(2) STORMONT BARBEQUE got the clean line he needed last week in a decent effort from the 9-hole and I'll give him the call to upset here. (7) MODERN MASS has been raced aggressively the past few starts and she has been unlucky to not get a win. She is an obvious contender but could you take a low price considering that she has two wins and 17 slices in her past 30 starts? (1) EMERALD WINGS' good late kick can come into play here in a race with no standouts; using. (8) CALLISTO DREAM dug in when she needed to when she broke her maiden last time but she loses Henry tonight following a private sale that happened after that maiden win. She's not impossible here.

Race 2: PREFERRED

(2) ONEY HALL took a crack at some of the best trotters on the continent and trip just didn't work out for him at Hoosier. He is the best trotter on this circuit when he is sound and behaving and he is the one to beat here. (1) ONLY FOR JUSTICE is in sharp form and he could get a golden following trip starting from the rail and add some value to the Exacta. (8) WARRAWEE ROO got picked off very late by the tripped out (7) PERFETTO. Both are obvious exotics players again here.

Race 3: NW $5,000 L5 or $10,000 L10

On paper, (9) NOCTURNAL BLUE CHIP should crush these and I have no reason to believe that he won't; top call. (5) CAPTAIN VIDEO races well at this level usually and he should be an Exacta factor tonight. (1) SPEAKING OF ART's comeback race was good and he could sneak into the exotics at a price here. (8) OUTKAST BLUE CHIP closed nicely in his local debut and he can take another share here.

Race 4: F&M CLM HDCP $8,000 to $12,000 - Pick 4

(6) WOODMERE ROLLILY goes for Moreau off the claim in a good spot and she gets top call here. (7) SAUBLE DELIGHTFUL edged the choice last week racing in the fog and she is a threat to repeat facing many of the same mares; using. (10) LADY TO WATCH raced well but now she draws worst; small share predicted this time. (4) BLINK AND GONE goes for Tierney off the claim and he is 0 for 6 racing fresh claims so far this year. She is another one that I'd use on the bottom.

Race 5: NW $12,000 L5 or $26,500 L10 or NW5 LT AE: OPT CLM $35,000

(7) TEDDYS LITTLEANGEL drops and she gets the leading driver. That could be the recipe for a front-end score tonight; top call. I didn't mind (1) MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE's comeback race and I'll use him looking for a price in the multis. (3) REFI takes a class plunge and he could get overbet, but he is an obvious threat. (4) GP DREAMIN is in the mix every week. She should take another share here.

Race 6: 2YO Fillies NW1 or $10,000 LT - Pick 5

(5) QUEBECOISE faced the best pacing fillies around in her last two starts with predictable results. She rates highly vs. these; top call. (8) JUST CALL ME SONG had the worst trip last time and she still wasn't beaten far while pacing a 55 1/5 back 1/2. The outside post might not be bad as she might be able to find cover this time; using. (9) MOMENTARILY stayed in when the choice pulled and she was full of pace late to slide through the middle of the choice and (3) B MY SUNSHINE to get up for the win. These two fillies are in with a shot again tonight in a race with several possibilities.

Race 7: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10

When you scan this field, you realize that this is a huge class drop for (10) ROCKIN IN HEAVEN and I see him blasting to the front and leading these all the way. (7) GOING FAST also faces easier but Henry chose the choice over him; Exacta factor. (5) CORTEZ THE KILLER woke up in a big way last week and he blew up the tote board. He should be an exotics factor again. (4) MACHDAVID got pounded at the windows last week and he showed little. The leading driver sticks and I'll take that as a positive sign; using underneath.

Race 8: NW $19,500 L5 or $28,000 L10 or NW $120,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $50,000 - Pick 4

(2) MIKEY MASS keeps improving and he can beat these if he is in a live second 1/2 flow; top call. (6) INAMINUTE HANOVER tipped his hand two starts back then he exploded to a huge Grand Circuit win. He is sharp and dangerous. (7) ON THE ROPES is 2 for 2 racing out of the Marfisi barn so he is hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (3) DREAM NATION comes off a nice win but these are tougher and I'll use him on the bottom in this spot.

Race 9: CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000

(2) LEGAL BETTOR has been decent in three straight conditioned races since being claimed and I'll side with him dropping back into a claimer here in a spot where he should offer a solid price. (3) RADLEY HANOVER just took a new life’s mark in a strong effort and he is an obvious player here. (5) MAJOR HILL drops into a claimer for the first time in his 225-race career and he is sure to be heard from here (and likely get claimed). I am not prepared to take a short price on him in a spot where his form doesn’t stand out. (8) QUAN BLUE CHIP goes back to Moreau who notched three wins in five starts with him previously. He is another to consider at a price.

Race 10: Fillies and Mares CLM HDCP $13,000 to $18,000

As usual in this class, the best one IS lined up farthest outside because she is tagged with the highest claiming price. (10) HALLSGLENSMAVIS is 2 for 2 for trainer Barrington and post 10 couldn't stop her last week. A threepeat looms. (4) BAYWATCHING was hung the mile vs. the choice last week. If she blasts out of there and secures the pocket this time, she could upset at a big price; using. (6) SAULSBROOK RAVEN brings some good form with her from Flamboro Downs and she can take a slice here. (8) MISS ROCKADALI should be good for another small share in this spot.

Race 11: NW $8,900 L5 or $17,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $25,000

(5) FREE WILLY HANOVER will be hard to beat taking a sizable class drop here. He looks like a Pick 4 single to me. (4) VILLEFRANCHE AS comes off a nice effort while racing with broken equipment. She can complete another Exacta here. (2) MISTER OF ALL should sit another good following trip and come on late to take a share. (10) THEE DESPERADO was on a good roll then he broke in his last start. Give him a price look for the exotics. (7) SUPERLATIVE often gets in bad spots but she can better this placing with a good trip.
