(6) ANCIENT WALL trotted a sub-56 back 1/2 to get the job done vs. maidens and he gets the call to repeat off that strong effort. (3) SOUTHWIND CHARDNAY fits well here, and she has a good chance to take her third win of the year. An aggressive try is expected. (2) SEEKING SALVATION is only 2 for 32 but he is often in the mix, and he can take a share vs. these. (5) TITAN FLAX N gets post relief here and that gives him a better chance to contend for a slice.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GRASSROOTS LEG 5: 3YO PACING FILLIES

(1) ELISES DELIGHT, tightened vs. older rivals, should be perfectly prepped for a top Grassroots effort here; top call. (2) UNCONTROLLED got McNair and absolutely jogged and has a chance to repeat here. (6) POWDER PLAY faces tougher but she is sharp, and she gets Jamieson. She is worth a look for the exotics. (4) ALL OF ME didn’t fire as the big chalk at Hanover but she is fast enough to land in the Super.

Race 3: 5YO and younger NW2 (F&M 4) or $22,500 LT

(3) COLD SNAPS takes on sophomores here, but she is one of the fastest in here and she can win if she gets put into the race. (1) ANGELIKI raced well in defeat last week but there was a rival that stormed home that she couldn't repel. She figures to be a big threat right back here. (2) RADLIFFE raced okay in is first try at NW2. He is in the exotics mix tonight. (4) OCEANVIEW MASSEY takes frequent shares, and he is sure gaited. He is a good one to use underneath.

Race 4: F&M NW $16,000 L5 - Pick 4

(7) INTOTHEMYSTICMOON raced well in two straight but she had the misfortune of facing streaking Velvet Stinger in both those races. She has a big shot in this spot. (3) SETTN A PRECEDENT left hard for position then got buried. She is capable vs. these, and she will likely get a better trip tonight; using. (1) JM BETONSIX took a new life's mark in her second start for Cullen. She isn't out of this, and she may get a similar trip where she gets covered up until late. (2) AHOY can improve enough on the drop to take a slice.

Race 5: NW $15,000 in 2023 AE: Starters for a purse of $8K or less L2

This us a good spot for (2) O NARUTAC PERFETTO who returns from a break and gets Jamieson, who drove him in his qualifier; slight nod. (7) MISTER MAGIC has a good chance in here if he stays trotting but that is often a coin flip where he is concerned. I wouldn't take a short price. (10) BUCK DANCER is capable vs. these, and he is worth a look even from post 10. (1) PRINCE OF SUSSEX can get a share in this spot moving off post 10 tonight.

Race 6: 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 - Pick 5

(2) UGOTTALOVEBLUECHIP raced okay in his local debut for the leading trainer in a race he probably needed after missing three weeks. I'll give him a slight nod in a field with no standout. (5) NOTHING BETTOR raced first up and outfinished the choice who rode his cover. He could do here in his twelfth try at breaking his maiden. (8) SANS SOUCI was better last time, and he showed more early zip. He is in with an upset chance tonight. (3) MATTS GEM probably takes another slice in this spot.

Race 7: NW $8,700 L5 or $15,500 L10 AE: OPT CLM $45,000

(2) POINTS NORTH hasn't raced this low since October of last year and he jogged that night. He should be tough at this level. (7) HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER tried to make front last week but the leader was unyielding, and he got hung out and cooked. He will offer a good price in this second try at the class and he could get the job done if he can find the pocket leaving the gate. (4) PIPEWRENCH CHARLIE draws better, and his late kick can get him a share. (1) FLYINGEVENBETTOR N should improve enough on the drop to factor in the exotics.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GRASSROOTS LEG 5: 3YO PACING FILLIES

(6) CENTURY JAMILA is having a strong year with six wins and 10 Exacta finishes in 15 starts and she looks best here. (4) STARLIGHT DANCER adds Lasix coming off a decent try at Hanover. She should be a threat tonight; using. (1) GLENBORO is another that is in solid form, and she should get a good following trip starting from the inside; using underneath. (3) CHEDDA CHEDDA was better earlier in the season, but she is capable of taking a share at this level.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GRASSROOTS LEG 5: 3YO PACING FILLIES - Pick 4

(6) TWIN DELIGHT is 4 for 4 in these Grassroots points races which accounts for 80% of her wins this year. She draws well and she is the one to beat. (8) GRANDEUR SEELSTER has been kept razor sharp racing against older conditioned mares and she should be a big speed threat in this Grassroots dash, using. (3) SWEETEST BELLE comes off a powerful Grassroots win, adds Lasix and keeps McNair who had other options. She is another in with a shot here. (2) MENDING FENCES beat easier at Hanover. Small share predicted vs. tougher.

Race 10: F&M 5YO and younger NW $15,000 LT

(2) ZEBS BREAKING DAWN faces easier and keeps Macdonald and she will likely get more aggressive in this spot tonight; top call. (1) MULLIGAN PHILLY is another that should improve at this level. She closed a lot of ground late last week and could do here if she is closer at the head of the lane. (7) LURKINGNTHESHADOWS brings some good form north from Pennsylvania. She will be passing some of these late and is another to consider for late multi-race tickets. (3) PREMIER DELIGHT is always around the money. She is a good one to use underneath.

Race 11: F&M that have started for a purse of $9K or less in 1 of L4 AE: NW $8,250 L10 or NW $5,500 in 2023

(1) HILLBILLY JET took a new life's mark beating claimers last time and this spot doesn't look much tougher; call to repeat. (2) COZ IM SPECIAL should improve at this level tonight and Hudon will likely drive her more aggressively. She is in with a decent chance here. (7) MY ONLY SUNSHINE is dropping to a spot where Sorrie will likely send her, and she could be the one to catch at the 1/8th pole. She is another to consider for late multi-race tickets. (3) MY MOTHER PEARL tends to race better off a helmet and she will likely deploy a closing style this week. She is in the exotics mix.

Race 12: F&M 5YO and younger NW2 or $32,500 LT

(7) OCCASIONALLY SHARP comes off a decent effort in a Gold race and Borth typically gives her a chance at any class. She should be tough in here. (2) HURRIKANE MSRODINE raced tough in defeat now she goes to Auciello. The move from a conditioned claimer to NW2 should help keep her price viable; using. (5) MOMENTARY CONTROL was 2nd at this level two starts back but she is 1 for 18 lifetime and I'll use her underneath. (3) FIERY SHADOW brings good form with her from Georgian Downs, and she should be part of the exotics. (1) CAUGHTYOUPEAKING moves inside after flashing big speed from the 10-hole last week. I think she takes back and closes for a share this time.
