$42,000 Lexington buy (6) WICKED CRAVING is the first foal out of a dam that earned more than $800K and won several times at this track at the F&M Preferred level. This barn has had some success this year with McWicked two-year-olds and this one should offer a decent price; top call. (4) SHE PREFERS GIN has closed well in each start. One of these times she will get put into the race earlier and break her maiden, maybe tonight? (1) DEE was gifted some snail like fractions then she outsprinted her rivals to get the job done. She merits respect as the only winner in this field. (7) BETTER IN HEELS fits better here after trying the Battle of the Belles elimination. She can take a share here.

Race 2: WHENUWISHUPONASTAR FINAL: 2 YEAR OLD PACING FILLIES

(4) CANT SEE ME looks to extend her winning streak here as the probable big chalk and she is the obvious one to beat in this short field. (2) AU JUS HANOVER was content to follow along while the choice dawdled on the lead. Does she take a shot this time racing for a $68K purse? Likely, and I’m not convinced we’ve seen her best race yet; using. (3) LITTLE PAPI sat in then flew late to get 2nd. She should be part of the exotics here. (1) CHARLOTTE STATION will likely sit a trip and land a small share again.

Race 3: 2YO fillies NW1 or $10,000 LT

Determination unveils $245K Lexington buy (8) CALL YOU UP, who is a 1/2 to two that have earned more than $200K. I’ll give her a slight nod over another debutante, (6) NICE BUNS, who paced a sub-56 back 1/2 in her lone qualifier and is obviously well prepped for this initial start by trainer Beaton. (3) ODDS ON FIAT MONEY comes off a solid try and she should be in the mix again here, but I prefer to use her underneath. (1) FORREST LEAH will likely pass a few of these late and take a small slice.

Race 4: 5YO and younger NW1 or $8,500 LT AE: 3YO fillies NW $2,500 L5 - Pick 4

(8) HEAVENS COUNT finished well in his qualifier prepping to come off a brief rest and I’ll take a price stab with him in a field with no standout. (2) SEVEN SUMMERS moves into the Bax barn and gets the leading driver. She will likely take action here and she is in with a shot. (7) STORMONT CHEERIO failed as the even money chalk, but he got a rough ride from a wide post that night. That same effort can be good enough to beat these. He is hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (9) GONE GOODBYE has been taking shares every week. He should get another one here.

Race 5: 2YO colts and geldings NW1 or $10,000 LT

(7) POP ON TOP is the ninth foal from a dam that has produced all winners so far. He is by a hot first crop sire and this $75K Harrisburg Sale grad will likely offer some value on debut here; top call. $30K Harrisburg buy (2) DEVILS WISH is another McWicked offspring debuting for trainer Beaton, and he looks live in this spot; using. (4) D A LOVE BOAT produced a sub-55 back 1/2 on debut when closing from last and he is an obvious contender here, but I wonder if he will get over bet. (3) IM A PAPI HANOVER interestingly gets J Mac in this spot and that makes him worth a look for multi-race tickets.

Race 6: POP UP SERIES NW $18,000 in 2024 AE: N/A $1,500 P/S in 2024 Leg 1 - Pick 5

(2) HOWYOUPLAY THEGAME took a new life’s mark here on 7/25 when he was sent to the front early. He gets aggressive teamster Borth tonight and he may go right down the road. (1) PALLADIUM HANOVER took a shot first up in a fast mile with a good field on Monday at Grand River. He should fare better here; using. (3) HARRY G was McNair’s choice over the top pick, and he is worth a look coming off a win at Grand River. (4) GOING FAST showed some life in his last start. He can close for a small share in this spot.

Race 7: 2YO colts and geldings NW1 or $10,000 LT

(8) TWIN B FRESH BET was the first leader in his last start, but two other rivals had the same plan, and he was forced to let them both go. He lacked room in the stretch and had nowhere to go finishing with pace. He should be a big speed threat tonight. $70K Lexington buy (6) MASTER OF FIRE, full brother to $1.5 million earner Catch The Fire, will likely drop several seconds on debut and he can be an Exacta factor. (2) BRIGADE perhaps slowed it down too much in his last start and he got outsprinted for the win. He is a viable contender here. (7) ARSON SEELSTER has been racing well and he should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 8: 3YO fillies Prospect Series starters in 2024 - Pick 4

(7) CONTROL THE FIRE made a couple of moves to win at Hiawatha Horse Park in a good effort and he gets the nod in a wide-open race. (6) ANGRY ANGEL has been racing well on the B tracks and he gets McClure tonight. He’s in with a decent chance here. (3) WHERES MY PHONE should be a speed threat in this spot and McNair chose him over (2) DISTANT LOVER, who picks up aggressive teamster Davis Jr. Here are two more to consider for late multi-race tickets.

Race 9: DREAM MAKER FINAL 2 YEAR OLD OPEN PACE

(2) LITE UP THE WORLD has been used just enough to get the job comfortably done in the two preliminary legs and he will likely produce a big mile here to take this final. (5) AYEAYE CAPTAIN DEO is the only real threat to the choice on paper, but I think he comes up short and completes and Exacta that returns around even money. (6) NOVA BLU looks like a good one to round out the Tri in this spot.

Race 10: POP UP SERIES NW $18,000 in 2024 AE: N/A $1,500 P/S in 2024 Leg 1

This is a great spot for hard trying (5) MAGICAL ARTHUR and I think Macdonald sends him right down the road. (4) COLIGNY HANOVER raced better last time, and he can be an Exacta factor here making his third start off the Merner claim. (2) FROWNIES MIRACLE’s typical closing effort should net him a slice in this spot. (7) FABRIZIO N has seen better days, but his inherent class should carry him to a share in this spot.

Race 11: POP UP SERIES NW $18,000 in 2024 AE: N/A $1,500 P/S in 2024 Leg 1

(9) FOREFATHER comes off a huge effort here on 8/3 where he was placed first and he is the clear top pick. (8) CONTROL THE POWER came to life at Kawartha. 1:52 is a big mile over that 5/8ths mile oval. He could get brave here and he is the other one to consider for the late Pick 5. (1) THRILLING TIMES will likely sit another trip here and land in the top three. (3) THATLL BE TIGER should improve vs. these, but he will likely be overbet. I’ll play to beat him. (6) MOONWATCHER was in to go at Grand River Wednesday night at press time. He can close for a share here if he goes on short rest.
