(5) HESINCONTROL came from the clouds to beat many of these when finishing 2nd last week and he had to alter course in midstretch, too. He can win this if he lays a bit closer this week. (7) THE LEGEND HANOVER raced better and he cut some big splits last week and was only nailed late by the choice. He is probably the one to beat here. (3) MR CHARISMA closed at 2 to 1 last time he dropped into this class and he showed little; using underneath only. (9) URASURPRISETOME looked all done on the turn then he re-rallied to finish okay last week. He can take a slice here.

Race 2: Ont. Sired 2YO Fillies Grassroots starters NW1 or $8,900 LT

(8) NOVELLA SEELSTER almost held off a big chalk last time in a Grassroots race and she looks best here. (2) FEEL ITINYOURHANDS seems to be coming around for trainer Hebert and her good late kick should play well here; upset chance. (4) RIBBON RIDGE was first up in a race where the late pace didn't slow and she is another in with a chance here. (5) GALLERIA SEELSTER gets post relief and she is worth a look for the exotics in here.

Race 3: NW $3,300 L5 or $7,700 L10

(2) STORMONT VENTNOR last raced at this level seven starts back and he was an easy winner that night, and he beat a better field that night than the one he faces here. He should be tough to beat tonight. (8) ANGRY EYES rallied well racing one class higher now she drops again. She should be an Exacta factor. (3) STORMONT CHARLOTTE has improving from and I can see her taking another share tonight. (1) MUSICAL SPELL quite often hits the ticket at a big price. Consider him for the bottom of Tri and Super bets.

Race 4: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $35,000 LT - Pick 4

(1) CENTURY HANNIBAL blasted for position from the 9-hole, then chased a 1:49 3/5 winner around the track. He should have a big shot vs. these. (6) FOREFATHER faced much tougher at the Meadows and he wasn't disgraced. He is the other obvious contender here. (5) DAVID LLOYD GEORGE won well off the Bako claim as expected now he is protected in a tough spot. He will have a chance if he improves again tonight. (4) PERFECTBOY HANOVER can take another share using his good late kick.

Race 5: F&M NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10

(2) T C SCANDAL paced the fastest mile of her 150-race career last week but she could do no better than 4th in a race dominated by a vicious Sporty Tori. She fits better here and she should be able to stalk and pounce. (9) SAUBLE DELIGHTFUL is worth a price look racing off the Barrington claim tonight. (4) QUESO RELLENO races well at this level and she should be in the exotics mix again. (3) SHEMARS LADY HAVOC raced her eyeballs out in defeat last week and she should be in the Tri or Super again tonight.

Race 6: Claiming $17,500 for NW $75,000 LT - Pick 5

Both (4) FRONTIER CRUISE and (2) YARIS SEELSTER were claimed out of the same fast mile by trainer Barrington and either or both should improve in this spot. Slight nod to the former who will likely get better position early but using both on multi-race tickets. (3) BETTORS VICTORY comes up tagged for the first time in several starts and his trainer has been going well recently; using. (5) MY LAND finished ahead of the top two choices and he is another one that's in with a shot here.

Race 7: Fillies and Mares 5YO and Younger NW3 or $63,000 LT

(5) NICE KITTY HANOVER uncorked a huge lifetime-best winning mile last week and if there is a reasonable pace set in front of her, she will be tough to beat here. (1) AMINI raced tough Sunday night in Ottawa and she is the obvious threat. (2) MYWISHLISTFORYOU was a good 2nd to the choice and she figures to take another good share tonight. (4) OFF THE RECORD had to wait for room but she did have clear sailing late and she was no match for the choice. I'll play to beat her again.

Race 8: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $24,000 LT

(4) BELINA lands in what looks to be an easier spot tonight and she should be tough to beat racing on or near the lead. (2) BUMP IN THE ROAD was perfectly tripped out to win by McNair last week. She races best with him driving and a repeat is possible here. (1) ADASHIOUS HANOVER took a while to break her maiden, but she was looked good doing. Now, she has missed 24 days so I wouldn't take a short price here. (3) POSTSCRIPT moves to Budd's barn and she picks up the leading driver. She could wake up in this spot at a price.

Race 9: NW $3,800 L5 or $7,000 L10 - Pick 4

(2) FOOT SOLDIER raced better last week even though he didn't get the job done as the 7 to 5 chalk. He should be ready to win now. (1) ROYAL RENEGADE drops and he could get more aggressive earlier in the mile tonight. He is another multi-race option. (7) IM NOT BAD flew late to nail the choice for 2nd last week but he often puts himself in bad spots far behind the leaders. I'll use him underneath here. (4) DREAMFAIR MOXY is worth a look moving into Budd's barn and he qualified well for this.

Race 10: F&M NW $15,000 L5 or NW $28,000 L10 or NW $165,000 LT AE: NW1 in 2021

(7) LAURAS LOVE didn't do much in her three starts this year but judging by the back 1/2 and final 1/4 of her August 17th qualifier, she might be feeling like her old self now. I'll give her the nod in a class she could dominate with her best effort. (1) BETTER BE DONNA N raced big in defeat last week and she could do here if she gets a better trip. (8) TANGO DANCER N showed improvement last week and she was live at the wire; upset chance. (9) ROSE RUN VICTORY is one that I tabbed last week because she was loaded with pace and had to change course several times in the lane looking for room. She is hard to back on top from post 9, however because she will have so many to pass to get the win; small share predicted.

Race 11: Ont. Sired 3YO Grassroots Starters in 2021 NW $10,000 L5

Tough race here with no horse having finished better than fifth in their most recent start. I'll side with (6) SARATOGA BLUE CHIP, who has ramped up his late speed in his past few starts and should be right there vs. these. (3) LAST BET gives me the feel of one that Henry will try to send down the road from his good post tonight; using. (1) MUSTANG BEACH gets McNair for the first time which is often a potent angle. That's enough for me to add him to multi-race tickets. (2) KINCAID SEELSTER shows some good tries two and three starts back vs. maidens. I'll use him underneath.

Race 12: F&M NW $9,200 L5 or $17,000 L10 or NW 5 or $86,500 LT

(6) SPORTY TORI dominated lesser when taking a new lifetime mark last week and off that sharp effort she gets the call to repeat. (7) TOWN DELINQUENT produces a good late kick for McNair and she will pass them all one of these weeks; maybe tonight? (2) TWIN B TIPSTER has shown in the past that she fits well at this level and she is in with an upset chance here. (5) KAT never misses a check. She should be part of the High-5. (4) SUNDAY AFTERNOON couldn't go with the choice late in the mile last week. I'll use her on the bottom here.
