Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI FINAL 3YO FILLIES - Pick 5 (1) RESOLVING was never really put into the race last week but she closed well late in what should be a good tightener for this semi-final. She has been right there in her last three Grassroots starts and she gets top billing here. (8) HANG ON BABY, a 9-time winner this year, has a similar profile as the choice and she is worth a look at a price here. (9) CLOCKWORK ORANGE comes off a solid effort and she has got faster as the year progressed and she is another in with a shot here in a good betting race. (3) ANGELONIA should show speed and stick around for a share to make the final. Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI FINAL 3YO FILLIES (6) RAPTORS WON drops out of Grand Circuit and Gold races and she is the one to beat starting from the best post here. (3) DEWITT FOR JOSIE was dead game in defeat last week and she paced her fastest mile to date. She is an obvious threat here. (1) WARRAWEE XPAT met a soft Grassroots field last time and she dominated from the outset. I'm inclined to try to beat her in this spot. (7) QUEBECQUOISE will likely sit and rally for a small share here. Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI FINAL 3YO FILLIES (1) RESOLUTE BAY is on a big roll coming into this semi-final and he meets a soft field here. He should extend his win streak to four here. (2) KIPPER WHIPR SNIPR was a decent 3rd to the choice and he got a needed clean line down. He can be an Exacta factor here. (7) LENIS was a rallying 2nd in the same race and he should sit and rally for a slice tonight. (3) RADIO LAB should be in the exotics mix here moving to an inside post. Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS SEMI FINAL 3YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 4 (5) DREAMFAIR ARNIE B lays over Grassroots colts and he should have no problem beating these. (5) MARY KAT has improved sharply since Macdonald got back in the bike and I could see her being a pocket rocket this time; using. (6) CHARMBO BRIE flew late to beat the top two last week and she should offer a good price here. She's not out of this. (7) SETTN A PRECEDENT seems to have regressed since her win in the opening leg. (1) HOWYOUPLAY THEGAME has improving from and he might fall into a great following trip here lined up inside the two favorites; using.
