Late Pick-5: 3,7/2,8/1,2/2,7/2,5 $6.40
Race 1: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GRASSROOTS LEG 3B. 3 YEAR OLD PACING FILLIES. STARTING FEE $400 CDN ($315 USD).
(6) CANT TURN YOU DOWN has been excellent in her last two and should fit against these. Draw favors her too. (3) HORSE WITH A PLAN has been unable to work out favorable trips in her last two. This is an easier group, and some gate speed could put her in a prime spot. (2) NAUGHTY DELIGHT may need some cover but has a solid turn of foot that can help her get a piece.

Race 2: FILLIES & MARES, NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $18,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. AE: N/A $2,210 P/S IN 2026.
(6) HORIZON SEELSTER looks for a drop and pop and likely another speed try. She tried the same approach two back but just missed. (1) MADRID A likely won’t get the front from the rail. A quarter move may leave her a step short if she takes more pressure throughout. (2) AVYANNA was a good second two starts ago at this level and should get into the mix with any kind of trip.
Race 3: MILLARD FARMS ELIMINATION: 2 YEAR OLD OPEN. STARTING FEE: $1,000 CDN $775 USD.
(5) ACCESS NOW was under no urging by McClure as he cruised to the wire. He’ll need to bring another effort just like that. (4) DETONATER HANOVER found his best stride late and finished less than a length behind the winner. He takes a second to get going, but his top speed could blow these away. (1) THE ITALIAN JOB was making up ground on Access Now but never appeared to be going by. The rail could hamper him in the early stages and leave him chasing late.
Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GRASSROOTS LEG 3B. 3 YEAR OLD PACING FILLIES. STARTING FEE $400 CDN ($315 USD).
(8) MY GIRL FRIDAY is in top form right now and paced a big final quarter to stick with Easy Station. J-Mac should have her activated early. (7) JEN TILLY is second start Lasix now after a much better effort in her latest. She could come around in a hurry. I think we know what (6) TH CHECK ME OUT is now. She’ll be forward early but likely won’t win unless she trips out.
Race 5: FILLIES & MARES, NW $6,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $12,000 LAST 8 STARTS (W/O $18,750 LAST 8 STARTS N/E) AE: OPT. CLM. $30,000.
(9) ONE LAST WISH will have to work hard from an outside draw but was lethal on the lead two back. (6) MYBITCOIN looms at a price if she uses a little more gate speed this week. Tote board should tell us plenty. (1) TAMARA HANOVER didn’t get a good trip last week but should be closer with this draw. I can see her grinding for a piece.
Race 6: MILLARD FARMS ELIMINATION: 2 YEAR OLD OPEN. STARTING FEE: $1,000 CDN $775 USD.
(3) THREE SIX ZERO just missed in the aforementioned Unstable Genius race. He rebounded nicely from the miscue and found the softer elimination. (7) SUMMIT BID is the biggest unknown after romping in his latest qualifier. He could be anything. (1) HONCHO will need to improve drastically to contend against the top echelon, but a couple breakers could leave him in line to get a piece.
Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GRASSROOTS LEG 3B. 3 YEAR OLD PACING FILLIES. STARTING FEE $400 CDN ($315 USD).
(2) A BETS A BET is second back after a strong second last week. A similar mile puts her right there. (8) P N G SHADOW should be blasting from the outside and could easily pace these off their feet. (3) NO BETTER AIR is usually a threat at the Grassroots level and is versatile enough to get a piece regardless of trip.
Race 8: FILLIES & MARES, 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $25,000 LIFETIME.
(2) SWEET MARY LOU showed her previous form was not a fluke. She raced extremely well first over and grinded down the leader for a new career best. I’ll go right back to her. (1) EMCEE has a big turn of foot but is likely to be out of position when leaving from the rail. (6) FAVORITISM is second back after a decent outing behind white hot Cant Turn You Down. She draws well and should improve.

Race 9: FILLIES & MARES, NW 8 RACES OR $155,000 LIFETIME. AE: NW $50,000 IN 2026.
(2) VERITY BLUE CHIP shines when she drops from the Open. Despite McNair choosing off, Mark Macdonald is equally as aggressive. (7) EASY STATION cruised in her latest but will have to bring her A-Game against older mares. (6) SANGRIA SUMMER was a very good second in the Nadia Lobell and set her lifetime mark two starts ago at Mohawk.
Race 10: FILLIES & MARES, NW $2,500 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $6,750 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $20,000. AE: NW $21,500 IN 2026 (MIN 10 STARTS).
(2) BIG NIPPER wore down the leader after a perfect trip and continued her win streak. I’ll go in her direction this week. (5) MADAM X gets a sharp drop and is likely to be forwardly placed from this draw. (6) DIXIE DREAM is third back at Mohawk and has been okay so far. I can see her stepping forward and getting a piece.
