. (3) QUAN BLUE CHIP steps up off the claim but he just achieved a rarely-seen feat on this track, winning two straight from post 9 and he isn't out of this. (1) UF BETTORS HANOVER made a nice wide move to take a share last week and he is likely to come on late for a slice again in this spot.

Race 5: NW $12,000 L5 or $24,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $30,000

(3) SUPERLATIVE has been racing well vs. better and she has been showing more gate speed than in the past. This is a field she should beat and Byron will likely have her on the move early; top call. (7) CINDY LYNN set big splits early, took a tuck then re-rallied to beat easier in a good effort and she is worth using here in a spot where she should offer another good price. (9) MEMO came with a nice late rally that fell just short and he should take a slice here, too. (10) KAMERAN HANOVER is likely to rally from midpack and land in the Tri or Super.

Race 6: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 - Pick 5

(6) CLIFFHANGER drops to the bottom conditioned level here and he should get aggressively handled from the start in this race; top call. (3) NOCTURNAL BLUE CHIP raced evenly chasing a gate-to-wire class-dropping winner who wasn't slowing down. He's the other one I'll use in this late Pick 4. (2) DREAMY FELLA is improving in the Auciello barn and he may look to trip out this time; using underneath. (5) MACH CODE should leave fast for position and stick around to finish in the Super.

Race 7: NW $22,500 L5 or $28,000 L10 or NW $135,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $35,000

(8) FREE WILLY HANOVER gets away from the toughest trotters on the grounds here and he should be tough in this spot if he can get a reasonable trip starting from out there. (2) ONLY TAKE CASH also drops and she gets Henry back. She should provide a late challenge; using. (4) GRANDMA HEIDI is capable of a big speed try if she is over her sickness and she could be a good price option for multi-race tickets. (5) ON THE ROPES is in top form and he can come on late for a share despite moving up in class here.

Race 8: HARVEST SERIES 1ST LEG ONT SIRED 2YO FILLIES - Pick 4

(4) PLATINE ALPHA finished second in a track-record mile last time in Quebec and this isn't the toughest spot; top call. (3) SWEET PINK and (2) CONTROL THE THONG come out of the same race and they should both contend for the win here in a race that will likely come down to pace and trip. (1) DABARNDAWGSWATCHIN has improving form and she can sit a trip and come on late for a share.

Race 9: NW $8,100 L5 or $16,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $20,000

(1) B YOYO is stuck on one 2020 win but he isn’t likely to find a better spot to notch victory #2 and he should get an aggressive steer from McNair in this spot. (3) MISTER MAGIC was flying late last week in his first start on Lasix and he is the one the choice will likely need to fend off. (2) SOMBRE is in very good form and from an inside post here should be part of the exotics tonight. (6) MONOPOLY should be passing a few of these late and he can add some value to the Tri or Super.

Race 10: HARVEST SERIES 1ST LEG ONT SIRED 2YO FILLIES

(3) TROUBLE BREWING is a maiden still but she raced decently against Gold fillies last time and the Gallucci barn has done well recently; top call. (4) SHES A SASSY BEACH fits well vs. this group of fillies and she should be heard from tonight; using. (7) ALWAYS WATCHING tuned up for the opening leg of this stakes series with a decent try in NW2 company last week and she should be more aggressive here; using. (5) CARNIVAL HEART improved with Young in the bike last week and she is another in with a chance in a race that should have a few contenders.

Race 11: F&M NW2 or $15,000 LT

(5) PATRICIA MAE was forced to give up the lead last week despite setting big fractions and she stayed on okay for the rest of the mile. She faces an easier field here and stands a better chance of wiring this field. (4) RUBY ON RAILS continues to race well and she should be a big threat, especially if she leaves quicker which I suspect she will. (7) ROSE RUN VICTORY is another facing easier here that should hit the ticket in this spot. (1) J M BETTING HEARTS is developing a nice late kick and she should make it into the High-5. (2) SAULSBROOK FLASHY gets needed post relief and she is another to consider using on the bottom of exotic wagers.
