(1) SHESAMANALISHI is well overdue to pop again this year. She gets major post relief and could pick off the leader with the right trip. (8) STABLE GENIUS rebounded nicely last week and just missed after being pressured for most of the mile. He should get another forward trip tonight. (9) BUTTINSKI is having a pretty good 2026 campaign to this point and is currently in form that should have him right there with these.

Race 2: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 (OS 4) RACES OR $20,000 (OS $32,000) LIFETIME.

(3) A SPLASH OF GREEN moved to the lead on the backstretch but was ultimately tracked down by a third back Upto Laura Hanover. No shame in back-to-back seconds against sharp fillies. (6) SOCIAL WIZARD rallied nicely after an early miscue. She gets away from the rail and could show gate speed this week. (1) WILD ROSE HANOVER continues to race well and pick up checks. I’ll look for her to pass a couple more horses this week and get a piece.

Race 3: POP UP SERIES: F&M STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $11,000 OR LESS LAST 3 STARTS (W/O $40,000 IN 2026 N/E). AE:N/A $1,500 P/S IN 2026 (MIN 10 STARTS). LEG 2.

(8) THE LIES WE TELL has posted two nice rallies since being claimed and could pick off a pair of front-running rivals who tend not to close out their miles. (9) COLD CREEK ESPERO was following live cover and showed that she belongs against these. I think the outside flow moves well again. (6) LADYTERRA should blast again given this draw but she was pleading for the wire last week. She’ll need to work just as hard in leg two.

Race 4: PEACEFUL WAY ELIMINATION: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES. STARTING FEE $2,000 CDN $1,550 USD.

(4) CITY OF LIGHT gets her first stakes test after a dominating score at Chester. I’ll look for her to take that next step. (3) ATHENAS GIRL put it all together in her latest and showcased what potential she has. Dunn and Melander are a feared duo. (7) MAJOR CONTENDER should provide the best punch of the provincial fillies and could definitely capitalize if the shippers aren’t at their best.

Race 5: WHENUWISHUPONASTAR FINAL: 2 YEAR OLD PACING FILLIES. STARTING FEE $1,000 CDN $775 USD.

(6) MERICANA HANOVER didn’t pull to the outside on the backstretch and couldn’t find room until it was too late. A better trip gets her the win. (8) LYONS CARIEMONTANA was left alone on the lead and wired the field. Hard to ignore an effort like that regardless of last week’s race feeling like a prep. (3) MAURITIUS could spice up exotics if she gets away a little closer. Her effort two starts ago would fit very well tonight.

Race 6: PEACEFUL WAY ELIMINATION: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES. STARTING FEE $2,000 CDN $1,550 USD.

(1) NEVIS PEAK adds Lasix after being picked off by the unbeaten Wall Of Fame. Her versatility and raw talent makes her a big threat. (2) VERILY got back to form last week in a race that included a nice second over trip. I think she continues to progress if she minds her manners. (8) REBEL MOON feels like a threat to trip out again given recent events and J-Mac should be pressing the pedal early from outside.

Race 7: DREAM MAKER FINAL: 2 YEAR OLD OPEN PACE. STARTING FEE $1,000 CDN $775 USD.

(2) SHALOM HANOVER has performed like one of the top colts in the division and I don’t see why that would stop here. (3) NINELEVEN HANOVER has done little wrong thus far but was trounced by Shalom Hanover when they first met. I expect him to track the big favorite for the majority of the mile. (6) HAMILTON HANOVER has flashed potential in limited outings but needs to start figuring out how to pass horses. Another final quarter sprint likely leaves him chasing for a piece.

Race 8: WILLIAM WELLWOOD ELIMINATION: 2 YEAR OLD OPEN. STARTING FEE: $4,000 CDN $3,100 USD.

(8) DATA BREACH was charging home on debut and showed some potential. A step forward gives him a chance to upset. (1) GIOS HOPE has stamped himself as a main contender in the NYSS ranks with his only defeat coming when he was parked the mile. (4) NEW HOPE is a progressing colt who draws well and gets an interesting driver switch. He could spice up exotics.

Race 9: FILLIES & MARES OPEN.

(5) UNREASONABLE has been butting heads with some of the top mares around and is likely to get a good trip in her Mohawk return. (6) LETS N JOY N has been left chasing a razor-sharp Absolution in her last two Open outings. A front-end trip could change her fortunes. (2) ULTIMATE DESBI N parlayed a forward trip into a nice second place finish. Her stretch kick can get her a piece no matter where she gets away.

Race 10: WILLIAM WELLWOOD ELIMINATION: 2 YEAR OLD OPEN. STARTING FEE: $4,000 CDN $3,100 USD.

(6) DETONATER HANOVER was a strong winner in the Millard Farms and shows no signs of slowing down despite some outside shippers. (4) TOP REACHER is one new shooter who has been solid in New Jersey and Kentucky. He should slot right in. (1) LINCOLN KRONOS got away closer to the leaders and found an easier group. That combo allowed him to get his first career win. I’ll use him underneath tonight.

(8) KIERA SEELSTER was rallying nicely once she got to the outside. I could see a speed try parlaying into a win. (4) ETERNAL DELIGHT held off all rivals on the lead in leg one. She draws well again tonight and should secure a good early spot. (6) WICKED N SINGLE certainly knows when she’s at the right class level. I don’t mind her here but a grinding trip may not be the best option.

Race 12: FILLIES & MARES, 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW $20,000 (ON SIRED $30,250) LIFETIME.

(4) LADY CENTURY worked out a nice trip last week and was able to hold off a rival who was coming up the inside. She rebounded nicely; I’ll give her the nod to repeat. (5) TAINTED LOVE was placed the winner in the August 7 race with the wicked fractions. We’ll see if another off-the-pace try is in the cards. (7) ANNIES DIVA just missed last week but is getting closer to a win. Some gate speed could help her secure a decent early spot.
