Race 1: 2YO Fillies NW2 or $25,000 LT **GTD $75,000 Pick 5**

(3) SPORTS CHECK gets class and post relief and picks up Gingras. A big wakeup effort is expected here. (2) SPORTSDRINK made a huge recovery after breaking last time and she too gets to move inside here; using. (4) JOLIETTE HANOVER is perfect so far and she was bet down to odds-on both times. She is another with a big shot in a contentious opener. (6) CONTROL THE THONG was impressive last time and she is yet another Pick 5 possibility here.

Race 2: CASUAL BREEZE 3YO FILLIES

Hambletonian Oaks winner (4) SORELLA is sure to dominate this Grand Circuit race at odds-on if she stays flat. (1) DIP ME HANOVER looks next best and she is the likely beneficiary if the choice miscues again. (5) WHOSE BLUES is capable of better and she should improve and hit the board in this short field. (6) PRINCESSPARTYPANTS should be passing a couple of fillies in the back 1/2; using on the bottom.

Race 3: GOODTIMES ELIMINATION 3 YEAR OLD OPEN

(3) THREEFIFTYTWO should get a better trip here than in the Hambletonian when he was used hard early then force to chase super filly Ramona Hill. He gets top call vs. these. (6) HOT WHEELZ chased a colt that set the all-age trotting track record at Grand River. That was a good effort and he is an Exacta factor here. (9) HP ROYAL THEO is capable of contending from this post if he stays flat; using underneath. (4) CAPORNICUS gets some class relief here but he could be overbet considering he has yet to notch a win in 2020; your call.

Race 4: 5YO and Younger NW4 or $63,500 LT - Pick 4

(5) BETTORBUCKLEUP lands in a good spot where there should be ample early speed to set up his late charge; top call. (2) RHYTHM IN MOTION was going well before facing Beaumond Hanover on a wet track in Ottawa. Toss that race and he is a contender here. (1) TWIN B FRENCHTOAST is another who will likely deploy a stalking style and benefit from a solid early pace; using. (3) THE WILD CARD couldn't hold the choice off on August 1st, but he will be a speed threat again and likely hang around for a slice.

Race 5: F&M 5YO and Younger NW4 or $63,500 LT

(3) SOUND IDEA stands out here off her recent fast win over some good sophomores and she should be tough to beat. (2) MY BABY GIRL had no chance going first up into a 55 3/5 back 1/2 last week. She can be much closer here with a better trip. (8) TUAPEKA JESSIE N shoots for four straight wins here but she appeared to be looking for the line last week after enjoying the benefit of a 58-flat opening 1/2. I'll play to beat her out of the Exacta this time. (9) BACK IN THE GAME typically finishes fast and she could sneak into the Super here at a big price.

Race 6: GOODTIMES ELIMINATION 3 YEAR OLD OPEN - Pick 5

(7) READY FOR MONI - 2nd in the Hambletonian final - sticks out here on class and speed and he likely converts at odds-on. (6) PLAY TRIX ON ME is having a very good campaign and I'll use him to round out the Exacta over (3) HAYEK who will probably get overbet off his track record mile at Grand River. He may be better racing over smaller ovals. (8) HOLLYWOOD STORY exits the Hambletonian and he should be good for a slice here.

Race 7: F&M NW $16,000 L5 or $31,500 L10 or NW $110,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $35,000

(8) IVANA FLYBYE N missed four weeks between starts after sizzling in her North American debut on July 24th, now her odds are sure to climb, and she will likely be an overlay here. I'm jumping back aboard. (6) KENDALL SEELSTER drops to a logical spot and she is the obvious mare to beat in this spot. (2) GIAS SURREAL wasn't far behind the choice last time and she should get another good trip racing near the front; using underneath. (7) HELLO LOVE rarely missed the top four. Toss her in Super bets.

Race 8: CASUAL BREEZE 3YO FILLIES

(4) WARRAWEE VICKY was compromised by a fast opening 1/2 last time, but she hung in there well and she gets the nod here. (5) MODERN MASS was sharp coming off a vet scratch and her big late speed should play well here; using. (6) WINE RACK HANOVER got back on track in open company last time and she is a threat here back with her own gender. (1) SUSIES LADY should be good for a slice stepping up out of the Grassroots.

Race 9: 2YO NW $10,000 LT – Pick 4

(4) TWIN B EAGLE and (10) JIMMY CONNOR B were 1-2 and well clear of the field in a similar class here on August 13th then they both broke stride in an OSS Gold race. Assuming they both stay flat here they are likely to fight it out for the win. (2) NO PLAN INTENDED was good at Hiawatha Horse Park and I'll use him defensively in case the two choices blow up again. (3) KOMODO BEACH is well-bred and worth a look for the exotics in this debut race.

Race 10: F&M NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10

This race should come down to two mares that had tough trips from the 10-hole last time, and I'll side with (6) FRANSCHOEK who gets Gingras and should be sent right to the motor leaving the gate. (7) COUSIN MARY gets to drop again, and she should be the choice's main worry. (4) NAUGHTY LADY B is the other class dropper in here and she should work her way into the top three. (1) LYONSGIRL HANOVER is capable of better and she should get a quicker start here; using underneath.

Race 11: F&M NW $6,000 L5 or $13,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $18,000

(9) SLY ELEANOR N got her mojo back at Kawartha Downs twice throttling open company. She has beaten much better mares here in the past and is she gets a reasonable trip from out there she can win this. (1) THIS DRAGON ROCKS is usually right there when she races in this class and I'll use her in this late Pick 4. (4) SUNDAY AFTERNOON made a couple of moves and finished evenly against a tough winner. She should be a threat here racing from close range. (8) JIMBELINA drops and she should be in the mix for at least a share.

Race 12: F&M NW $10,000 L5 or $20,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $25,000

(7) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP dropped and popped in impressive fashion and she gets the call to repeat staying at the same level. (3) SKATER CHICK is the obvious main danger on the class drop. (4) WESTBEACH gets beneficial post and driver changes here and she could add value to the exotics. (10) LOVELY DONNA has plenty of class for these but getting the 10-hole coming off a race where she broke stride is a concern. (1) CATCH AN ACE can rally for a small share here.
