(8) DELIGHT BAYAMA made an ill-advised early three-wide move and got hung out which made her easy pickings for (5) RAPTORS WON in the lane last week. Expecting a better trip and smarter drive, I'll give the former the nod tonight. (10) QUEBECOISE paired 1:51 2/5 miles and she is razor-sharp but she draws wide and she obviously has her sights set on the Grassroots championship. I'd demand a price from this post in this spot. (1) DEWITT FOR JOSIE is improving and she should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 2: Pop-Up Series Consolation

(1) HANG ON BABY takes quite a drop here having faced the best sophomore filly trotter in Canada in her most recent start and she gets top billing. (2) SOMBRE was good last week, showing speed both early and late and he should be the main threat. (5) GLIDER MAN is sure to get sent forward early by McNair but I prefer to use him underneath tonight. (7) GREAT MAGIC should flash some early speed and stick around for a share.

Race 3: F&M NW $15,000 L5 or $25,000 L8 or NW $150,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $75,000

(8) HOT MESS EXPRESS tried the Lady Liberty on Hambletonian day with no success but her winning effort two starts back shows she can still beat these types; top call. (2) WESTERN WISH was never put in a position to win when her stablemate sped away from the field last week. She should offer a big price here facing tougher and she is in with a shot. (4) TRAFALGAR took a new life's mark winning that race and she is sharp and dangerous. (5) MIA CULPA is in the exotics mix dropping in class tonight.

Race 4: 3YO Fillies - Pick 4

(5) SPEAKER NANCY has produced sub-1:52 speed on this track in six straight starts and she fits well here moving to a better post after flying home for 4th last week; top call. (7) SHANGHAI SEELSTER just beat a solid field of aged mares in the slop in fast time at Pocono. She has been a win machine this week and she's an obvious threat in here. (4) IN THE MOOD was on too much cover last week. Starting from a better post here, she is in with a chance. (3) GOUDAWON is in the mix every week and she had a tough trip last time. She is another that could do here.

Race 5: F&M 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,000 LT

(9) ARKELL was bet like she couldn't lose on the class drop to NW2 last week but the trip never worked out. She will offer a much higher price now and I'll give her the nod in a wide-open race. (8) IVORY HANOVER raced well in defeat when she finished ahead of the choice and she should be a threat here. (6) IM ON THE EDGE won at this level three starts back and she will likely last much longer dropping back to this NW2 level. (3) PREMIER SWEETALKER should pass a few of these and land in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 6: Pop-Up Series Consolation - Pick 5

(7) WHAT A RUSH has improving form, he gets the leading driver and he will likely get a setup for his late kick tonight; top call. (6) CONQUEST AS flashed speed last week and now he adds Lasix. I can see him lasting longer on the engine here; using. (4) PRINCESSPARTYPANTS was game in defeat last week. She should be part of the Tri here. (3) COLD RAGE is another that will be in the exotics mix if he stays flat tonight.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD Third Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings

(5) STOCKADE SEELSTER is the king of this castle until another colt takes him down. He should get a good test from unbeaten (1) WRITE ME A ROSE tonight but he should be up to it. The latter has looked good so but he will likely need to drop a second to take the choice down tonight. (4) THONG CONTROL would be four for five if not for two bad trips three and four starts back. He should get a good share tonight. (8) SANTANA HANOVER went a huge parked-out trip in the Battle of Waterloo final; price look.

Race 8: Pop-Up Series Final - Pick 4

(1) YES was dominant in last week's leg of this series and more of the same is likely coming tonight; top call and multi-race single. (7) SHES GOT PIZAZZ is a perfect 3 for 3 heading into this final but she will likely have her hands full with the choice here. (4) HAWAII was on the choice's cover last week but she couldn’t go with him late. I'll use her underneath here. (6) MYSTIC was good last week but he won the weaker division. I'll use him on the bottom here.

Race 9: FILLIES and MARES OPEN

Post position could mean everything here because it will likely shape trips. I'll side with (5) SHES NUN BETTOR N, who will probably blast right to the front from the middle of the gate. (2) SO MUCH MORE shoots for a threepeat but I wonder if she lands 3rd early starting from an inside post which could lead to an overland trip. It's redundant to say she is obviously capable considering how many times she has won at this level. (1) VOELZ DELIGHT was good last week but she steps back into the deep end again here. I'll use her underneath. (3) KICKUPYAHEELS N is another that should finish on the edges stepping back up into the Open.

Race 10: F&M NW $3,000 L5 or $12,350 L10 AE: OPT CLM $20,000 or Starters for a purse of $5,000 or less L3

(4) DARKRSHADEOFPALE N paired 1:52-flat miles in her last two and if she produces a similar effort here on the class drop, she should get the job done. (6) IMSHORTANDSWEET N should wake up tonight getting both class and post relief and I see Henry getting aggressive with her leaving the gate. She will be on my late multi-race tickets. (7) GOT SEXY SCARS came close the last time Macdonald drove and he returns to the bike here; price look. (9) MY BABY GIRL is in solid form but from the widest post I will play to beat her in this spot.

Race 11: F&M NW $7,600 L5 or $12,000 L10 AE: NW1 in 2022

(6) DABARNDAWGSWATCHIN drops, draws best, and gets the potent "first time McNair angle" tonight. I think she erases the goose egg in the 2022 win column. This looks like a spot where (2) JUST DAISY floats out in the top four, moves to the front after the dust settles, and tries to lead the rest of the way. She will likely be the one to catch. (5) CHIEFS DREAM GIRL was very good last week dominating at the bottom level but this is a much tougher field; using underneath. (3) MARY KAT should be in the exotics mix dropping and getting J Mac back. (1) JM BETONSIX has improving form and she can sit and rally for a slice tonight.
