Meet Stats: 163 – 477 / $917.00 (-$37.00) Best Bets: 22 – 44 / $86.80 (-$1.20) Spot Plays: 17 – 44 / $122.00 (+$34.00) Best Bet: BETTOR SUN (11TH) Spot Play: BIKINI GENIE (1ST) Early Pick 5: 3,5,9/1,5,6,7/2/1,6,7/1,6,10 = $21.60 Late Pick 5: 1,4/2,4/1,2/1,2/4,5 = $6.40 Early Pick 4: 1,6,7/1,6,10/1,4/2,4 = $36 Late Pick 4: 1,2/1,2/4,5/5 = $8   Race 1: Ont. Sired 2YO Fillies Grassroots Starters NW1 or $7,000 **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5** (9) BIKINI GENIE has been around the money in her Grassroots starts and coming off a race where she flashed gate speed, she has the feel of one that Henry will blast to the front with and lead all the way; top call. (3) BEST WATCH OUT showed a little late zip in her first start for Moreau and she has upset potential; using. (5) STRAIGHT TALKER will likely be driven more aggressively from an improved post tonight and that gives her a chance to take a maiden win. (10) DAY TO PARTY is another with improving form that is worth a look for the Pick 5. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 2YO FILLIES (6) DABRA DAY is the fastest filly in here and she will be tough to beat if she stays flat. (7) GRACE is another coming off a break but she obviously has talent and she will contend if she stays flat here. (1) CLASSIC MAGIC was leading a Gold when she broke and this race could come down to a war of attrition with so many of the contenders coming off breaks. (5) ELEGANT MERMAID makes it a clean sweep of fillies coming off a break in stride in the top four picks here. It makes sense to go deep for Pick 5 tickets. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS (2) JIMMY CONNOR B made a phenomenal wide move in the final 1/4 just to get 4th in a 12-horse Gold field and he should boss these Grassroots rivals tonight. (9) NO PLAN INTENDED paced the fastest mile in the history of Dresden Raceway when he obliterated Grassroots foes and he should be the main danger here if there is going to be one. (3) METALLICA has improving form and he should be in the Tri tonight. I'd rate (10) PROLINE higher from a better post but from out there I can only use him on the bottom in this spot. Race 4: F&M NW $15,500 L5 or $33,500 L10 or NW $130K LT AE: OPT CLM $35,000 - Pick 4 (6) ROSE RUN VICTORY is going to be a big price here stepping up to face droppers but she is razor-sharp and she could eke out an upset win if she gets the right setup; price play. (7) TREACHEROUS REIGN should improve on the class drop having had a race over the track; using. (1) KENDALL SEELSTER was a winner here two starts back at this level and she is another obvious threat on the class drop. (2) BETTER BE DONNA N raced tough uncovered on the rim last week and she should land in the Super here. Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS (1) SALTWATER SAVAGE got a good tightener in last week now he returns to a 7-day cycle in a spot where he should get a setup; top call. (10) P L OZZY took some Gold rivals for a fast ride to the 3/4 pole before raising the white flag. He is obviously a better fit in Grassroots; using. (6) STONEBRIDGE REX produced a good effort from post 9 last week and he has been unlucky to have not won a race yet this year. He has upset potential here. (4) LORD ANTHONY could get overbet off a fast win in which he wasn't challenged. In these Grassroots events, they race. I'll use him on the bottom. Race 6: F&M NW $8,500 L5 or $17,500 L8 or NW $85,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $20,000 - Pick 5 This looks like a good spot for (4) SOMEWHERE NORTH, who raced well against two tough mares last week. She can beat these racing on or close to the lead. (1) LADY ROCKNROLLA A wasn't far from winning racing from the 10-hole in this class last week and she is worth a long look for the exotics. (2) MIA CULPA is sharp and she draws well too; using underneath. (7) TOWN DELINQUENT should rebound here with a better effort after failing as the chalk, likely changing tactics, but I prefer to use her underneath. Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 2YO FILLIES (4) ADARE CASTLE has been dominant in both starts and she might be up to the challenge of facing (2) ROSE RUN XCENTRIC who holds the fastest mark in the race. Nod to the former but using both in the Pick 4. (1) MISCHEVIOUS ROSE broke while moving on the last turn in her first start for Determination following a private sale. She will be a big price her and she can sneak into the exotics if she stays flat. (3) FELT TIP MARKER is improving but she faces a tall task here and a small share is likely her ceiling. Race 8: F&M PREFERRED - Pick 4 (2) LIT DE ROSE did her best to close into a 54 4/5 back 1/2 last week, but the leader wasn't going to be caught. With some new shooters lined up tonight, she should get a favorable pace scenario; top call. (1) SO MUCH MORE is well on her way to defending her 2020 'O Brien Award for top older pacing mare as she brings her 'A' game every week. She is hard to toss. (3) MARLOE HANOVER shipped to Georgian and broke the track record last Saturday. She is another to consider. (7) GIAS SURREAL ships north after facing some of the toughest mares around, but her rivals tonight are no powder puffs. She might get overbet here and I'll play to beat her. Race 9: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 (2) JUMPSHOT was overbet last week based on a traffic-filled trip vs. better the week before, but he gets to drop again and he looks best here; top call. (1) SOMBRE was close at this level two starts back and he picks up McClure here; using. (4) BLACK TIE BASH can contend at this level if he stays flat. He could be a good price option for the late Pick 4. (8) KASHE is in great form now and she regularly passes horses. She might sneak into the Super. Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter Race 10: F&M NW $5,100 L5 or $13,600 L10 (4) T C SCANDAL had her win streak broken when she went to Georgian Downs and raced against a mare who broke the track record. That rival is in the Mares Preferred tonight. This one gets top call in this dash. (5) SPORTY TORI fits well here and she picks up Jamieson who should give her an aggressive steer; using. (2) KAT is right there every week but she is more likely to take a small share. (1) SUNDAY AFTERNOON steps back up off a nice win but she too figures for the bottom of the exotics. Race 11: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS (5) BETTOR SUN was part of a wicked early pace in the Milstein at Northfield Park on Saturday then he got stuck behind a stopping leader. He wasn't going to touch the winner but he could have been closer if he had clear sailing. He should rebound and take these Grassroots foes coast-to-coast. (10) CANTSTOPLYING was a distant 2nd to the choice two starts back and he is at a post position disadvantage here. I can only use him underneath. (7) TWIN B EAGLE has a nice late kick when he behaves and he could close for a piece of this. (4) CONTROL HEAVEN looks sharp coming into this off a qualifier and he can take a share. (9) ARMOR SEELSTER will be winding up from far back again. I see him finishing on the edges.
