Race 1: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings **$100,000 Guaranteed Pick 5**
(4) SILK ROAD SMASH goes for connections that have already unveiled a couple of good rookies and she looks well prepared for this debut; top call. (1) UP THE CREEK could do no better than third despite pacing a 27 kicker after controlling the pace in his debut. That experience should help here and he could do with a different trip. (7) BOB LOBLAW didn't have much go right in his debut but he did flash some sharp late pace and he is a contender here. (3) RAISING SAND is another who should improve in this second start; using on the bottom.

Race 2: 2YO NW2 LT
(4) BABY MIA is from the first crop of a hot trotting sire and going for one of the top barns he should have a good chance on debut. (1) SAMOSA showed some late interest in a fast race and she can build from that experience. She should contend vs. these. (7) HP MAESTRO is the stablemate to the choice and he will be dangerous based on his lone qualifier; using. (3) ROLLING IN CLOVER's qualifiers in Ottawa were good and he can be a speed presence here although I prefer to use him underneath.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings
(6) KOLBY TWO STEP looked good kicking into high gear and powering away from his rivals to win his debut; call to repeat. (9) GOOGLE MY CHROME was a bit faster than the choice as he cut swifter fractions and he is a threat right back. (1) MAYOR OFTHEMOMENT showed some talent down south and he should be part of the exotics if he stays flat here. (2) SUGARDADDYCONTROLS has finished well enough to suggest he can take a share here on debut.
Race 4: NW $5,000 L5 or $10,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $18,000 - Pick 4
(4) WARRAWEE ROO takes a big class drop here and he should be tough to beat at a short price. (2) INTENSE JUSTICE wheels right back after racing a tough uncovered trip here on Tuesday night. These are tougher, but he could sneak into the Exacta. (7) CONQUEST AS should find this company more to his liking and he can be a speed threat tonight. (9) MAGIC NIGHT can take a share here racing close to the front.
Race 5: F&M NW $9,250 L5 or $18,000 L10 or NW $70,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $20K
Tough race. I'll side with (2) MY BABY GIRL who drops and should get a much better trip starting from an inside post. (8) SOMEWHERE NORTH is a win machine that faces better here in her four-year-old debut, but she could be faster now, too; using. (4) BORN A DRAGON is another dropper that merits a long look for multi-race tickets. (1) GOODNIGHT IRENE was sharp in her comeback race. She's not out of this very contentious race.
Race 6: F&M 5YO and Younger NW3 or $57,000 LT - Pick 5
(4) SMILE BY THE BEACH moves up off a narrow defeat but this isn't the toughest looking NW3 and this filly is razor-sharp; slight nod. (2) NICE KITTY HANOVER didn't get involved early enough on the sloppy track last time. She should be right there vs. these. (1) SPELLCHECK HANOVER is capable of beating these on her best day but coming off a sick scratch I'd demand a price. (5) DOCS HARMONY can take a small share in this second start back.
Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings
(10) STEWS WATCHING was a beast here qualifying on July 2nd and post 10 might not matter for him here; top call. (1) ATS HANOVER had sharp speed both early and late in his debut and he is the one to fear; using. (2) HASHTAG WATCH ME can build off a good debut race in which he was flying late and he should be in the exotics mix tonight. (4) BOOTLEGGER CHARLIE was a nice winner in Ottawa now he picks up hot driver Macdonald. I prefer to use him on the bottom in this field.
Race 8: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000)
(10) THE PRINCE comes in off a huge effort and if he can work out a reasonable trip from out there, he should be tough to beat tonight. (9) MODERN MASS made two moves to win at this level and he is the main foe on paper but he is another dealing with an outer post. (2) SPARTAN GENERAL is capable vs. this group if he can stay flat. He might get a great stalking trip this week; using. (1) L DEES PATRICK comes off a nice win when he was bet like he couldn’t lose. He should be in the mix again.
Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 4
(5) CONTACT ZONE is a $175,000 Harrisburg Sale purchase by top sire Bettor's Delight that goes for connections that send them ready to win early and he gets top call here on debut. (2) CENTURY INVICTUS turned up his game here on July 2nd qualifying in 1:55 2/5 and he appears to be improving quickly. He should be a threat. (6) HEAD OF THE TABLE, a $50,000 Lexington Sale purchase, is a full-brother to 1:49 3/5 pacer Table Talk. He should have more speed than he showed in his two qualifiers and he is in with a chance on debut. (4) GOLDEN TICKET should improve in this second start; using on the bottom.
Race 10: FILLIES AND MARES PREFERRED HANDICAP
(7) SO MUCH MORE got a week's vacation when this class wasn't carded last week. She should pick up right where she left off and resume her winning ways. (5) LIT DE ROSE was airborne late in the stretch and she fell one stride short of knocking off a game (6) MARLOE HANOVER. Both are viable options if you are looking to try to beat the choice. (4) KARMA SEELSTER is always in the mix for a share and she should be in the Tri or Super again.

Race 11: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES Grassroots 2YO Colts and Geldings
(7) HIGHBORN exits some fast races down south and this is the type that Team McNair clicks with in a sires stakes debut; top call. (5) SPORT ADDICTION brought more than $37K at the London Selected Sale and he looks ready to roll here; using. (2) STONEBRIDGE HELIOS is the other one that qualified impressively and he is on my late Pick 4 tickets. (3) THORNBURY can pass a few rivals late again and take a slice.
Race 12: F&M NW $5,500 L5 or $10,625 L10
(7) ALLEYESONME AS had some good late zip last week but she just had too many to pass as the pace accelerated. She can pop here at a price with the right trip. (10) SPRINGBRIDGEVISION drops and she should get sent forward leaving the gate this time. She is dangerous in this spot. (5) THE BANDIT QUEEN N is another dropper who figures. She should be in the Tri if she stays flat this week. (1) MORNING HAS BROKEN should fit better at this level and she can take a share racing close up again. (4) CATCH AN ACE is always a good one to use underneath as she takes frequent shares.
