(4) DRAWN IMPRESSION couldn't be bred much better and she indicated her talent in her lone qualifier. She gets top call in the opener. (8) TWIN B FLING was a first up winner in her second start, and she should be the main threat. (9) SHORT CHANGED raced okay on debut in the Pure Ivory series and she has the gate speed to get position early. She could do here if Filion works out a good trip for her. (6) TACTICAL PRINCESS raced well in defeat to the choice. She is in the exotics mix again.

Race 2: 2YO colts and geldings NW2 or $15,000 LT

(6) STORM SHADOW took plenty of action on debut and he prevailed. Assuming he is being sent forward off the gate in a race where intent is a question mark for the Gold colts, I’ll give him the nod to repeat. (2) CHAIN GANG returns from a bout of sickness, and he is obviously talented enough to win this, but he could need this race. Your call. (1) WIKIPEDIA is obviously one of the best ones in here, but I don't love the rail post for him considering the way he typically starts. I'd be careful to not take a short price here. (4) BEST NIGHT EVER should be in the mix if he stays flat tonight.

Race 3: 2YO colts and geldings NW1 or $5,000

$235K Lexington buy (1) CAPTAINS QUARTERS is by a top sire and out of a mare that is the daughter of prolific broodmare Precious Beauty. This is a good spot for his debut; top call. (6) WATCHING SUNSET comes off a strong Grassroots effort and he gets his nose back on the gate tonight. He should be the main threat here. (2) EXACTLY MY TYPE is due to get a better trip. I'll use him at a price in the early Pick 4. (4) MOONWALKER should improve facing straight maidens here. He is another in with a shot.

Race 4: 5YO and younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 LT - Pick 4

(4) CRYSTAL BALLER gets a big driver change to Henry after getting an inside trip last time. It should be all systems go for him tonight. (5) BRACE FOR LANDING faces tougher here but he is an obvious threat coming in off a sharp win; using. (9) LASTKICKATHECAN is right there every week, and she figures to get at least a share here. (3) CRAFT MADE has been underwhelming to this point considering he cost $610,000. I'll play to beat him coming off a break in stride.

Race 5: NW $3,950 L5

This is a big drop for (10) GRATEFUL, and he should get the job done here despite starting from the 10-hole. (9) BUCK DANCER's first start back wasn't terrible, and I can see him improving enough to be an Exacta factor tonight. (7) MARVIN HAGLER got a confidence boosting win at Grand River. His best puts him in the exotics. (5) STORMONT MOLLY as the morning line favorite is one I have to fade here.

Race 6: 2YO colts and geldings NW1 or $5,000 LT - Pick 5

(8) IFTHASRITTHATSRONG finished strongly in his debut vs. Grassroots colts. He has a good chance to graduate here getting his nose back on the gate. (5) HARBORLITE AMBROSE comes off a good first up effort on the same card and he should be the main danger. (7) JULIUS HANOVER is a $13K yearling buy that is a 1/2 to Joyride Hanover (27-7-3-7, $254K, 1:51 2/5 F). He is worth a look on debut here. (6) ROB choked and fell in his last start so he will likely be carefully driven here; using underneath.

Race 7: F&M 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 LT

(8) TOP SHELF blasted for the front but got pushed three-wide and was forced to take the pocket. Then, the 1 to 5 chalk brushed from third to the front and this filly made another move to challenge first-over, eventually tiring to finish 3rd. I like her chances to get a much better trip tonight and prevail. (6) WATCH HER DEWITT git a better trip and outfinished the choice as a result. She could be an underlay here. $50K London sale purchase (1) AVAS ANGEL BABY debuts here and she should be good enough to take a share at first asking. (7) DEADLY DELIGHT drops from the Grassroots and she can take a slice here.

Race 8: F&M NW $9,550 L5 - Pick 4

(5) MYSTIFYING fires back in four days after disappointing at five cents to the dollar at Grand River. She can rebound here back racing on the big track. (3) INTOTHEMYSTICMOON figures to be the main danger on the drop. Hudon should put her into this race early. (7) SUNSHINE SALLY was third to the choice in a fast mile two starts back and she can be an exotics factor in this spot. (6) MS QUICK SAND should get positioned near the front early and stick around for a share.

Race 9: FILLIES and MARES PREFERRED

(1) SO MUCH MORE skipped traveling to Ohio due to the heat and she is obviously the one to beat vs. the locals. (3) DABARNDAWGSWATCHIN was a game 2nd to the mare that went on to impressively win the Lady Liberty on Hambletonian day, but she has had trouble beating the choice in the past. She is the logical alternative. (6) POWERED BY MACH is on a roll and she is fast. She can land in the money despite stepping up to the top class tonight. (4) WESTERN WISH is 3rd or 4th every week it seems. She is a good one to use on the bottom.

Race 10: F&M 5YO and younger NW $15,750 LT

(9) OCCASIONALLY SHARP has been going great and Borth is a good partner for her. She can take air and keep coming and she gets top billing here. (4) ZEBS BREAKING DAWN is hot, and she just won at 1 to 5. She is the obvious threat to the choice. (3) MOONLIT AFFAIR was a game winner then she was set back for a pylon violation. She is another in with a shot here. (6) TESLA POWER can improve enough adding Lasix to land in the Super tonight.

Race 11: F&M 5YO and Younger NW2 or $30,000 LT

(8) MIST AMBER got an impossible trip last time. She gets a slightly better post and I'll side with her in a wide-open race. (3) PROVE EM WRONG comes off a good 2nd to Mollop Hanover and she is a threat here. (4) BLUE GLAMBER is capable of better, and she may show it tonight starting from a better post; using. (1) GRANDEUR SEELSTER comes off her best effort of the year, but she will likely get overbet here. I'll play to beat here from the rail. (5) KUPER TROOPER will likely close late for another small share.
