Race 3: F&M 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT Good race here with several options. I'll side with (1) POWDER PLAY, who appears to have been sold privately since breaking her maiden on 9/1. Race 5: Pop Up series NW $30,000 in 2022 or N/A $1,500 P/S in 2022 AE: 1st and 2nd Leg Starters (2) GOING FAST paced a sub-54 back 1/2 to win a leg of this series last week and he gets the call to repeat off that sharp win. (1) PIPEWRENCH CHARLIE tripped out and took a new life's mark. He’s obviously sharp and he can get another good trip here; using. Race 6: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $19,500 LT - Pick 5 (1) ILLUSION SEELSTER managed to close for 2nd despite being parked the whole way in a Gold race and she looks clearly best here despite facing some sophomores. (5) DIVIDE raced okay in a fast race where she was the first leader and she could be a big speed threat tonight; using. (2) FRESHEN UP is the other two-year-old in here and she is good enough to land in the Tri. (7) QUEEN OF SOUL will likely flash some speed and stick around for a share. Race 7: 3YO Fillies Grassroots Starters (4) DEWITT FOR JOSIE was out the route and she stayed game despite being uncovered. She beats these with a better trip. (2) FADE OUT made an early 3-wide bid on the final turn and she ended up covering up a filly that she passed who then rallied to nail her. That was a great effort and she is the main danger. (3) GIRL IN A TAVERN got clear sailing in mid stretch last week but she could do no better than 4th. Another small share is likely here. (1) MORETHANMYHOMETOWN can be a lot closer early here and that makes her a good one to use underneath at a price. Race 8: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $17,500 LT - Pick 4 (6) MR BEAST wasn't terrible facing Grand Circuit company last week now he is races on a 7-day rotation; top call. (3) RIDINLIKEYASTOLEIT has been facing some tough colts recently and his most recent start indicates he is improving. He has upset potential here. (7) FOX VALLEY CARLIN gets a decent post this week and his big late kick should get him a share here. (5) CONTROL THE GOLD comes off a nice effort and he should get another good trip here; using underneath. Race 9: FILLIES and MARES PREFERRED (4) WESTERN WISH is razor-sharp and she is capable of stepping up and beating these when she is at her best. I'll side with her hoping for a decent price.
